  1. I don't think it would be a good idea to turn Mizuki and Tetsuro into Zoalords. Only Archanfel can mentally dominate a Zoalord, and not only is he asleep most of the time - and, as Barkas said, on the cusp of a very long sleeping period - but Guyot showed that it is possible to not just resist his will, but even to try to kill him. Now... if Murakami is manifesting as a personality again, maybe he IS taking out Zoalords and removing their Zoa-Crystals... not for Archanfel, but to cripple Chronos! Between Sho, Zeus' Thunderbolt, Aptom, the rogue Zoalords and Guyot, plus governing the entire world, Chronos is facing a war on too many fronts, and they are losing generals fast. The more I think about it, the more logical it seems. My hypothesis: Almost dying at the hands of the Gigantic Dark caused Murakami to manifest again, albeit as a shadow personality inside the dominant Imakarum. That is why Barkas could not detect him: Imakarum is still loyal. But sometimes, Murakami takes over and Imakarum blacks out; Murakami can then use all his immense power to attack Chronos, assassinating their generals and making it impossible to replace them. He never revealed himself to Sho and the others because of the possibility of them getting caught and made to talk. Where did the armor come from, however? And what is the connection with the Uranus? Did the Advents discover Earth still exists... and did they try to contact Archanfel, but got Imakarum instead because Archie was out cold? Was a deal made, perhaps? Maybe the Creator-ships send out an automated signal when they are activated. In that case, awakening the Relic might have alerted the Creators. That would be ironic. Or perhaps it was the Ark? Maybe a fully-grown Ark sort of cries out to its own kind, like a newborn baby's cry. We know there were many Arks when the Creators first came to Earth. (Does this mean all the beet-shaped Creator ships are like larval Arks?). Maybe Murakami is now trying his best to save humanity from the Creators, convincing them the humans are worthy of life. Maybe the war is over. That would be cool. Questions, questions... I am really curious to see where this is going.
  2. No, that one carving resembles the Relic. Also, seriously, how awesome would it be if Mizuki had to decide whether to smash in Archanfel's skull with a rock?
  3. I don't agree, Guyver0. I think they'll find Archanfel asleep and then are faced with the dilemma of what the f*ck they're supposed to do now??? That would be very interesting... I think Imakarum is Apollyon, now. He can't kill Archanfel, but he can offer humans the choice of what to do. Maybe Imakarum is a split personality now - Murakami and Imakarum. But even Murakami can't harm Archanfel due to Imakarum's connection with him. I think they're gonna find Archanfel, asleep, and the Apollyon armor, empty. (But they can't tell it's empty at first). And then the Werewolf enters the temple and attacks the siblings, so Mizuki, in a reflex, dons the Apollyon armor and flies away with Tetsuro in her arms! I doubt it, but it would be incredibly awesome.
  4. My idiosyncratic scanlation. http://www.mediafire.com/?k6a0444896xizdn
  5. Ah. Well, I guess it is me, Muggins, who'll have to do it then.
  6. Thank you, Durendal, you are the Flash...!! Meanwhile, I must stand by my opinion. Kinda dull.
  7. I can't call this awesome. They don't know anything so they can't be giving exposition, and visually there's nothing we haven't seen before. One thing: Where'd she get the shoes? When Apollyon kidnapped them, she didn't have any. Did she have a pair in her pocket, or did Polly very thoughfully provide them so she wouldn't have to pad through a dusty, old, cold stone temple in her bare feet?
  8. Sixteen pages, luxurious! And more coverage of the cave. Maybe, at the end, Apollyon will take off his helmet and they'll be all "YOU!!" and it's Yohei. Or the truck driiver, back for revenge. "I will destroy Chronos for what they did to me! This armor holds my hamburger-like body together and conceals my identity until my vengeance is complete." Oh yes, I bet you all forgot about that guy... but he's back! Muahahahaha!
  9. I just saw that a few days ago. Yeah, it's pretty great, isn't it?
  10. It would be more interesting if the Unit was driven insane by the Hulk's emotional state. Plus: Ultimate Hulk is already a super-adaptable bio-weapon! Grew an extra-thick skeleton and a completely new deep muscle structure in seconds to deal with the atmospheric pressure of Venus. He might not be able to merge with a Unit at all! And what of Thor? Or Orion? They're gods. Perhaps the Unit would not consider them organic life forms and hence remain inert. But a bio-booster Orion is a horrifying notion. Oh! And what about a bio-boosted Doomsday...??
  11. The Guyver... and Iron Man. Currently, in the comics, Iron Man has the armor inside him in the form of platinum/iron nanofibers that hook directly into his nervous system so the armor system is like an organ he controls with his mind. The whole thing is powered by an electromagnetic generator that's been implanted in his chest. He 'grows' the armor around himself and can form new, different configurations as he sees fit. If he merged with a Unit, the Unit would view the armor and generator as parts of him. At least that's what I think. Imagine the outcome. A cyborg Guyver. The Unit itself would change. And he underwent the Extremis process a few years ago! Boosted his entire biology. He heals much more quickly, his pulmonary and cardiovascular systems are upgraded to a insane degree, nervous reaction is sped up, enhanced organs... Imagine a Guyver that can grow new weapons systems as fast as it can conceive of them.
  12. If Aptom does manage to absorb Unus, Chronos will have a real problem. He can clone himself (In fact, it would not surprise me if he has a bunch of 'backups' walking around in the world, just in case)... so if he absorbs Unus... and then replicates himself a bunch of times... and then fuses again... yikes.
  13. Plus: Normal organisms develop acquired immunity. Isn't it about time Aptom, with his insane metabolism, gets past that virus?
  14. It wasn't bad unto itself. My sweetheart saw it and liked it a lot, but she's never seen an Alien movie. I felt it diminished the franchise. And it added some rather obligatory points. I mean, some pretty 'yawn' concepts.
  15. Saw it. Was disappointed.
  16. I once did a Punisher/ Guyver pic... I ought to do a new version.
  17. Oh, hell, yes, Guyot and the renegades still get a recap chapter... And then, Agito and Shizu... As for Griselda and Valkuria: I am kind of bummed that A) we still don't know whether one, both or neither of them died; and B) we never got to see either of them naked despite the fact they both should have been at the end!
  18. Mailed it to you, dude. *** Oh, whoops. Gotta correct that.
  19. Damn it, I'd need to sign up to MediaFire for this. I don't want to. Can't I mail the .zip to someone who is already signed up?
  20. Thank you very much, I'll get on that.
  21. I read this a while back, trying to ascertain if he was supposed to represent apollo or apollon. what i found was that in japanese wikipedia, the katakana for apollon or apollo is different to that used for apollon in guyver. also the kana and kanji for apollon is the same as used to describe abaddon. so it's not as simple as saying he is apollo or apollon unfortunately. I wish it were. So... we're still not sure whether Takaya-san is thinking of the Greek god Apollo or the Biblical demon Apollyon? I was thinking the same thing; that or they'll be used as a bargaining chip to get Sho's cooperation for something. Them being processed into Zoalords will certainly destroy Sho in more ways than one since they're his reason to continue fighting. Considering the crap Guyot is pulling, creating two new, hostile Zoalords would be a very bad decision on Chronos' part. Also: he didn't quit when his father was processed. Well, he did for a while, but he's older now. I mean, that might just piss him off so much he just goes completely bug-nuts and starts killing Zoalords left and right. And they can't count on Archanfel. Hell, Archanfel might not even be able to defeat Sho if he goes Exceed.
  22. I thought your pronounced the Greek god's name "a pollo" anyway. Oh, here... in Greek, it is Apollon; "Apollo" is Latin, ie Roman. Since it's Chronos and Zeus and Uranus, we should use the Greek form, I think. "Ah-poll-on"? "As the patron of Delphi (Pythian Apollo), Apollo was an oracular god—the prophetic deity of the Delphic Oracle. Medicine and healing are associated with Apollo, whether through the god himself or mediated through his son Asclepius, yet Apollo was also seen as a god who could bring ill-health and deadly plague." I guess that's the connection. We originally assumed it was Apollyon, the Biblical Angel of the Pit who brings destruction in the book of Revelations, but of course that's a different mythology altogether...
  23. Um... how does that work? *** Ah, got it. Hmmm... lots of talking, but a little pay-off at the end... Could that be in the Temple of Sleep?
