I guess not many people go to watch a live-ACTION Spiderman movie to watch ACTION, eh? That's why I went. No regrets. Gonna go see it again as soon as possible. I personally don't care for the little drama relationship junkie stuff. It's Spiderman. I went to see the guy the movie is named after. 'Nuff said.

How cute. Come on and bring your W'kar.. We'll play nice.. I promise. Actually, he might be right about no one being able to beat "Ultimate W'Kar". ...IF he even has the skills to properly use the 15-year old "God". No offense to him, but his "Ultimate W'Kar" appears to be some 12-year old's creation, made only so he'd have the 'strongest Guyver-related character'. It's really over-board and pretty stupid, in my opinion. Here's a few parts of the data-file he'd posted on theguyver.net Strength and Stamina: His strength is equal to 200,000,000 men, and his Stamina is unlimited due to his Neo Hyper Multiversal Hyper Space In-between Dimensional Link System. Terra smasher: a more powerful form of the mega smasher it powerful blast is equal to 100 terratons. Neo Hyper Multi-Versal Hyper Space Between Demensional Quatum link system: A version of a HSL that takes all pomer and energy from the multiverse and all spaces and inbetween and Quaduraples the energy. Warrior rage: this is the standard Warrior rage But increases all ability and powers 100 folds. Anti-overload: this system prevents his control metal or body from the Dehydration process or power overload. this allows him to use his ablilty even if his control metal is removed or distroyed. -Sigh.- Just... sad.

Marvel Characters vs. the Guyvers
Tyranthrax replied to Weltall2's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
That is true. It's not always the one with brute strength that wins the fight. With that example, actually, it would be a one-sided fight. I believe the only weapons a normal(Assuming it's standard Guyver 3, as you'd not put Warrior Guyver 3) Guyver has that could even hope to harm Hulk would be the vibrational blades. Even the Mega-Smashers are rated at some 10-kilotons of force, while the atom bombs dropped on Japan were in the 20-kiloton range. Not to mention Nuclear Bombs are more powerful than Atom Bombs, and Hulk has survived a ground zero nuclear explosion with NO damage at all. After a few cuts though, I think Hulk would have gotten mad enough that not even the VBs could phase him. Actually, from what I've read: # Enhanced Lung Capacity: The size and strength of the Banner's lungs, like the rest of his body, are increased when he transforms into the Hulk. On a single good inhalation of air, Hulk can last hours--perhaps even days--without needing to take another one. This makes it possible for him to spend an extended period of time in outer space, or under the ocean. The Hulk has also used his lung capacity as an offensive weapon in several instances by inhaling, and then blowing the air back out at high speeds. # Adaptation to Hostile Environments: There have been several instances in the past where Hulk has not only spent extended periods of time underwater or in oxygen-less outer space without suffocating, but he has also moved his mouth and spoken in these environments. It appears that the Hulk's body is able to adapt itself to new inhospitable environments when necessary. Like his healing factor, it is believed that this ability is also fueled by his rage and the madder the Hulk is, the quicker the Hulk's body will adapt. # Underwater Breathing: The Hulk has been seen on the ocean floor a number of times and is able to breathe due to his body developing a gland which creates an oxygenated perfluorocarbon emulsion which fills his lungs and equalizes the pressure. He is therefore able to breathe fluid and avoid decompression and nitrogen narcosis. -
Marvel Characters vs. the Guyvers

I think the ONLY way Jason could beat the Hulk is using his Matrix Bomb. Hulk has survived a ground zero nuclear explosion, and as I'd posted before, a warp core breach that's powerful enough to destroy a planet. Also remember, the ONLY reason Jason beat the Guyver Zoalord was because of the gravitational energy he got from countless Guyver and the Guyver Zoalord himself. Now, here's an excerpt from one of the Hulk's datafiles. The Hulk has shown many incredible feats of the years, including holding up a 150 billion ton mountain during the Secret Wars and breaking open Onslaught's armor when the combined might of the rest of the world's heroes couldn't even make a scratch in it. Oh; for those of you who don't know. 150 billion tons = 150 giga-tons. -
Marvel Characters vs. the Guyvers

But because of Hulk's shear physical power, even with Agito using all of his abilities, it would be an intense fight. Really, it would depend on if Agito's weapons could even significantly harm the Hulk, who's got a regenerative level that puts most, if not all Guyver, to shame. At the end of the Planet Hulk storyline, he survives the impact of a warp core breach, which generates enough force to destroy a planet. It's not always the physically strongest character that will win the fight. Unless it's Hulk we're talkin' about, because he can probably lift gigatons, if not more weight. A single punch would no doubt splatter a Guyver. Besides, from what I've read about Thor, he's managed to lift part of the Midgard Serpent's body, who's circumference is greater than Earth's, and that's before inheriting the Odin Force. But no, Guyver wouldn't 'steamroll' over most of the Marvel characters, because if they don't have ridiculously immense strength, they've got other powers that given them an advantage in battle. Also, the Mega-Smashers are really around 10-kilotons of force at max. -
If they have the power to do so, I'd say their desire not to would be to prevent another super-powerful being from existing. Letting him keep such power might corrupt him, getting rid of Anubis only for a different evil to take over.

In a straight out strength contest, Agito would have no chance. I don't think even Anubis, in his Warrior Rage state could hope to physically match Hulk. But because of Hulk's shear physical power, even with Agito using all of his abilities, it would be an intense fight. -
In the anime remake, when Guyver I and II are doing battle in the woods, Sho charges Lisker with his vibrational blade but gets his hand caught. Lisker, after telling Sho he 'failed the test', opens one of his chest plates and fires his Mega-Smasher. What I'm wondering is, did he hit Sho with it and he survived, or what? I've always felt a bit confused about that part...

Would she have the ability to power boost? Jason is only able to Power-Boost because the Matrix can allow his body to handle the extra energy. Even then, it's only for a limited amount of time.
-
That would be illogical, but I had figured something as monumental as that ending would have been a key piece that would have been mentioned from the get go.
-
Really, my 'big question' is; what did the Matrix do with Yaksha and Alexandria at the end of Diametric? I mean, I kind of expected it to at least be mentioned somewhere.

If you were pissed off at someone and tried hitting that person only to have that person constantly evading your attack would only increase your anger and frustration. Hulks case i think he'd blow his top in my opinion. XD I too doubt constantly avoiding him would make Hulk happy. >_> Instead, make Hulk mad, Hulk strong, Hulk smash. -
That actually depends on just which unit the Novantic would be equiped to. If Starfire or Nova Blaze used it, which would probably be the best choice as they're the weakest of the Novas at current, they might be in the class of Zeus. If Black Nova 2 got it, she would be quite powerful. Not to mention if Dark Nova were to acquire a Gigantic.

That is a most superb image I too must declare. It appears well planned and no doubt took a good portion of time to finish. Mortal Kombat voice: Excellent! P.S.: I've known women taller than me but this is just ridiculous!

Marvel Characters vs. the Guyvers

I'm actually not sure about a battle against Hulk. The angrier he becomes the stronger he grows; hell, I've heard before that he once managed to hold up a mountain while 'calm', which I'd say is a good deal more than even a Power-Boosted Dreadnought could lift with physical strength alone. Or how about She-Hulk. She managed to lift a 100-ton weight, with ONE arm, AND while wearing an outfit that made her WEAKER. Their ability to regenerate from damage is insane, not to mention I'm sure it would be ridiculously hard to wound them in the first place. Zeus would have to pull out ALL the stops to stand a chance. In my opinion, at least. -
Actually, the topic of this thread was Largo mentioning theguyver.net's storehouse of information, and wondering when volume 25 was coming out. As theguyver.net is dealing with the volumes and such, it was actually right on topic.

A new scientific question.....
Tyranthrax replied to Shenzon's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
Nope, never said that. I think you're confusing the references to the power down state when the CM was damaged and the WG armor reverted to a more normal Guyver like form. And we've hinted from the beginning that the WG was essentially based on the Gigantic. Since we used the Gigantic as a scale for what would be possible if the Guyver was specifically designed to be a weapon instead of accidently becoming one because of the nature of the host. I'll take your word for it, since you've said before you've helped with the fan-fictions themselves. Obviously, you'll know more than me; lucky shmuck. XD The HSL system is in the CM, it's why it can auto teleport into hyper space when in danger even if the body gets destroyed. Also why no matter how much of the body gets destroyed the HSL will continue to function as long as the CM remains intact. I see. And it's understandable that, even if contained in the CM it should be a smaller system than the Gravity Controller, but since it's newer technology that smaller economic size doesn't necessarily mean it'll be weaker. I knew those parts were glowing. =] Yes, another thing to consider is that it's one of the few common features on all Guyvers. G3 for example doesn't have the red orb at the base of his head antenna like G1 does. Along with many other physical differences between each Guyver, but the triangular protrusion are identical on each Guyver. While even the swords change shape and arrangement between Guyvers. I've always wondered just what it does. I've thought it could be some sort of heat storage so the unit could provide the needed energy for the Head Beam without having to keep the body at high temperatures. I've also thought they could be part of the Hyper Sensory system, for if I remember correctly Agito has before asked if Sho could detect something; while some of my friends have suggested it might just be him tryin' to keep Sho on his toes, I've thought that maybe his Sensors aren't as efficient as Sho's. I figure the ring formation around the GC would be designed to send a more even flow of energy throughout the unit. -
A new scientific question.....
Tyranthrax replied to Shenzon's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
To me they'd always come across as luminescent, crystalline-like layers that worked in conjunction to form the HyperSpace Link. Not quite, though mostly right, the triangle thingies are what channels the gravity energy to the rest of the body. They are what focuses and channels the gravity energy from the gravity conrol orb. I myself had always mistakenly thought they were the Gravity Gyros but now know the organs on the hips are. As for the 'triangle thingies', after I found out where the Gyros actually were, figured they were just armor. I mean, canonically nothing has been stated about their purpose or function; but if you actually think on it, the Visual Data-Files refers to the 'Gravity Control Orb' on the anatomy page as 'Gravity Controller'. That opened me up to the option they're less some additional piece but more an integral part of the GC system itself. I mean, looking on the anatomy page, they do seem to be connected in a way. As for the body crystals, it doesn't much supply an answer as the Warrior Guyvers have never been stated to possess a power amplification system like the Gigantic, but that their power boost comes from the HyperSpace Link, which, as I've mentioned before, have read that the HSL is the glowing patches of armor, notably the shoulders. I remember either notably or noticeably the shoulders were three of the exact words remarking on the subject. Now if only I could find it again. -_- And, I didn't include the rest of your post Zeo, because I've known that, but still appreciate you took the time to post it as I'm sure there are others who might not have known. -
A new scientific question.....
Tyranthrax replied to Shenzon's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
I too don't recall mention of the CPMs being located in the legs. Yeah, they are to either side of the Gravity Control Orb, but are not the triangular things. I wish I could remember where, but I've read before the HSL is represented by the glowing patches of the Warrior Guyver armor, most notably the shoulders. -
A new scientific question.....
Tyranthrax replied to Shenzon's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
The two triangular protrusions on either side of the orb is what allows the gravity field to be focused for flight. I thought it was the two 'lumps' on each hip. At least, that's what the Visual Data-File suggests. I too had thought it was the triangular things before though. The HSL's of the warrior units, is it placed through out the unit, or within the Control Medal itself? Isn't the HyperSpace Link the glowing patches laid over the Energy Compressors, Power Amplifiers, Gravity Gyros and set in the shoulder pads? I remember reading that somewhere. -
Here ya go Shenzon. That's who it's modeled after. Notice the similarities in the weapon they hold, the head crest, the three spheres on each side of the chest. I think it's pretty sweet lookin' for just bein' a slight modification to Teknoman Sabre. Edit: Then again, I do think Teknoman Sabre is pretty sweet lookin', so of course the edited image is gonna be pretty cool.

That actually looks a lot like Tekkaman from the series by the same name, just with different colors. Though the staff in his hand reminds me of the Dre'Klas Power Staff used by the Grakken. Which, in itself, reminds me of Tekkaman's staff weapon. Edit: Strike that. After lookin' up a few images on images.google.com, it looks more like a recolored version of Tekkaman's evil twin brother, and the Dre'Klas Power Staff reminds me of HIS staff weapon.

That's really not a question for this board is it? I find this an odd statement considering the General Guyver Discussion area is for general discussion of Guyver related things, such as the manga volumes... But yeah, it's true, they do have a large amount of info pertaining to the Guyver. About the Gigantes; we'll just have to see how it turns out. For all you know, it growing to gigantic proportions might end up as the coolest thing it can do. Or, it could be super, horrifically lame. The only way you can tell for sure is to wait and see.

HSL energy/Hyperspace beings
Tyranthrax replied to Weltall2's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
Then what you're saying is, long story short: the 'Hero' of the story is actually the bad guy that needs to be killed, otherwise life as we know it will cease to exist. I guess that is a pretty original idea. Have the lead character as the, final boss, so to speak.
