As long as you're happy with your purchase its not crazy, we all have those "must have" moments every now and again

I didn't even get guyver 5's identity right Thanks anyway though Onyx , but for next time I'd still like to see some Zoalord characters drawn since we've seen two guyvers this week, be it Seraph or one of the Chronos Zoalords we haven't seen art of yet, like Zariyan, Sasha, or the Twins who discovered Sedah.

Which of the following do you think looks the best?
Zoaknight replied to Matt Bellamy's topic in Warrior Guyver Fan-Fiction
I picked yellow with blue highlights because it makes him look different from Jason's and Fiona's blue forms yet still incorporates aspects of his original Guyver 1 and Guyver Gigantic forms, another alternative may have been to make him red like his Exceed self, but yellow with blue high lights still looks epic Thanks for the link here Matt -
Sigh...."crawls into a hole to hide his embarrassment over the confusion" Regardless, all the pics look awesome , and thanks for the link Matt , sorry for the confusion

Yeah, I too think the name Guyver 2F stems from the fact her unit was essentially cloned from samples taken of the original Guyver II and then they added an F for female at the end...Honestly, I wish they'd just named her Guyver 4, much simpler and sounds better I still wonder who she really is...Old girlfriend of Lisker? Sister? Or do the two guyver 2 hosts have nothing in common beyond their units? She must have had a good reason to betray Chronos instead of continuing to serve them, and she may have sided with Guyot of all people...So its hard to say if she'll end up teaming with Sho and Aptom later or become a new enemy for them to face. And yeah, I can't picture Agito joining Chronos again either, he wants to rule the world himself not serve someone else or share it, and he's done too much damage to ever redeem himself in Chronos's eyes even if he did want to go back.

Who'd you like to see become a Guyver?
Zoaknight replied to Zoaknight's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
I honestly don't think Tetsuro is really all that fat, husky maybe but he's not really out of shape I picked Natsuki cuz it be nice to see a second female guyver and it would give her a bigger role in the story -
Beautiful work! Such fine details! Is the blue Guyver Sho's new Warrior Guyver form? And I'm guessing the pink Guyver is the Chinese agent who joined the ACTF recently? Excellent work by Sean Does Sean take commissions by any chance? Its hard to find artists who know the Guyver universe very well and have lots of experience drawing the characters and OCs based off them, etc P.S. I hope the next pic will be of Zeugma's sister Seraph, perhaps in her original master zoalord form and her modern Enforcer Kavzar Zoalord form?

I must admit I'm saddened to think that the most powerful menace in the history of the WG universe ended up being betrayed by some crazed Gen politician, just a foolish expendable pawn set up for a fall after he'd served his purpose...Kinda lessens his image as the greatest threat humanity and the Gen ever faced if that makes any sense, I was kinda hoping he'd turn on G'kor, obviously not killing him since G'kor's alive in the modern timeline but I liked the idea of G'kor over estimating his control over Reeve & getting bit in the ass for it (and then Jason comes along and cleans up the arrogant bastard's mess before it destroys the universe). Basically, what I always liked about Reeve was that he was literally the biggest mistake the Gen ever made, their worst fear realized, something that even the Manga characters feared and sought to prevent the creation of at all costs. He was the ultimate living weapon come back to bite them in the ass for all their acts of cruelty in their pursuit of power & masquerading as gods, some even going so far as to think themselves gods I imagine. So yeah, I liked the idea of G'kor's plan backfiring on him better than the Guyver Zoalord turning out to be a tool

Angel's Unit
Zoaknight replied to WarriorZoalord's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
Dude....I just realized exactly how grim Isis's future is looking if G'kor is the master of the Orange Kavzar G'kor is an evil bastard even when compared to the usual callousness of the Gen, he created the Guyver Zoalord! There is no telling what he could possibly have in mind for Isis, Jason, and the earth And yeah, if G'kor is behind the units used by Angel and Sedah he's definitely plotting something unpleasant...Perhaps trying to create something as powerful as the enforcer kavzars but more easily mass produced so he can take over the Gen empire? We only know that he and his creations aren't supposed to be on earth -
Well, you can definately have guyvers and zoanoids with projectile weapons controlled by telepathic thought, like the bio missiles used by Gaster, Kahn, Neo Zektole, and Aptom, but I'm not sure if they'd be exactly like the Fang bits from Gundamn 00 (one of my fave Gundam series btw). The fangs fly around and cut through everything they come in contact with and then return to the Gundam they were launched by, assuming they aren't shot down by the opposing Gundam of course. Zoalords can also use telekinesis or gravity attacks to throw around objects, and even Guyver Gigantic Dark could manipulate his severed leg during his battle against Barcus, Yentsui, & Waferdanos. I guess I'm saying that the "fangs" as we know them wouldn't be as effective as already existing bio projectiles we've seen in the Guyver series, biological missiles, spikes, darts, and bullets are likely all possible though. "Bio Bullet," has a nice ring to it no? :mura:

Finished reading the fully rewritten and organized parts 1 and 2 of Time War on the site, just getting into part 4 (look forward to seeing the addition of part 3 when its ready, I'm guessing it covers the battles between the Guyver Zoalord and Gen forces prior to the arrival of Jason). "spoiler alert to those who haven't read parts 1-2 yet" I really like how the story gave us a better idea of who the ancient guyvers and zoalords were and their relationships with eachother and the Gen, who in turn came across as cold blooded and cruel in their efforts to create the ultimate weapon while at other times were as human as us, like Solom's shame over what happened to Daye, his love for his wife Ananke, or Krullnar's secret love for Zeugma. Hell, even Eve's and G'kor's actions show the most decidedly dark side of the Gen, with G'kor going to the extreme and coming across as outright insane...Still can't believe Reeve actually LISTENS to G'kor even after becoming the Guyver Zoalord (not very Guyver like behavior, lol), and I can't begin to imagine what G'kor has to gain from basically jump starting Armageddon for his entire race Long story short, this new version of Time Wars just keeps getting more and more interesting and makes you wonder what the future has planned for those of the characters who survive into modern times. Zeugma, Krullnar, Solufein, Seraph, Faye, G'kor...All survivors from those times, all with roles still to play. I'm especially interested in Zeugma, Krullnar, and Seraph. In the original stories no creator came to Zeugma's aid when she awoke in modern times, so I just assumed Krullnar didn't give a rats ass about her anymore since the Zoalords were no longer part of the Gen empire and they had no need of her, but could it be he didn't recognize his first crush's call? It would be interesting if Krull came to her aid someday unless his many millenniums of life has hardened his heart towards his old feelings for her (though the fact he's favored Seraph after all this time may be a sign he's not completely emotionally detached). Seraph maybe Zeugma's sister but she was apparently always the most obedient of the two so even if the two sisters met again it may not be a warm family reunion, she is somesort of Kavzar now afterall and likely wouldn't cross paths with her big sis unless it were on Gen business or something. Oh, and Reeve, loved getting a clearer picture of what sort of guy he was prior to his transformation into the Guyver Zoalord I also liked the scenes where we saw Atlantis and other ancient civilizations, Solifein's battle with Kron was especially cool, as were the many Guyver fights testing out the prototype units.
-
Hhhmmm....Maybe a more even fight would be BGD vs Black Nova or Angel? Plenty of other massively powerful guyvers out there besides Jason and W'kar afterall, but I see your point about Enforcer Prime having WAY more experience, in that regard Prime has the edge over most other bio boosted beings on earth.

I too am curious as to how losing to Sho would affect Agito's psyche, we've already seen how shaken he was by Sho successfully cutting him off from the original Gigantic cocoon, but I can't imagine how literally losing to Sho in mortal combat would affect him. He always thought of Sho as inferior to himself, a weak willed man that he could use and discard whenever he pleased, but in the end Sho's will proved stronger than his own and he took back the cocoon. This battle is all about Agito's pride and ego, proving to himself that he's top dog as well as taking out the only other Guyver with a Gigantic upgrade besides himself. If Agito loses this battle, it could quite possibly SHATTER his mind, or at least push him off the deep end into genuine insanity...Assuming no one kills him of course, Sho may show mercy even after beating him, but I can easily picture a Chronos agent picking a weakened Guyver 3 off after the battle as soon as Sho's out of sight (or even while Sho's still there, plenty of zoanoids with stealth or sniping abilities I'm sure, and a Zoalord would be a worthy foe for Sho even if he wasn't already exhausted from fighting Gigantic Dark). Then there is Shizu...We saw in the anime series, which Yoshiki Takaya himself helped with, that without Agito Shizu just LOST IT, kinda broke down and lost touch with reality. If Agito somehow dies by the end of this battle or shortly after how will she react? Will she become all vengeful and carry out his will even in death or would she make peace with Sho and company? Or just plain lose her mind entirely? It might take Shizu some time to get to Agito if he ends up needing backup (he can't communicate with her over long distances either since he's a guyver and she's a Zoalord, and I didn't see anysort of communication device on him...), unless she can actually teleport like other zoalords (haven't seen evidence of it just yet I think). And Sho would be able to sense if he had any lying in wait at their battle ground, but I agree that Agito wouldn't hesitate to fight dirty if things were going badly... I also wonder about the Aptom vs Libertus battle, this could be the first instance in which we see the Libertus totally outclassed by a superior zoaform, but their numbers should keep Aptom busy for a while at least. I guess it all comes down to whether Agito gave his zoatroopers somesort of defense against Aptom or if he's just sacrificing them for the sole purpose of keeping Aptom out of his way while he deals with Sho, not caring if they win or lose as long as he's able to defeat Sho before Aptom gets a chance to interfere.

Okay, cool! Thanks for the info Sully, we all look forward to what you cook up next after the rewrites : Now here's a challenging matchup, Black Guyver Derzerb vs Enforcer Prime...What say ye all?

Fanmade WG universe Hyper Zoanoid data file: Genofury
Zoaknight replied to Zoaknight's topic in Fan Fiction
Sorry for taking forever to reply back , real life stuff keeping me busy Anywho, I like your ideas for the armor, but I find it hard to imagine that Chronos would develop the HV armor for a zoanoid and not implement it for its entire body, or specifically just for its arms. As for the HV spikes, ya mean like weapons designed for stabbing through armor and blocking HV blades rather than cutting? My idea for the Inferno Grenade is that it would appear as a massive burning blast of spherical energy and go BOOM once it impacts with the target, so I guess it charges and fires like a Black Hole attack but vaporizes ya like a big ass bomb. Good points about how its written and the ideas for the regenerative capabilities/limits of the zoanoid in question, and I TOTALLY appreciate the advice and feedback McAvoy, I'm still new to datafile making so I don't mind hearing the thoughts and ideas of other fans. And if I find the time to remake this datafile or something similar I'll be sure to post it in the writing section instead next time around if thats the proper place for these. Thanks again! -
Who ya rooting for to win? I'm rooting for Sho of course, Agito's been in need of an ass kicking for a LONG time

THIS is a fun topic so I decided to return to it in more detail , now let me see.... 1) Post Genocide: I would have killed Anubis while he slept. I realize he was a good man once, crazy but good, but the threat he posed to the rest of the universe was just too great to keep him alive, the damage to his mind incurable and his unit impossible to remove (even his friends must have privately realized this to be true, but couldn't let him go). I realize its kinda pointless to say all this now since we already know what happened, but I guess if it were possible to go back in time and prevent his awakening and the chain of events that followed...WAY too many good people died because of his escape, and we all know that another version of W'kar, the crazy but for the most part benevolent W'kar who cared about his loved ones, is still alive in Jason's universe & looking for a way back, so they would have gotten their lovable warmonger back eventually 2) After Anubis Escapes: Well, since Anubis was at his weakest after he first awoke it probably makes the most sense to go after him then and there with as much firepower as you could muster, guyvers, zoanoids, attack ships, the works...I realize even then he was a force to be reckoned with but the AAR was in much better shape back then then it is now and might have been able to do something about him if they'd all worked together and just PUMMELED his crimson ass before he got a chance to build his army and become the god like being he is now. And yes, I would have contacted the Advents, better to deal with the devil you know than the devil you don't, their firepower combined with the AAR's might have been exactly what they needed to finish Anubis, hell, they may have even been able to figure out a way to remove and dispose of his unit (they'd have to watch the advents closely of course, but overall they were much more manageable foes than Anubis) 3) Present Time: Oh boy, the present day situation with the AAR is the toughest to deal with since they've lost so much & don't have a heavy hitter capable of handling Anubis, heck, most of their heavy hitters are either dead or can only handle his generals. However, I guess I'd start with developing and mass producing new, more powerful Zoalord forms, the AAR's guyvers don't fair well against Lycanlords and their zoaforms have been in need of upgrading for a while. Albass and Xextel are like the only two Zoalords who can face the Order's generals, the Twelve Supreme Zoalords are either dead or outdated compared to the Zoagods...Albass basically needs her OWN Council of Twelve with new and improved Zoalord forms strong enough to fight a General of Anubis on a level playing field and with better troops to command (specially designed for Anti-Lycanlord combat, or at least with more advanced features to better their odds against them), something which may very well be possible with the aid of those two advents who joined them recently, maybe somesort of amalgam between Jytaki & Zoagod/Zoalord tech. Also, I'm guessing its not possible to save any of the W'kar reproductions that were lost recently right? Since this is a matter concerning the current situation in the war....Was Ninja W'kar amongst the casualties? I liked her, she had great potential as a character Anywho, the last tactic I can think of besides developing better troops and commanders would be to convince Albass to bond with the most advanced Guyver unit available to the AAR and become a Guyver Zoalord, the only being in existence which could absolutely SLAUGHTER the Order's Generals and give Anubis a run for his money. If Albass dislikes the thought of all that power the unit can always be removed after the threat of Anubis is gone forever, and in all honesty its the only way they could turn the tide right away and give themselves some breathing room to strengthen their forces (even Anubis would be more wary of the AAR if they had a Guyver Zoalord capable of matching his power).

Yo, not sure if this topic has been brought up before or not, but I figure its one worthy of serious, and entertaining , debate The Zoalord Griselda, AKA Shizu, is the commander of Agito's Libertus forces, who are programmed to respond only to her telepathic commands even when faced with the most powerful psychic in Chronos next to Arcanfel, Dr. Barcus. However, the real question is, what would happen if Arcanfel himself appeared before Griselda? Would Arcanfel be able to seize control of her zoanoids & turn them against her and Agito? Or even worse, could Arcanfel seize control of Griselda's mind the same way he did Murakami/Imakuram? Obviously Arcanfel is sleeping now but he will awaken sooner or later and I can't help but wonder if Agito's zoanoid forces would prove helpless against the mental prowess of the most powerful zoalord on earth...What say ye all?
-
Well, I'm not saying that she'll be on par with Jason or anything, she doesn't have a Gigantic upgrade afterall (and little experience with the use of her guyver unit for now at least), but she could conceivably possess the same level of power and abilities as Jason while he's in his normal, Matrix Warrior Guyver form. If not, she'll at least be more advanced/powerful than a normal warrior guyver unit since she has matrix parts inside her. She'll definitely get a brain-boost since thats the one special ability afforded to her by her optimization as a zoanoid, allowing her to advance Chronos tech a few years ahead of schedule I imagine...Perhaps she could optimize her body to a more advanced state like Jason has been theorized to be able to do, but won't because he wishes to remain human? Thats just a bit of guess work there, might be pushing the realm of possibility, the brain boost is the only thing certain at this point.
-
Agreed, Natasha's revenge against Aptom will be MUCH easier and more achievable if she remains a loyal subject of Chronos and has access to all the technology and resources they provide to her, she's Dr. Valkus's top assistant afterall, and with the Matrix Warrior Guyver unit at her disposal there's no telling how much more intelligent she'll become, since her zoanoid ability is super intellect if I recall, we're talking major brain boost plus warrior guyver level strength (don't know if its standard warrior guyver strength or more advanced like Fae's though). Once she recovers I imagine she'll go hard to work studying all the advanced new features of the various new guyvers and enhanced Zoalords and figure out how to incorporate such tech into their zoaforms, perhaps even overcome the difficulties they've had with implementing Biolord technology to their higher ups...The Eliminator will be of great interest to her especially I'll bet, imagine what Chronos could do if they could copy some of its tech or find a way to make more...
-
Oh yeah! I COMPLETELY forgot about Warrior Guyver Thancrus Warrior Guyver Vamore, Warrior Guyver Thancrus, and Black Guyver Derzerb....Quite a fearsome trio , team of six actually if ya count Natasha, Guyver Zoanoid, and Guyver Powered Zerebubuse (Chronos has a fair number of Guyver zoanoids now) So Thancrus would be their high speed melee combatant.
-
Black Guyver Derzerb and Warrior Guyver Vamore could serve the same lethal combination as well as a team, plus neither of them would possess the extinction device or power limiter.
-
Well, I hope he'll be a lasting character since Powered Zerebubuse is likely gonna bite the dust sooner or later with that extinction device of his and since the good guys have so many powerful new units Chronos will need new heavy hitters to remain a viable threat. Now we just need to wait and see how powerful Alkanphel's new form is gonna be...Something tells me he's gonna once again appear like a god like being compared to the rest of his troops after he emerges from the cocoon :mura:
-
Cool, I like that theory as well Sully and I LOVE the idea of Imakuram being upgraded to the point he's second in power only to Alkanphel himself (he's always been one of my fave characters from the comic/anime so I'm happy to learn he's gonna have the power to back up his leadership abilities at long last) :mura: Will his Zoalord form remain more or less the same or is he gonna be made into one of the two different types of Biolords during the rewrite?
-
I thought W'kar DID have limited stamina, meaning he has ALOT of stamina and endurance but doesn't have unlimited stamina like a warrior guyver. Am I wrong? Derzerb is definitely not the fastest zoanoid, BUT, the guyver unit should still greatly enhance his speed and agility, especially if he uses his gravity controller (things he'll likely learn as he gets used to his unit). No idea how he compares to other stronger guyvers or even zoalords in terms of speed, but he's certainly not a slowpoke anymore (but WILL have to learn how to get used to all his new abilities of course, lol). He's used to being a lumbering brute not a high speed combatant
