I really can't say I'm agnostic. Though I don't believe in God, I absolutely fear him. don't ask me to explain this, it's complicated. And with the notion of religion, I believe that it is the People who created God, not the other way around. The concept of a higher being gives hope to the desperate and makes them strive for a better way of living. Giving examples of going to heaven after death will encourge People to live their life the fullest. And it is certainly true that in times past, religion has been seen as brutal. Examples are the Crusade and Jihad. But it is not religion that is evil here, it is the People who believes in religion and perverse it's true intention. Since the higher power does not directly intervene with the actions of humans, it is the humans who acts and decides themselves. Giving an example about some terrorist. We see them as, well, terrorist. But they have a motive. Even though thru our eyes they are evil, in their own ideals, they are doing a noble thing and believes that their cause is just.

Firstly, I apologize if I'm going to sound like a Jackass or/and a goddamn "knowitall". But please allow me to give me some of my opinions. Hentai is plain pervert. And no, Hentai does not mean porn. However, it is now generally accepted that Hentai is a class of japanese animation, Game or Comics. This is where they coined that term "H" or Ecchi to classify Hentai Anime or Hentai manga. In a way, you can called them perverse Animation and perverse comic. Porn is called "Waihon" (わいほん) Incidentally, Hentai (変態) also means metamorphosis or transformation. Although this is correct, this is not a word, but rather a shorthand phrase from "Anata wa baka desu ka" (貴方はバカですか) and is spoken in a specific manner. Much like an equivalent to the enlgish "ya stupid?". Gaikokujin (外国人) is literally translated as person from another country. Gaijin (外人) simply refers to outsider. This is not necessarily false. Ou (王) is generally a ruler or a king. But since People see God as a ruler, they tend to use "Ou" as God. It's just that "Great Thunder God" sounds much more intimidating than "Great Thunder Ruler". And if they are going to use the word "Kami" (神) in a name, they would say it as "Jin", which the early example, "Kyoryujin" can also be translated as Giant Dragon God. Depending on the kanji used. (巨龍人) = Giant Dragon Man (巨龍神) = Giant Dragon God.

Tell me not if mournful numbers, life is but an empty dream. For the soul is dead that slumbers, And things are not what they seem. Life is real, Life is earnest, and the grave is not its goal Dust thou art to dust returnest, was not spoken of the soul Not enjoyment and not sorrow, is out destined end or way, But to act, that each to-morrow, find us farther from to-day Art is long and time is fleeting, and our hearts though stout and breave. Still, like muffled drums are beating, funeral marches to the grave. In the world's broad field of battle, in the bivouac of Life, Be not like Dumb driven cattle, be a hero in the strife! Trust no future howe'ver pleasant, let the dead past bury it's dead. Act-! act in the living present, Heart within and God o'erhead Lives of great men all remind us, We can make our lives sublime. And, departing, leave behind us, footprints in the sand of time. Footprints that perhaps another, sailing o'er life's solemn main. A forlorn and shipwrecked brother, Seeing, shall take heart again. Lets us then, be up and doing, With a heart for any fate. Still achieving, still pursuing, learn to labor and to wait.

Unfortunately, where I live, I don't see any of it. In fact, I see the exact opposite.

Haven't read that one yet, but I did read about Spiderman:Reign. It's sort of an approach on spiderman on how Frank Miller apprached batman in Return of the Dark Knight. Set in the future and there are no more heroes around. So what's Spiderman the other is about. I'm kinda getting interested since you recommended me Y the last man, and it was a good read.

Look, it was an honest mistake. Could we just drop this? Yeesh! back to topic, how do you guys acquire your comics anyway? Do you get them the usual way, like buying them from a newstand, or do you just get ebil and leech it off the internet. I used to buy comics from our local comic book store. I was a collector then, but stopped (no more space). Now I get issues off the internet the ones I can no longer buy on our book store. But usually, I just borrow from a friend.

Sorry, then perhaps you might want to edit out your quote. And do you really need to use Caps on that? And recently finished reading the latest issue of 52, things really did get interesting. I guess you really shouldn't judge a comic with only a few issues. Lot's of things happening that I didn't quite expect, like who died and who was still alive. Guess there's 3 more weeks of anticipation for me.

Interesting. Although I don't have much liking to the punisher, I have great respect for him and what he does. The 4th page that's showing him facing off Captain America, in recent events at marvel indicated that Frank Castle has the utmost respect for Captain America. Won't even fight back when he was being beaten to a pulp. Cap was one of the guys that trained Frank Castle. And after the events at Civil war, I've never read any of the What ifs, but the ideas that the comic present are refreshing. I do however have read the What the!?. Kinda spoofs for the what ifs. Edit: .....

Ah, spawn, yes, having the nice necro-plasma entity as a costume. Not to mention being able to defeat his master, and becoming the absolute being as powerful as God and the Devil. Just gotta love the story in there. His toys are kinda cool too. I've just recently started reading DC's 52. I've read good reviews of it, but I'm still not impresed after reading 5 issues of it. Perhaps the juicy parts would come later.

Yeah, I jest finished reading issue 50. I'm still wondering what the Israelites intention with Yorick, and where his sister and the Russian chick is going with the kids. Another interesting title that I've read recently is the Savage Dragon. Its one crazy story after another. I'm still waiting for issue 132.

Ok, managed to grab myself a few issues of Y-man. Didn't realize it was in the Vertigo imprint of DC. Books from the vertigo line are usually good reads. Pretty funny how the last man on earth turns out in a world ruled by women.

This guy has a moderate collection of SIC figures: http://gundam.kfchong.net/collections/html...ection_sic.html I really regretted not buying the SIC Kamen Rider Black and Shadow Moon figure which was worth less than $12 for the two figures. I really wanted to kick myself when I can't find it anymore.

Has anybody noticed how majority of the names in bleach are referenced from Spanish (or Mexican)? I'm not so sure about the anime, but the Manga has full of Mexican names in the title chapters. You know, Hueco Mundo, Espada, etc. Heck, even Chad has a strong hint of being Mexican.

Thanks man! I think I'll go watch this on youtube. Saves me the bandwidth and time. I just hope they this won't be dragging like how they did to Naruto.
-
I haven't read it yet. Would you care to give us some insight on the title? If it's interesting enough, I might try my hand on reading it.
-
OMG! May I know which episode particularly that went back in line with the manga? If I'm not mistaken, their opponents should be the arrancars' Espada.
-
I've seen Bleach. But I stopped watching it when they strayed from the manga. The last episode I saw was episode 60 I think. I don't know if they've stopped with the fillers and resumed where the Manga left off. But I still continue to read Bleach in manga.

Dammit! That's what I hated about the Civil War. I actually didn't know that happened until I search the internet for it. I cried. The World War Hulk is basically another one of those corssover, like Dekared said, similar to onslaught of the x-man. This time the heroes will be facing the Hulk. From the ourside you will see that the Hulk is the bad guy, but after reading the Planet Hulk saga, you can see that his actions are justified. Imagine how you'd feel after you've been kicked out of the planet, send off course the intended planet they intend to send you, spilled your blood to survived and getting what you finally wanted, just to be screwed over again by the guys who kicked you out. Like I said, pissed is an understatement. I've not heard much about DC these days. I did enjoy the several classic titles more specifically batman. DC didn't grab my attention much like how Marvel grabbed mine. Also, I'm currently enjoying the Savage Dragon series by Erik Larsen from Image. Really unorthodox story but really enjoyable. Hey, where else do you see the Devil kicking God in the nuts.

That doesn't look like the SIC figure I've seen. It looks more like the Anime version of the figure. I particularly like the V3 version. I saw that one posted in a hobby magazine with a diorama, which is exactly like the one pictured above. I think he was facing off with another Kamen Rider, just can't remember who.

Recently I've been reading american comics, particularly marvel. They just finished their company wide crossover and I enjoyed the story overall. Althought I was a bit disappointed with the end results, it was still an enjoyable read. Another story that I enjoyed was the Planet Hulk storyline. The story is about to end and will result to the company wide crossover this year for marvel, the World War Hulk. And we all know that the madder the hulk is, the stronger he gets. Let's just say that this time, pissed is an understatement.

Have you guys seen any of the SIC figures out there lately? I think they started with the Kikaider series with this, which eventually lead to more Kamen Rider Incarnations. I've seen most of them and I was very impressed with the detail of each figure. Guess Mcfarlane toys was an inspiration for this line. (well, Mcfarlane did set the standard for the amount of detail in action figures). I wish I have one of these figures, but they are very elusive in our market. And I don't like to buy online. Do any of you guys have one? And if so, can you showcase your figure for everyone to see?
