"So, I see you've finally awakened," Mr. Luggnagg said, sitting down on his bed next to him. "How do you feel?"
"I'm okay, Mr. Luggnagg," he said. "But what happened? Where's Mr. Khan?"
"It's best that you don't think about him anymore, little boy," Mr. Luggnagg said, reaching over to pat his head.
"Oh, okay. Has my dad said anything about picking me up yet?"
"Not to me. Did he contact you?"
"No," he said, dissapointed.
"Then perhaps your father is simply going to contact you later. In the meantime, would you like to have breakfast with me?"
"Thanks, Mr. Luggnagg," he said, letting himself be tugged out of bed. He hoped that breakfast would be really yummy, and he hoped that Dad would talk to him soon.
