Ryuki,who has done anything more than you?? it doesnt make sense why the Guyver hasnt been picked up for publishing, maybe the difficulties chuang yi had with kadokowa extended to the native english speaking / reading countries companies aswell???? @ VOTING i think its pointless to have a vote.. we either have a version everyone can access or we dont, the site hosts a stealable version or it doesnt to have a release everyone can access we need to do the html pages, BUT ALSO if we want to keep it private we could have a scanlation accessible to trusted members and if we see fit release a watermarked version. when i say watermark, really i mean a ruined version, with a MASSIVE SIGN PLASTERED on it that you can't even see through that just makes it impossible to read the manga at all, you can barley see the panels because JAPAN-LEGEND.COM is plastered all over it. the point in this ?? - to piss everyone else off and discourage them from even bothering in stealing that version... childish? yes. fun for us? yes. force them to come to JL for the html version? yes. at the end of the day i dont mind what happens as long as the advocacy continues and i / we can continue to understand the guyver story in english. i unashamedly vote for scanlations but to fulfill the requirements of the advocacy i dont see another solution other than the html.

I don't agree with watermarks, I agree with the reasoning behind it and i am pleased with the ideas people are providing, but I do not want to give these sites any quarter. I would like to call an end to scanlating in the way that we have been doing. I want to make it very clear, I do not want any images produced by guyver advovcacy that can be ripped off and merely re-posted to a manga aggregation site. I have an idea that i wish to go with. my proposal is a HTML coded scanlation. the page would feature the original japanese image. when the user floats the mouse pointer over the dialogue bubble, the english text would be displayed. there would be no image for manga sites to take and repost. this means that people who like to save the manga on their hard drive, would have no way of doing this, apart from saving the html page itself. but this is far better than having no guyver advocacy at all. edit: Durendal sorry to suggest that you didn't care, I was more hoping to say that you don't make a big deal out of it recently, pretty much what you said
