Even just one object flying through space close to LS or even at or above LS, will most likely explode from the force of the crunch. It doesn't very well matter if it is organic or otherwise. Take two cars facing each other. For starters, at roughly 10 MPH (yes, I'll be using the English System. Sorry), that's a fairly decent fender bender (think of it as one moving 20 MPH). Doubling that, say, a fender bender plus decent damage to the hood, grill, and possibly some components inside. Double that, you have engine damage, radiator damage, possible steering column damage. Double that and above, you're looking at a wrecked car for the most part. That's not taking into account any airbags inflating amd amy crunch bars in the car (like some foreign cars). That's simple car damage w/o breaking at speeds WAY less than an airliner in flight or pretty much any manmade thing in flight.

The red looks better. most definitely. But, you could do like Zero said as well and have the main visible MEEK, and use the other colors along with blue to indicate who they follow.

Here's part of the thing. You can go FTL. It's all about relativity. You could be going haf the speed of light in the other and an object could be going the opposite direction half the speed of light, and you'd appear to be going FTL. Again, you could be standing still and something could be going faster than light past you. Our "speeds" are based off of how fast the Earth is turning. So, if an ant is on a rotating orange turning once every minute and the ant doesn't move from it's spot, the ant's still rotating. If ant's moving as fast as the orange in the same direction, the ant's actual speed is one rotation every thirty seconds, and if the ant's moving the same speed as the orange is in the reverse direction, the ant isn't "moving", however, it is still expending energy to move in the opposite direction to remain in the same point in space, and in a way, it's still moving. But, physics plays an iportant role, just not as large. Thus, FTL also can become a reality in writing (which is more fun anyway).

Nice. Had to do the classic double take between the two to see. But, hey, *winks* the subject doesn't look MEEK. Ha ha! Oh, sorry. Not funny. Anyway, excellent, can't wait for the colored ones.

A question of bonding
Thunder Demon replied to Thunder Demon's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
What I'm asking is, can it go after a very specific DNA signature and not become active until that signature is read? -
Very nice. What more can I say?

A question of bonding
Thunder Demon replied to Thunder Demon's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
Not exactly what I meant. Let me explain: I mean one specific set of DNA even though it is dormant. Of course, their is the problem with identical twins. But for all practical purposes, no indentical twins are involved. -
This one is sort of relevant now since I'm working on something that deals with this. Is it possible for a Unit to only react with a certain DNA pattern? That is, with a single person and only that person so even if a power hungry idiot wanted to activate it, he couldn't?

Very nice. Glad you posted. So da** sentimental. But hey, I'm not complaining.

Guyver's temperature?
Thunder Demon replied to daveblackeye152's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
Also, If I remember my science right from eighth (or was it seventh?) grade, 3.9K is reached towards the middle portion of the mantle. Meaning, even a Guyver couldn't dig his way to China. -
Guyver's temperature?
Thunder Demon replied to daveblackeye152's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
Probably. Except for one thing. Absolute Zero means that not a single atom in an object is vibrating (hence part of why we have heat or lack thereof). A normal human would be long dead before reaching that point, assuming of course you could reach that point. The closest anyone has gotten is within something like a millionth of a degree, which is pretty darn close. But for the sake of argument, it might survive assuming that the Unit can withstand such extreme temperatures. -
Very enjoyable Riven. Can't wait for the third part.

Nicely done. Pastel, right? He really does looks the name.

Shoulders are too large, I agree. I mean, the name does kinda explain it away, but still...

You, uh, you gotta like, you know, stop being so dang modest. You're not sorta good. You are good.

Nah, I was tinking more of along de lines of his parents and what thye had become, did, who they were, their race, yada yada yada, etc. etc. You get the idea. Anyway, assuming his parenths had thomething to do do with hith problemth, then well, you fill in the blank.

Now that all of the bags have been passed around to contain the drool, I must say, very nice. And yes, I can't wait to see the final project in it's completed form.

Nice, very nice. On Engineering paper no less.

Hmm, a character with amnesia, having know idea of who or what he is. with unexpected twists in his life... Hey, wait, that sounds like my story! Okay, seriously, yeah, meh tinks I gots a verry good idea of de plot.

It's part skill, part experience, part know-how, and lastly, but certainly not least: pure plain and simple dumb luck. Reason being is that a very experienced person could lose to a first timer, depends on a whole load of non-mentionable factors (genetics, knacks, fears, likes/dislikes, etc. etc.) but that possibility is slim, but noticeable.

And he says" Gimme more, gimme more". I like it. (Interesting start too.)

Read The Amber Spyglass. That gives one idea for wheels, although it's not entirely all on the creature (if you can call it that). That's just my input.

I do not know about where we'd be, but it is fun to be obsessed about something, isn't it? Anyway, I propose a toast. To many more wonderful, brilliant years ahead and may the fan-fic site never die. (And let us all keep being obsessed). To the briliant work of the Admin on all levels, and keep up the good work! Seven years and still jiving. Let's make it many, many more! Okay kids, let the good times roll! *starts music in the background*
