  1. Shiiinnny. Look at the pretty lights mommy! Can I touch it? Can I? Can I? (My inner child screaming out) Heh, excellent. They look good. Needs a little refining around the edges, make a little softer perhaps? But still a good piece of work.
  2. Interesting. Very good. Heh, can't wait man.
  3. IF both medals are damaged, but in different parts, ie different functions have been damaged, wouldn't the merging of the two damaged CM's create in theory one undamaged CM? Just food for thought, but since two undamaged CM's can't be on one host, then wouldn't they also merge together anyway like with the Relic?
  4. Yep. Ain't it great? And they did remove too much. Like the Sphinx. I don't recall the Priori Incantatem being shown either. Some of the really important stuff always gets left out. The beginning got left out. That's actually relevant too. Oh, and the job on old Voldemort (he's old enough to be one of the student's grandfathers. Ewwww!) makes him look REALLY hideous. I mean, it's a face only a mother (or in his case, Nagini) could love. Yeesh.
  5. All things considered, it was better overall I think. No SPEW! YEAY! Seriously. They did a good job with everything. A few holes, but hey, every movie based a book has 'em.
  6. I think I want to see more of the WOTG. But concerning what is not my real concern. On another note, it's good to hear from you again. Alas, so much to do, so little time to do it in. And yes, destroying the council is destroying the capital, but, if not replaced, then, even the greatest races will fall regardless. As such is the fate of those who war. Freedom, amongst other things has its price that must be paid periodically. That price is paid through war, even though war is damnable.
  7. Ya don't say?! Do ya think that I just MAY have all ready resigned myself to the pointlessness and sheer stupidity of people the world, ESPECIALLY the politicians particularly in the US?! After all, this is Earth we're talking about and the human race, which by the way in just the last 100 years has done nothing but screw up every 20 years?? Ain't irony a wonderful thing?
  8. I'm not necessarily giving them excuses. I'm trying to figure out what the bloody h*** they're thinking! You ever try to figure someone?? But you're right, I do need to shut my mouth once in a while. But, the mind is a terrible thing to waste on the hack projects they seem to enjoy. Anyway, I need to take of some stuff.
  9. Wow. A "Christmas List" for the site. Umm, streamlined would be good. Like, when you enter, if the person has a seperate site adding it under their name, that would be good. Text is easy to read, so that's not a problem. It's simple (yeay!!), functional. Eh, not much more I can think of right now. It's pretty good as is too though, so most changes made are likely to be simple, minor things. The streamline would be an exception. Redesigning the front page might be smart. Not so many frames and seperations...
  10. Ooohh. Pretty! Okay, enough with the theatric, yeah?? It's good. Very good. And the demon himself is revealed.
  11. Hmmm. Very interesting. The darker original is pretty nice looking. I like it a lot better. An savior's wings in the midst of chaos in a shattered reality.
  12. Hmmm. Not only does this type of thing start wars, it also breeds hate. That in itself brings forth more hatred, and more violence, electronic or otherwise. It's a very common response to get angered at what we do not know or understand. That is to say, their motives. Eventually, things will settle. Often, the thief comes in the night. If that's the case, just surround the house with flood lights and leave no spot unlit at night. Granted, the neighbors might get pissed, but if it keeps you safe, why not do it? But, yes, I can understand people being unhappy. But them calling us infidels, or whatever, doesn't really help their cause. In the short run yes, but not in the long run. Especially since on here, we never really touch the religious topics. At least, not from what I can tell. Different things mean something to everyone, and it's not necessarily the same throughout. A world divided along philosophical beliefs will break apart at the seams and burst with violence, hate, and discontent. Given that Turkey is very much Islamic, specifically Sunni, it would be a good bet at the religious angle. But one that which has very little impact. Keep in mind that biding our time for other things would be best.
  13. Ah, well, there goes my fun. But seriously, on a more serious note (ha ha), would security software do the trick?
  14. You're right, raw power doesn't guarantee victory. Even a hyena, given the prowess, can take down a lion. Victory lies in how you use your force. Even a relatively weak opponent can knock out the bigger guy, if he's smarter and faster than the other guy. Remember also that both a defeated man and a man running away have something in common: they both may have a plan. But it's good that the re-writes are nearing completion. Things are looking up for the new year, ne? Anyway, whether it becomes comparable or not is not of interest to me, but to return to the topic, given from what has been portrayed, I imagine that the work will probably be darker, I'm stabbing at the dark here. He may be stronger, but if so, I doubt but a significant amount as even a small increase in his base form will have drastic consequences later on with the Matrix and as Dreadnaught. Perhaps events would be twisted in someway? Again, stabbing at the dark, but given what has been said in the past and wat I know of rewrites, this sometimes is the case. BTW, by 'darker' I mean more, uh sinister maybe? It's hard to explain. I guess the way I should say it is that it would become something you wouldn't want to read to a child? I know that that is all ready the case, but even more so than the old.
  15. Indeed. You do well in drawing. I've said it many time before, but still. Ack, who am I kidding, huh? I do better with machines than people!! It's a bloody good thing I'm studying to be an engineer!!
  16. Okay... Well, at any rate, Happy New Year to all. Now for the official web 'toast': To the future we bring our hopes, and to the past, we relieve ourselves of our fears. To our present, we live, and can do nothing more. To the new year, our hopes, joys, desires, and needs are brought before Thee so that they may be provided for. For those who are hungry, may food be brought to them. To the homeless, may shelter forever be brought over your head. To the weak, may the year bring you stronger, and wiser. To the lame, crippled, and injured, may your hearts heal you and may your body that can heal, heal and for those parts that cannot, may your mind be at peace and heal as well. To those who are well, home safe, strong, and full of food, may you share your resources that you have gained, so that you waste none. To our bretheren worldwide, I can only hope, and pray, and seek peace. Peace within ourselves, peace within our communities, peace within our nations, and peace within our world. Perhaps naive, but even so, may the new year be better than the last, and may grace shine brightly. To those at the board, I wish you a wonderful new year, and a wonderful new start in hopes things start to go right.
  17. Getting hacked again? Well, you could let the hacker aquire a virus as he hacks... If it's possible. I wonder if you could put a ridiculously strong firewall. Custom made that is. Anway, that means I got to go and figure out what I sent in yesterday...
  18. I got people what they wanted, and I got most of my list anyway, so there's no real big deal about it. Anyway, giving gifts is fun, I won't contradict that. Christmas was good. Except for the fact I was WORKING Christmas Eve, and nearly missed my Christmas service. We had a Christmas party. End of story.
  19. Heh, I'm curious now. Anyway, I've seen the Farscape a couple of times, and wow! Anyway, it will be interesting either way the coin lands.
  20. In other words, backing up the files what, weekly? Semi-Weekly? Not any less often than bi-weekly for sure. If we follow thorugh with any suggestions, lots of hurdles will be present. Mostly monetary and time issues. The latter can be delegated to programs and such. Still, it is worrisome that people do this. Perhaps the best answer comes from the simplest question? I'm pretty sure it just isn't here. Many sites get 'hacked' though in some cases, with like ours, it's more idiotic and annoying than it is damaging. And that's not saying anything about their egos that either were hurt, or they just have a really big ego that needs inflating. Curiously, perhaps two of the most hacked places, or at least attempted hacks, are the US Government and Microsoft. The former for more obvious military reasons, and the latter as most people get really annoyed with Mircosoft. Though an expert hacker wouldn't leave a calling card, would he? Especially one that's traceable. Anyway, I'll be more worried if this becomes a regular event, even then, it'll be mere annoyance and inconvience than anything else. C'mon, you've heard of ants, right? (Who wouldn't?) They're an annoyance and inconvience. Just like maggots. Still, things certainly are more curiouser now than they were prior to the first incident, no?
  21. It is quite intriguing and somewhat odd that such mechandise is made. Of course, one can't really blame them now. And in its own quirky way, it's actually kind of both smart and funny. But, It would be interesting to the flavors involved...
  22. Yeah, the whole idea was sort of a subplot that was gratefully left out. However, on a side note, I did want to see the sphinx. That would have been cool. And I thought the entire maze was supposed to be confined to the Quidditch arena. Eh, can't have everything. Anyway, they did a nice job, definite humor with darker undertones too. After all, it is the turning point in the series. Everything before was light-hearted, cutsy, lovy-dovy stuff, that now, you get to the much more darker side of things and the true personas appearing. Of course, how they approach the other book is yet to be seen. After all, after the next movie, well, for those who read the books, know that things become more critical and slightly disturbing.
  23. It looks good though. About the only body part I can sketch really well are hands. That's it. So, it looks good, but this comes from a guy who knows he can't really draw well.
  24. He does seem to enjoy doing that. I believe it is a good test of patience on his absense. One must be careful what one says anywhere, even behind closed doors. The subject's ears may be listening, or in this case, his eyes may be watching. Then again, he may simply have been busy. I know I will be with college finals coming up in two weeks. There are somethings one must learn to ignore.
  25. So, in other words, the work prior that was due to speculation and conjecture was thrown out the window for a lack of a better phrase, and that you wanted to correct this, yet it still won't answer all of the questions, but you wanted to keep it as accurate as possible. In addition, you still wanted to have a little fun and freedom with a few concepts. Is that right? If it is, it certainly is an interesting notion, though even after he is done with the story (which I doubt will ever be the case), there will still be a lot of room of freedom of differentiation and deviation, as well as conjectures and hypothesis that are needed to be tested. And, as it is with all things made and born, so too must they die or be destroyed. It is a matter of when, not if. As long as one enjoys what has been, what is, and what is to come, then ideas will always flow. Archiving the old stories was asmart move. Many things are a matter of when, and not if. Going and doing great things for our species is in itself a matter of when and not if. But, if they see fit to keep going, and with support, it may be a very long time before it ends. Patience, Support and Constructive Criticism is key. Patience for updates, support and positiveness for the project of rewriting the story (which I'm not sure I could or would want to do), and constructive criticism for potential problems that are seen and can be corrected, or modified, or even elaborated. It is not a simple project to undergo. It wasn't a a simple project to begin. Even the most skilled progammers, engineers, pilots, politicians, and all skilled professionals will at some point require help in their endeavor. Writers too. We all have our faults, our strengths, our needs, our excesses, and our desires. We each can lend a helpinghand to make things go smoother, even if it's being patient for another part to an ever expanding, ever growing, never ceasing story that ini itself evolves and drives itself to an unimagineable level. So, you have my support, and my help shold you require it at any time. I apologize if any bit has been cryptic or misleading. The second is unintentional, and the first is my way of saying certain...things that need to be said carefully. It is not meant to confuse or to seem ****y, or arrogant. We are what we are, even if it is at the bottom of the long chain. But, even a newbie has an important role to play.
