I don't know what Adobe Firefly is, but I can say that the results do have different art styles. I particularly liked the Doom vs Alkanfel one, as the art style is much more crisp compared to the others, that gives me the mix style of Jim Lee (clean line art) and Joe Madureira (proportions). The others have too much noise on the art styles which is not my cup of tea. Very cool.

Knowing Lisker, I'm sure he'd probably toy with Cap...which could end up biting him in the @$$.

Of the 3, I don't see Captain Amecia getting that close to a Guyver. They are simply faster and no way he can take on the weapon systems they have. He'd be a pile of atoms unless Guyver 2 was messing with him. The others have a chance of happening. Other than that AI pics are fun.

So, out of curiosity, I've been...playing around with Adobe Firefly. And I had an idea of using it to put together some mash-ups. Here's some of the results: So...thoughts?

I usually land on the front page so I don't get to see this much. But looking at the forums page now, after the 2 box, there's a long tab on the right showing topics which fits perfectly, so that's probably the wide space is for. Like so: Will the new change include this slider thingamajig? I don't know much about any of these technical jargon, but whatever changes made is okay for me as long as I am able to access this site and continue with the interaction with everyone.

Really sad and unfortunate news. Guyver was my introduction to anime back in the early 90s and it'll always hold a place in my heart. Wishing Takaya all the best and hope he's comfortable.

Any chance of feedback from you guys before I push some changes through? NOTE: T5 refers to the version of Messageboard we're now using. When I started, it was T3. T4 was what we'd been using for ages until it aged out and I had to move us to T5. The only thing is the T5 board doesn't look so great. We're also limited in what we can provide in forums. E.G. 3 in a row on Windows with a blank box beside 2 if it can't be 3: This though, looks fine on a mobile. So clearly the design is more aimed at that than old folks on PCs. So basically, I'm looking to prune and modify the board so the actual stuff people visit is at the top. Unused sections will be archived, or possibly closed or merged into others. I'll leave this topic open for a month, so let me know what if anything, you guys would like, or what just isn't useful any more or isn't in the right order.

Got it... got to say love the attention to detail that went into the Blu-ray box! Debating on buying a second as I want to keep a perfect copy with the Toy Robot cover binder on it....

With the amount of new stuff toy-wise... Guyver will never end for me. Just my entertainment from it is in a different form.

With Takaya officially coming out saying there is no new story from him, I think it's time to get this site more finalised. Question for you guys. I want this site to be all things official Guyver. So would a new toys/model section area (as that tends to be where we now see new stuff) be more relevant these days? Trying to decide what will go into it. While some people have custom stuff, would pics of people's collections also be something this site should show?

Bad news GREAT news situation over the last few days. The old cert for the site expired, and Comodo were been assholes. So I bought AutoReNew certs for the site. Took awhile to get working last night but in the long term, I've never to update the certs for the site again. Just pay and be done!!!! WarriorGuyver.com has been updated to this too. Theguyver.net is currently down as it's a little more complex to migrate... Getting there though.

Came across this completely by chance while browsing in HMV, was very presently surpised.

Long time know see all. Only recently heard the news. I sort of knew this day would come but it doesn't soften the blow. It's such a shame that Takaya suffered such health problems and I wish him all the best as a fan. Guyver now finds itself alongside other unfinished works as Chapter of Ho-Oh & Getter Robo Arc. Still I brought me much fun over the years and was an important part of shaping my taste in entertainment. It also lead me to joining online forum and having fun talking about my faviort things with fellow fans. Thank you Takaya and thank you Guyver. You'll always hold a special place in my heart.

Ah I thought the scorched rim after the megasmasher stood out to me in particular while watching it and i couldn't pinpoint why - so that's the other extra special effect. I watched a few clips of the original cut and the quality is far better than i expected. it has a noticably darker image but the quality is otherwise very good. i had read conflicting things, such as it basically being dvd quality but i definitely don't remember my dvd looking like that. the enhanced version is good but i would've been pretty satisfied even if the original cut were the only version on there to be honest. my only gripe now is that it feels like a missed opportunity to put the 4:3 version on there but i feel like people are allergic to anything that's not widescreen these days.
