  2. How far would you go to defend what you believe? They have so much control already, will it be too late to act? These are the things that haunt me. Would it be too bold of us to think beyond smaller problems? The things that affect everyone. The problems that are no longer part of one or two nations. The entities that are more powerful than countries, the ones behind the curtain, influencing societies, treating us like cattle for slaughter. What if we come together to think of ideas on how to solve the bigger problems? I do not mean that your causes or reasons to protest are less important. Please put your egos aside and tell me your thoughts. I guess...I am not afraid of the governments control but afraid of the ignorance of people as well .Afraid that we are losing our freedoms and before we now it, we will be in a cage. Afraid that I didn't do anything to stop it. Afraid that everyone around me believes in the lies they feed us.I am not looking for recognition or to buy a mask and be done with it. Looking forward for interesting discussions and ideas. Thanks in advance for your time

  4. illinois Passes New 'Revenge Porn' Law That Includes Harsh Penalties Posted: 12/30/2014 8:11 pm EST Updated: 4 hours ago Illinois became the latest state to criminalize "revenge porn," crafting what its creators hope will become a model for federal legislation. Gov. Pat Quinn on Monday signed a measure making the "non-consensual dissemination of private sexual images" a felony offense in Illinois. The new "revenge porn" law -- so called because the intimate photos and videos are commonly distributed by a former (and often embittered) romantic partner -- goes into effect June 1, 2015, and will punish offenders with one to three years in prison and up to a $25,000 fine. “We believe [revenge porn] is a form of sexual assault," State Representative Scott Drury (D-Highwood), one of the bill's co-sponsors, told The Huffington Post. "The harm to the victim and the way they react to it is very similar: They’re not comfortable going out in public anymore; they fear being assaulted; they could be stalked. You could be someone working at Burger King, and now you’re a sex object.†Carrie Goldberg -- a board member of the Cyber Civil Rights Initiative, which aided in the creation of the Illinois law -- said the measure should be viewed as model legislation for three key reasons: It targets not just ex-paramours, but also random hackers who aren't necessarily bent on revenge as much as creating chaos; it forces offenders to forfeit any profit they make from the images; and it actually imposes stiff penalties on offenders. 6. Just as people struggled to find a practical application for hydrogen balloons, small thinking has also plagued the development of one of today's flashiest technologies, virtual reality devices. But VR doesn't need a killer app. It just needs to be unleashed on the world, so the people tinkering with it can lead us all someplace new. 18. How long ago was that? Those sound very rewarding. We don't even get that from where I'm administrating at. If we're lucky and the 4th owner is feeling very generous and she's a great owner and senior administrator of the site. She's one of the 4 owners of the Anon forum I'm from. She paid us really well because our forum received a lot of donations. So we got a cash reward for helping around the forum that month. That isn't often though she will do that. It was considered a gratuity. Lately they've had me managing their twitter page. We have a lot forum affiliates and was gifted with the honor of being their rally mule for a few months. Hopefully I can turn the twitter page over to a more deserving member. It has been a great honor though. Sadly I'm thinking about joining the retired staff soon. I'm not as active.
  19. Well, in that sense, I agree with you. But I don't think Ryuki see's it as that. I think his considerations are leaned more towards supporting the author. Es tut mir leid, das war unhöflich von mir. Ich denke, dass es gut ist, Unterstützung zu zeigen und für das, was wir lieben, leidenschaftlich zu sein You're right. Its a she. I was looking at the profile some time ago.
  20. I suppose just for our own amusement we can settle on that word. To me a friend is some one that shares the same interest as you. They are people of common shared interests. I would like to give you my special thoughts on what I think of those friends and such a thing is better said in my favored tongue.I have something special that I want to say to you, Durendal. I like your term of friends also as enemies. Wenn Sie nichts dagegen haben, bin ich mit diesem Thema nun erledigt.
  21. Il semblerait que vous pouvez parler un peu de français. Merci pour le partage.

  25. As good as the show and the manga is. I don't see it going beyond where it is now. I think it stood out in the 90's and am glad that it got as far as it did. But with today's youth. I think that the Guyver has gotten as far as it can with today's generation. I think part of the reason is competing anime series. There is too much variety for it to become more than what it already is. I think for any anime to go far and beyond is that it needs to stand out to more individuals in other nations than just being in Japan. That being said. I don't see it making another come back. It had a good run and now it's possibly going to be yet another vintage anime/manga series for fans to sit and pray for it to some how be reborn into a new television series. I would like to add that it's time has come and gone.
