The Generation 1 Transformers comic starts in the Marvel universe. Symbiote-enhanced Spider-Man has a run-in with Megatron whilst rescuing a hostage (1), and the Dinobots' Earth forms are informed by an expedition to the Savage Land (2). As well as guest appearances from Marvel superheroes, TFG1 introduced a team called the Neo-Knights, led by Circuit Breaker (3), whose battlesuit conferred on her Magneto-style abilities of such magnitude she could cripple Unicron, a literal god (4). If we take into account the content produced by Marvel UK, TFG1 also added to the Marvel pantheon Death's Head, a robot freelance peacekeeping agent (never call him a bounty hunter). His accomplishments include assassinating the Decepticon leader, Shockwave; fighting Unicron in the astral plane and destroying his mortal remains; and surviving a duel with Galvatron. He was scaled down into the Marvel universe in a chance encounter with The Doctor (5); both he and Circuit Breaker remain Marvel properties. A few years ago, the TFG1 storyline was picked back up, under the title Regeneration One. In the twenty-one year publication gap, Megatron conquers Earth and drives humanity into an underground resistance movement. Megatron's Decepticon army has been lobotomised to ensure obedience. Now, this series was not a Marvel publication, however Circuit Breaker's tech is still in use, and in the accounts of the fall of Earth, there's not even an allusion to super-powered individuals even slowing down the invasion. A narrative exists, therefore, in which an Earth that is defended by the Avengers, the X-Men, and Doctor Who, (and G.I. Joe, aheh) with all their adversaries present and with an obvious interest in uniting, and are all defeated by mindless Cybertronian zombies. Cybertronian tech is very different to the Uranus, and it's difficult to gauge Megatron's power relative to a Zoalord (Though could possibly take on Draglord - he does have a high-risk black hole attack), but if there's a conceivable timeline where Magneto fails to smash their scissors with his rock after being briefed by The Doctor, one can envisage a timeline where Archanfel defeats Dr Strange and Thor and The Hulk. Why, there's even a 'What If…' story titled 'The Punisher Kills The Marvel Universe'. If Uatu the Watcher has seen that come to pass, it's not hard to imagine Chronos overcoming S.H.I.E.L.D. The viability of Chronos actually winning kind of depends on what era they try to take over. The power levels of heroes have been up and down over the decades,(especially in DC, but Marvel too) but probably the best era for it, would probably be now, since they have definitely made efforts to try and bring some of the powers down to more believable levels. Essentially it boils down to if the majority of heroes are strong enough to handle Hyper Zoanoids. Let's start with SHIELD. They are mostly humans with weapons. Sometimes powerful laser weapons, but seems to be more recently very normal-ish weapons. Nothing to spectacular. And since Chronos would have Zoanoids infiltrated into SHIELD, they could cripple them pretty well. Most of the "human" heroes probably could not either, unless they get a lucky shot, or someone like Stark or Richards made super advanced weapons. Then you have your "medium" heroes... Ones that could barely life a car, or have minor energy projection ect... They probably could handle some regular types, but probably not hypers, which sometimes survive tank rounds. With the "Super Powered" Heroes, I doubt a single Hyoer would do much, but perhaps if they gang up... But for the top tier of Heroes, the Zoalords might need to step in. With any "Cosmic" or "God" tier Heroes/Villains... Well they would definitely give Chronos trouble. Probably only one of the two classes that might really give Chronos trouble. The final tier is something that doesn't exist at all in the Guyver universe... Magic. Chronos probably does not have any defense or knowledge of it, and most likely would be a big weakness. All that aside, this assumes that it is the Chronos we know coming into the Marvel universe. If Chronos was built and started within the Marvel universe, X-Day is even MORE viable, because they would have Super people of their own, and quite likely people who can counter magic... Not to mention the good old tactics of putting Zoanoid agents into strategic roles around the world... Or even the scariest... Using the X gene to create even more powerful Zoanoids or Zoalords.
