The car industry is heading for collapse.
The problem is also that various areas of the world have their own twists and turns on automotive regs/vehicle construction regs. Ford was one of the first to try and tackle this with the "world car", the 1993 Mondeo (US Contour), but the current Mondeo/Fusion is a true world car that can easily be made to suit RHD/LHD, emissions regs, all the other stuff that eff'd up similar World Car attempts. In fact, it should be noted that Holden Commodore variant built in China (Buick Park Avenue) is currently being built from knock-down kits built in Australia. But the Zeta platform is a "world car" for GM for rear wheel drive cars, just as the Opel/Vauxhall Insignia and Buick Regal is the same for FWD/AWD cars. These cars can be made easily and fairly cheaply and can be built anywhere, including in developing automotive nations such as China.

Test Subject Zoanoids
Obviously, that processing messed up something. As a lost number, Aptom already had some resistance to Zoalord control, and Barcas' reprocessing finished the job. So the mind control was somewhat faulty from the start, and Barcas unintentionally erased it completely.

The car industry is heading for collapse.
Now that's kinda bull right there! You're considered employed if you get paid the equivalent of minimum wage for one hour's worth of work. I've rarely heard anything so stupid about labor laws ever aside from areas that don't have any. The British car industry collapsed because of, in a space of time from 1968-2005, British Leyland/Austin-Rover/Rover being mismanaged and having constant strikes, being semi-nationalized, being privatized and sold to BMW who only wanted the Mini brand as their own, and now MG-Rover is owned by a Chinese conglomerate. That all being said, Ford, GM (Vauxhall), Nissan, Honda and Toyota build cars in the UK, most F1 teams are based in the UK, XTrac builds most of the gearboxes used in F1 and sportscar racing and rallying, and the Williams F1 team builds the flywheel hybrid system used in the variants of the Audi R18 e-tron quattro that have raced at Le Mans since 2012. Also, Ricardo builds parts for the Bugatti Veyron and though owned by Volkswagen Group and BMW, Bentley and Rolls-Royce still build their cars in the UK, and Aston Martin is now majority British owned by a consortium lead by Prodrive founder/owner David Richards, in conjunction with Ford, who still own 12% of Aston Martin. They still build cars and such in Britain, though a lot of the companies are under foreign ownership. As for the deal with Australia, I know that Ford wanted to kill the Falcon, and that it was them wanting to stop manufacture there that would do it. It would be replaced with the Mondeo (EU/UK version of the NA Fusion) and a RHD version of the Ford Mustang. The Holden Commodore is sold in the US as the Chevy SS, and the Buick Park Avenue is sold and built in China based off the Commodore's chassis. So that killed the Australian built Commodore. And Toyota sell a similar line up in Australia as they do in Europe and NA, so that killed Australian production. The problem is economics and that it's cheaper to import similar cars into the area than build them there.

Chernaudi's blog and random stuff...
Hi everyone. The kittens are doing fine, and I think that the all white one may be a boy, and the white and black one is a girl. I went to sleep after the NASCAR all-star race last night, and it only took the pre-race show for me to devour a pizza. That's how long it took to get the race started. I got up to make grandma her breakfast and help her out, and I got up again when my parents arrived about an hour ago. So I haven't been up to anything very interesting yet. I'll be trying for some gaming and maybe fan fic work later tonight after I'm done looking up some Audi stuff. And I might be having a pork chop dinner tonight, but that remains to be seen. I'll be back later

The car industry is heading for collapse.
Reminds me of tales of Daewoo in the UK when they didn't originally bother with an actual dealer network and they stored their cars at old airport hangars, then on runways because they sold so few. Opinion on Daewoo became so bad in the UK and EU that they took advantage of their joint venture for car making with GM that Daewoo became branded as Chevrolet in 2004. There's also a general automotive thread I started on here talking about cars, the auto industry and auto racing if you'd like to join in there. But one thing that has kept the car industry going is planned obsolesce and the fact that people want "newer and better". That is until a car becomes a classic and a collectable. Recycling and stockpiling old parts and selling them to car restorers is one thing that keeps the industry profitable.

Chernaudi's blog and random stuff...
Hi everyone. So far, my cat's had two kittens. One's all white and the other is white with black splotches on its head. With as big as she got, you'd think that she'd have had more by now. But she's tended to be kinda fat and she's probably full of milk, so I guess possibly that two is all we'll have. I worked on a little fan fic this morning after I got done with my gaming stuff and I went to sleep after I made grandma her breakfast and gave her her meds. The Pontiac is back at my father's house, where it's getting a power steering leak worked on. Hopefully we'll get it back tonight or tomorrow. I'll probably be having a pizza while watching the NASCAR race tonight. Then I might finish a PC game and work on more fan fic before working on looking up some Audi stuff starting Sunday night, and even then I'll try and do some PC gaming and fan fic writing, alternating nights for that stuff. So that's my plan for tonight. I'll be back later

My cat just had her first kitten of the litter a while ago. I'm about to check and see if she's had any more.

What's for dinner? Literally, sort of...food discussion.
My pork chops were pretty good. I still have some left over that I might eat while watching a NASCAR race tonight. Then tomorrow night, I'll be choosing between a home-made pizza and chicken nachos.

Pretty cold today for what it should be in May. It'll start warming up early next week to some pleasant temps, though.

Hi everyone. I got a good start on my next fan fic chapter and did some gaming last night. I also finally had my pork chop dinner. I woke up with a stiff neck this morning, but reading that Liana had a good show last night and the pic they posted on their FB page helped make it better. You should check out their You Tube channel when you get some time, you won't regret it Anyways, I have fan fic, gaming and some other stuff planned for tonight. Still no new kittens, but it can't be long now. I'll be back later

My Guyver and Twilight Saga crossover fic that I've hinted at
I got a good start on Chapter 12. Shizu and Jennifer (a character from Twilight that existed only in text that I incorporated into my story) are having a little girl talk, but action will pick up soon, and Lia and Camel reveal some new powers unique to them later on as well.

Ferrari 458s and Porsche 911 GT3s have been known to catch fire in recent times as well. Not something that you'd expect from plinking down 6 figures for your dream ride... And NASCAR in Japan? It indeed happened 3 times in the late '90s. Article with links to videos here: http://www.speedhunters.com/2013/09/when-east-met-west-nascar-in-japan/

Here, it's supposed to rain off and on until sometime early next week and highs might not get much above 60. Still, even now, I have the fan on because of how humid it is at home. Hopefully I'll finally have that dinner tonight, as well as catch up on fan fic and some gaming stuff.

Well, I had sausage instead, mostly because I went to sleep soon after and I didn't get back up until 10:00 this morning. I'll be eating those pork chops later tonight, though.

Hi everyone. I'm listening to some Liana right now, and they have a show tonight that I hope some videos or photos come out of. No new kittens yet, but at least we made it though the storms last night. It mostly just rained. I still haven't made my pork chop dinner. I went to bed at around 8:30 and didn't really get up until about 10:00 this morning. So that'll be a project for tonight, as well as some gaming and other stuff, like fan fic. I'll be back later

Guyver 12 part OVA and TV series camparisons or opnions
I did answer what I though was the better series, but I also felt that I had to answer to why the nudity from the OVA wouldn't fly in the TV series. Age could also be a factor, though both series appealed to teenagers. But in the manga, Mizuki said she was 16 when the events at Takishiro happened. Hence, for that reason, it could've been a censorship issue to avoid any legal issues/questioning. Age of consent in Japan is 14, but it most US states and European countries, it's 17-18 years old. So that could've been an issue as well. But I do feel that the TV series is better, because it's more "up to date" with times and technology, and it does flesh things out more and give hints at stuff later in the manga's storyline

Random thought: Eating right now and being online makes me appreciated the invention and versatility of the sandwich.

Well, as I said, this stuff will last me a couple of days once I get it made. I also like pork sausage, preferable tube bulk sausage. And I love ice cream. This is stuff that it could be supposed that I shouldn't have a lot of, but then, I do reserve the right to be happy while eating. BTW, I'm on my 2nd glass of the drink mix stuff. First it was cherry, now it's fruit punch. I also have a couple of turkey/provolone/pepper jack/pepperoni sandwiches. I ran out of the wraps last night, so I'm eating the stuff in actual sandwich form.

Guyver 12 part OVA and TV series camparisons or opnions
Sorry if I caused offense, and I did believe it was a joke. But the Mizuki being naked thing wasn't going to work in a TV series format, especially one aimed in part at America and Europe. And that does, even if not intentional, does take away from one of my favorite things about Guyver--that the women are more important than window dressing. Shizu is an ass-kicker bookworm and the sane one in her relationship with Agito, Natsuki is the brains with Tetsuro, and Mizuki represents humanity and the reason why Sho fights. But as I did say, even with that one scene edited, you don't really miss out on much. Only later in the manga with Shizu (usually in a glass tube) and Val's armor retraction ENF moments do things really get "interesting" LOL.
