Man, it's sooooo long since I posted anything on this forum that I can't remember when that was. You know, us in this forum are probably some of THE most loyal fans of anything to be hanging on and keep checking on the status of this manga. This is my favorite manga of all time, but One-Punch Man has found a place right next to this one. If it's been three years since we last got a chapter, it is hard for me to believe it! I truly hope that we hear some good news this year and kudos to all for hanging in there with me.
-
That would be great. Thanks!

Wow, even the old emoticons are gone. It's sad to see that there is no new chapter as of November. I sure hope we get some news in the near future. Anything would do, just as long as it gave us an inkling as to what to expect and when. I'm a huge fan and have been since the beginning. This is my favorite manga and I hope it doesn't go away like this...

I am going to call the Kinnokuniya Books Store in LA tomorrow to ask/reserve my copy (assuming that I will remember to call) and then I will let you know what they say.

Oh wow, that's going really bad, really quickly for the zoalords. I wonder if and how they're going to get out of this one. It's nice to see everything in sequencial order. Muchas gracias alkanfel009. Seria chevere si tuvieramos la traducción, pero ni modo.

That's really good information guys, thank you very much. I'm planning on going to Japan next summer so I may just wait till I get there to purchase mine, seeing how it costs 580 yen. I rather pay that then almost $10 here at Kinnokuniya bookstores.

I have worried about the same thing. I have been a fan of this manga since I discovered the orginal OVAs back in the late 80's/early 90's, so it's been a long time. I have often worried about this story not being finished. On top of all the characters and situations that have been introduced, as well as the story twists and continuing plot threads, we have yet to see the battle forms for Balcas, that one zoalord that has not appeared since the attack of all the zoalords combined on Mt. Minakami (I think that's the name). I can't remember that guy's name, but he looks like he's made out of rock. We still have to see him in action. I would think that this story has about 20 more books to go, at least....

This IS exciting! Agito is still learning to use the Giant armor and I assume that he will have certain abilities that Sho's armor does not, but I would think that they do share some in common. Apprarently Agito can see/sense the apparent invisible attacks against him by using the amplifiers on his body. I have a feeling that this fight alone will take a whole book to finish and I would be ok with that, as long as it's a really good fight.

I think that Takaya needed an excuse to show that also can transform into the Exceed mode like . I just hope that we don't get left hanging next month by not getting a chapter. I truly want to see how this battle develops without having any interruptions in the next coming months.
-
WOW! I definitely did not expect this! So those two can combine, huh? I definitely like it, but I hope that this combination is only temporary. I would feel cheated if this is all they can do. I want them to have their own Zoalord versions, powers and abilities. Of course I want to see Agito turn into Gigantic and duke it out with them, but I also want to see their own individual zoaforms.
-
The Guyver armor is powerful. No wonder Chronos was afraid of them. I can only imagine how much more afraid they became once the Gigantic appeared.
-
Wooooooow... With all the Gigantic Guyver action in the past books, I had almost forgotten that the Guyver's Megasmasher also packs a punch! This chapter was too short, but I love the zoanoids and the battle. I can't wait to see how this proceeds. Gracias por el enlazo.
-
Whoa, ho, ho, ho... It's looking good, it's looking good! I like what I see. Those zoanoids in the cover page look pretty cool. I can't wait to see the rest.
-
Agito definitely has more experience now with the Gigantic Armor, plus he doesn't need to worry about fighting for it since he has his own. What I want to know is why he is there. He had a purpose of going to Arizona and that was to get the orbs from the Advent's ship. What purpose would he have for paying these two a visit? Is it just so that he can eliminate these two or could it be that they are housing something he wants? As far as figuring out how he found their hideout, doesn't Chronos know the location of every base? Maybe Shou got the coordinates from his talk with the Zoalord in Japan and passed on the information. And finally, it definitely seems that he has the advantage, but we don't know the abilities of the traitor Zoalords. I'm thinking that Jabril will die and the other escape to save himself.
-
Awwwwwww yeeeeeeah! Thanks Cannibal! Daaaaang. This is freak'n awesome. We finally get to see those two get some action! After so much coasting, things are finally picking up speed and it looks very promising. Dejavu to Arizona, wouldn't you say? I'm really excited now. I just hope that we get another chapter next month because it would really suck if we don't get one.
-
I've been away for a while, but it seems that I haven't missed much. Wow! That's an amazing find Cannibal. Oh, and thank you so much for the scans!
-
Alright! Thank you Cannibal! I can't wait to see what's in store.
-
Hmmm... well, I for one hates to have to wait so long for such short chapters, but I am glad that the manga is still going. I wish that it would be serialized so much faster than this. It is by far my favorite manga of all time and wish that it would never end. If we could only get at least a chapter a month consistently...
-
Wow! You about had me there, that is until I got a good look at Gyout and then realized that it was on of the drawings from the chapters. But it's a great looking cover!

I don't remember that being said about Aptom. In which volume? 8?
-
Ok, so at this point, if Aptom doesn't absorb another Zoanoid, he dies? I mean, that is his "food" right? In order to stay alive he needs to absorb another Zoanoid.
-
I didn't say his whole body looked like the Hyper Zoanoid from the fight at the airport. I said his left shoulder and I should have said part of the left part of his chest. To me he does look like in his Evil Aptom form, he has that Hyper's part of the body. As far as that being "bad story telling" or "cowardly," I think to say that is rough, even severe. But anyways, in my opinion doing what he did, Takaya sensei did something awesome. I personally can't wait to see what Aptom's other abilities are.
-
Well, all Aptom, or the author really, would need to do is have Aptom use a new technique or weapon and have him say to some in the comic or in a thinking bubble that thanks to some of the Zoanoids or Hyper Zoanoids that he absorbed, he could replicate whatever it is he did. I still think that it is masterful the way he allowed himself the freedom to have Aptom do anything he wants him to do. As an example, and I pointed this out in the thread where arrives in Japan, that when Aptom is in his Evil Aptom form, that the left part of his chest and shoulder belongs to the Hyper Zoanoid she fights in the outskirts of the airport. Takaya sensei has never offered an explanation as to which Zoanoids Aptom resembles in that form because it isn't needed. It is implied as to why he looks the way he looks and the reader accepts it. The same with his unknown abilities. Another example is when Aptom is at Biofreezer's when he is dying and Aptom creates a bio-laser out of his hand. I thought that was cool and unexpected, yet we are not told which Zoanoid that belongs to, though I think that I can figure it out by looking at past issues.
-
Well, at this point, we may not be able to pinpoint exactly which zoanoid Aptom got the spear from, but we can know this: he can show ANY new weapon we have not yet seen and the author does not need to give ANY precise explanation of which zoanoid he got it from because he absorbed so many zoanoids in the battle with Khan and that makes it a scapegoat to make him have whatever abilities he wants him to have. But like I mentioned in a previous post, it would be cool to have a chart show exactly all the types of zoanoids he absorbed and their abilities.

I erroneously said that they can sense invisible objects, but I believe that you have articulated the exact thought that I meant to share.
