  1. The plasma rail gun, yeah that one did some real damage. Especially if the soldiers were lined up. Good for snipping too with the zoomed view feature. Though the Rocket Launcher seems the most powerful of the weapons available.
  2. Okay, who's played this FPS game yet? Personally I thought it was pretty cool. The graphics are amazing, though the explorations is a bit linear.
  3. One exception though was the second battle with Aptom, Sho willed the mega Smashers open since he couldn't use his hands which had been damaged with acid. This was an act of will of the host. It should also be considered that the Unit can't be creative so the host can use more advance tactics than the unit is capable of doing in self defense mode. But the question of the topic is more on human limits than Guyver limits. So does anyone else have any other factors of human physical limits to discuss what humans are capable of so we can have a better picture to compare with both zoaforms and the Guyvers with?
  4. The Chronicle re-write of Union is nearly complete. . . With all the changes you may have noted for the characters so far in Chronicles and the acknowledgement that power scales will be adjusted in Chronicles to take into account the official translated abilities of the Gigantic Guyver. Then what do you think would be done to the Warrior Guyver? Feel free to speculate about the WG2 unit as well.
  5. It should be noted that Agito is near perfect physical conditioning in the new anime. Along with the scenes showing him doing gymnastics he has also been shown doing one hand stand push ups, supporting his full weight with one arm and doing push ups in that position. These are excersize regiments you would expect for someone like Batman to be doing. So it would be most interesting to compare how G3 performs in battle along side G1 and see if all that excersizing gives him an edge or not. Other things to keep note of is the show is finally showing the other Zoalords and we can finally see some of their attacks animated for better analysis on what they are capable of. Suprisingly though the last few episodes are virtually identical to the Manga so we may expect them to follow the known story line from here on out. So it should be very interesting once we get to the Gigantic Guyver. Thoughts anyone?
  6. Been three weeks so far and Drag still hasn't gotten any news about the domain name. It's been two weeks since the company responsible sent an e-mail that they'll check into it. So it looks like they are giving him the run around. So for now everyone update your links to the http://www.theguyver.co.uk domain.
  7. Subs are available up to episode 4, just look for sub under those file names. After that you'll have to look for .srt files, which you might need a special player since that is basically a text file that can be played along with the video to provide the sub. We can't give you more information than that on the board. If anyone has more specific information for Mad_W'Kar please send it directly to him.
  8. Nah, I think it's just some pathetic loser who has nothing better to do than plant their callsigns on as many websites as he/she can. Just to satisfy some egotistical fantasy of theirs that has nothing to do with reality. I once saw this female hacker on a documentary on hackers and her excuse was anyone who can be hacked deserved to be hacked. It's like saying someone who got run over by a drunk driver deserved it. These people must be brain damaged or something. They simply can't think of anyone but themselves, which simply makes them even more pathetic. So don't worry Weltall2, people like that get theirs eventually. You can't escape bad Karma like that. They'll either wind up in jail or something worse by crossing the wrong person at the wrong time.
  9. And he did it again today Though it's amazing the lack of creativity with these hackers. All he does is wipe the board and put up his callsign. That's about as creative as your local street punk who spray paints his name on a wall for the heck of it. What a total loser.
  10. Well, remember Alkanphel is dying so he may not be capable of using anywhere near his original maximum power. Also the Giga Smashers are 100x a normal Smashers and all that energy is focused into a single directional blast that is far more likely to penetrate his defenses. Plus the two Guyvers can tag team to hit him at least twice with the Giga Smashers. As to the moon, it was spherical looking like our own moon which suggests it was large enough during its formation for its own gravity to effect its shape. Otherwise it should have been mishapen like most asteroids. A good online resource for calculating various factors are the online calculators on StarDestroyer.net Here's some direct links: Planetary Parameter Calculator Stellar Radiation Calculator Relativity Calculator Asteroid Destruction Calculator Nuclear Weapon Effects Calculator Another thing to consider is Zoalords are capable of attacks far beyond their normal ability by using all their power all at once. Like Guyot using up all his gravity points to create a black hole. It is said if he had put enough energy into that attack he could have created a true black hole which would have destroyed the whole planet. And of course that means Guyot was powerful enough to destroy a moon himself. Along with Imakirum who can also create a black hole attack, though his energy reserves seem to be Greater than Guyot's since he wasn't completely exhausted by using that attack. Similarly though the Gigantic Smashers use up so much energy that it causes the Gigantic to auto deactivate moments after firing a full discharge but the resulting attack is 100x a normal Smashers. So it could be Alkanphel was once capable of a similar feat and focused all his power to produce an attack far beyond his normal power level. A bit of clarification is that the 40x Alkanphel is only our estimate of a fully healed Alkanphel. The present Warrior Alkanphel is only about 32x but is expected to be fully healed eventually by the unit. So, so far only the Alkanphel in the Strange World fic has demonstrated the full 40x power, which made him powerful enough to take on Dreadnought. The Alkanphel in GWOTG was never fully healed. We actually placed the present dying Alkanphel at somewhere just above 4x. Though he is still capable of some amazing feats, like when Imakirum was defeated by Gigantic Dark he piloted the Ark, which normally requires the power of all 12 Zoalords, all by himself and used its power to restore Imakirum's power. Though the strain did exhaust him. So I would suggest not comparing to Alkanphels moon destroying attack since that attack could be far beyond any present characters ability.
  11. We've fixed it but we got hacked twice today. Unfortunately we could only restore to about two weeks ago so anything since then has been lost.
  12. No prob, but 100 Gigatons is a lot of energy and anywhere near Earth. Say up to the orbit of the Moon, would be too close since the effect on the atmosphere can still be significant, not to mention generating an EMP effect. Especially if he has to use multiple blasts. The Creator ships themselves can park themselves in high Earth orbit just like the Ark. So they can get too close for Dread to use the Matrix Bomb without falling into its gravity well. Interesting possibilities though... But I think you'll be surprised by what we plan to do
  13. It's an energy drink, so it's going to be a concoction of good for you type stuff. Though not necessarily good for you all at once mind you
  14. Actually the Matrix Bomb is a Zero Point Energy weapon, so most of its power comes from space itself. The reason it takes time is mainly because of the shield itself takes time to set up. But it does have a down side since it is an omni-directional blast. So he can't use it near Earth or risk causing global damage. As for the Tsunami Wave, that would only work if Jason wanted to kill Greg since that too has a down side since the energy strain is enough to cause him to revert to his pre-matrix WG state and if he missed for any reason that would have meant he would surely have lost to W'Kar.
  15. Sure, if no one else helps you just PM me.
  16. Actually that was what he was afraid might happen, which is why he's doing the impronptu transfer since site stealers work fast.
  17. He's transfering the domain name, which means the address stays the same. He's just switching servers to another company provider. The transition is what causes the missing site problem. Though it seems the problem is back so he's probably doing some more transfering.
  18. All is solved, he was just transfering his domain name.
  19. A little something those of you going to college might consider a survival gadget, Food Made Easy: Toastabags And another possible must have, Fundue - desktop USB Fondue Set Along with possible hobbies , like Project Air Guitar, and The Television Interactive Snowboarding Simulator One step closer to that Bionic limb you always wanted , The Cyberhand And for those who want the perfect buttered toast all the time, The ButterWizard Oh, and would you believer, The Voice-Activated R2-D2
  20. Hmm, it appears we may all be able to purchase our potions for real soon. Due to be released about the same time as FFXII will be a new energy drink concoction called, you guessed it, "Potion" Final Fantasy Potion Unvieled
  21. You tell me Poor Dreadnought, he's so misunderstood. Btw, except for the Gigantic we aren't really portraying the Guyvers as being any more powerful than before. Everything shown so far matches up to what has been shown in the Manga. Like the fight with Zerebubuth, inexperienced Sean got badly beaten but experienced Sho handedly defeated Zerebubuth. The cracking of its armor did happen in the Manga, by G1 no less, so we know a Guyver is capable of doing that when they go full out.
  22. Just like a PDA, one letter at a time. A bit slow, but it works and I can do it from anywhere I can get a wi-fi connection. They even got a accessory device, Sony's LocationFree, you can get for about $350 that will stream Video/TV to your PSP through wi-fi. Not to mention Tivo.
  23. My new PSP is so much fun, I decided to post this on the board using it. Yes, PSP's can surf the web and even this board through its wi-fi connection. Cool huh?
  24. Maxell Releases Holographic Storage Medium with 1.6 TB capacity (That's like 63 DVD's) and a transfer rate of 120 MBPS (That's Megabytes Per Second), which means these things could replace hard drives! CoverBuddy is a new app that you can purchase for $19.95 that will let you use your PSP with a wi-fi connection to browse your itunes wirelessly. Mac OS X only so far but you know a windows version won't be far off. FAQ: Behind TiVo's play for iPod, PSP Hauppauge Digital 'TV Stick' For those who like their TV on the go, nice options as well like DVR functionality depending on the capabilities of your computer.
  25. Possibly, but remember W'Kars aren't Guyvers. They are based on very different technology. The W'Kar CM was originally only to contain the W'Kar element and only became more like a Guyver CM for the later reproduction models. Consider for example the application of the Mark II tech may have made Fighter more powerful but it also made him incapable of evolving anymore. Similarly merging him with a Matrix may have its own cost/benefit possibilities.
