Updated the messageboard and deleted a load of spam bots.

Over the next month I intend to have a new template in work to change the WG.com site. Simple question for the guys that visit the site the most. What is the resolution on your computer you like when viewing websites?

I just thought about perhaps updating mediawiki since this may give us extra tools like easy syndication of our pages so as to act as advertising. of course, updating software also brings with it a host of issues such as incompatibilities with any custom codes that have been put in. things may get broken and it may possibly cause some issues for our editors. what do you think about this?

i dont know if this has been suggested before...but how about adding a shout box the the forum?

Shoutbox Upgrade I'm hoping to get some work done on that tomorrow / weekend. The Shoutbox will be upgraded to work better on the new messageboard.

`The messageboard even after it's being updated is under contant hits by spam bots looking to register on the board and post their silly adds to enlarge your body parts.... Basically I've spent more time deleting bots than posting this week so that's had to stop for the moment. I've disabled new user signup for the time being until a new PHPBB or Mod comes out that will handle the spam wave more efectively. Until then sorry to new people who want to join the board for doing this. If you email Matt or I we'll help you get a new account enabled. Note I only check email on Saturdays normally (it's my messageboard fix it day and other general stuff).

Can we please have a rule for spelling and grammar. It certainly detracts from the forum, not too mention, it's hard to read when people do not put forth the effort to use proper spelling and grammar. >_

Maybe there could be a section just for spoilers. This would be a section where anyone who has all the books and movies etc can talk freely and not put **SPOILER** all over the place? good idea?

Star's Guyver Page is back up and running. Did get all the time I wanted to overhaul the whole site. So will now focus on section by section to get them as up to date has possible. Also fixed the Guyver Zoanoid fiction in the GWOTG Chrono saga.

hello, I have been looking at statistics today and thought i would share the findings. we may assume on some occasions that the wiki area of the site is not as popular as the forum or as popular as we would like. a lot of work is put into it and our desire is for it to be viewed and appreciated. Hopefully will have the messageboard moved to WG.com..... Fan-Fic from Aptom and a few others burried in my e-mails should be added to the Archive. Wallpaper from Matthew (not the Bellamy one) and from James. Updated FAQ and Credits area and Links. Above depends on if I can find time to do it Lots of Uni stuff to do as well.

Do the super emoticons still exist? do you remember the monkeys and the onions and the frogs and all of that? I can't seem to find them now.. I think they were a big part of the personality of the site?

I'm going to be updating the links section has part of the next update of the site (due when I've finished my next part of 7 days). I've created this new section for the forum. For the moment it is locked as the website hasn't gone online yet. For the moment any discussions about this section of the website can be had here in this topic and it will be moved into the new forum once the website goes online.

Hi All As some of you have noticed, lately I've not been on-line as much as I used to be. Reason been I've been working in a City just a little to far from where I live. Simply put I've had very little time to do anything during the week other than, work, sleep and eat and making sure I don't smell etc... So basically have not had time to even think about working on the site, fictions, pics etc. This thankfully looks set to change. Hi all, To decrease the amount of admin I've to do I'm going ahead with a project to merge the WarriorGuyver.com PhpBB3 forums (there's 2 there I've to keep up to date to stop spam bots....... etc) to that of the Japan-Legend.com forum. Basically that type of board (IPBoard) is a lot easier to admin and manage. As writing and editing is taking it's time (more than I expected due to ummm... possibly rustyness of both James and myself and being fussier and older when it comes to the stories) I think it's time to look at updating other parts of the site and getting the look and feel of the site updated with more focus being given to Stars Guyver page over the next few Saturdays / Sunday mornings. Hello all Time for the first WG-Fic update of the new year, for the most part it is going to be a new part of fan-fiction from me. There are most updates in production and this is not the large planned update which is still in the works, more a something to keep you interested. I'll edit this post later then I've more info on what will be added to the site. Brian EDIT: Site is now updated.

The messageboard is now running on the latest PHPBB and has being restored and updated. Next weekend I look to customising a little and getting back some of the old WG smiles etc to make it feel a bit more like home.

I'm working on the website at the mo... Just tested a new menu system at www.warriorguyver.com/index2.htm and it's working fine I'll be apply this to the site over the week and getting the newly rewrote union story Part 1 up as well hopefully. Nice to see a more cleaner code working! I also tested this on my iPhone and it works well.

New Fan fiction by me has been uploaded.

As per topic viewtopic.php?f=33&t=4389 The Front page will be changed over this coming weekend. No new content yet this is basically an update to get the site back into shape and ready for new content that will be coming it's way next month. Downtime "should" not happen :

On the main warrior guyver page, some of the fan fics and the navigation frame seem to be designed for people who have monitors that are over 1280x1024. I wonder if you guys could make the pages smaller so that some of us with monitors that dont go that far can view the site without unnecessary scrolling just to see what we cannot see on the webpage.
