June 27, 20169 yr I was looking at he two versions and it looks like the pink version has a damaged control medal. It could be just the moulds or the picture may look that way.
June 27, 20169 yr I'm sure it is deliberate. They would have to rework the figures to make it worth buying both. So individual differences will have been added. I'll have to look over the manga and see if it is accurate.
June 27, 20169 yr It is deliberate. The movie version was a damaged one and the manga version is a faux medal created by Chronos.
June 27, 20169 yr So which one does she actually use. The pink one or purple one. I am sort of new to the female Guyver user, Valkyria. There are movies? I only knew of the anime and manga. Edited June 27, 20169 yr by Apollyon

I only knew of the anime and manga. There is an older OAV/Movie called "Out of Control" and it is an alternate timeline OAV where there is a woman inspector named "Valcuria" ( or Valkyrie depending on some translations) who got the damaged unit instead. The animation quality is pretty poor... As it was made only shortly after the Guyver was being published, and doesn't seem to have much of a budget. About the only thing it is notorious for is the bonding scene of Valcuria, as the unit get a little "tentacle rapey" (Where the Animation quality is oddly well done...) But as a Guyver fan, it is still worth watching, despite the quality and its original plot. As for the differences... The pink one is the manga version, and the Purple one is the OAV version... Which seems like her control medal isn't damaged, so good for her!

There's a lot of very tiny differences that suggest either extensive tiny reworking (quite doable with CAD but somewhat pointless) or an entirely new mould.
