*PrimalNemesis Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 So how would our Bio-Boosting hero fair in the necromorph ridden universe of Dead Space? Let's hear what our Guyver experts have to say! Quote
oogeej Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Doesn't that series have a lot of screwy gravity in it? I'm sure Guyver's anti-gravity would make this moot but I think the Guyver would benefit from Gecko-like feet treads. Rapid regeneration is always a handy skill to have in a monster infestation too. Guest Jupiter Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 I'm not sure I'd want to be in that situation, Dead Space, even with a Guyver Unit. Quote
Larz Zahn Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 He would be ok, but everyone else would be in trouble. Probably still have no survivors. Quote
LordSpleach Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 It's simple. Sho Fukamachi Wins! Flawless Victory! Fatality! Quote
Guest Jupiter Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Guyver and Dead Space would be pretty hard core. It would have a multi kill complex. Be something like this. http://youtu.be/g2wD5TaMf2k Quote
*PrimalNemesis Posted May 1, 2014 Author Posted May 1, 2014 But could the guyver unit protect it's host from the influence of the markers? Quote
Tallon Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 I think it can. Remember The Guyver unit freed the host from the creators, and the marker was created by aliens. Who's to say that it wasn't created by the creators to begin with. So with that logic it could theoretically protect the host from the influences of the marker. Also if you knew where the marker is.....Guyver Gigantic Exceed Giga-Smasher....problem solved. Quote
*V Guyver Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Guyver is too versatile. He's strong enough to tear some of those horrific beings bare handed. Still, I think if Sho at the start of Guyver was thrown in there, he would of had panic attacks and been scared almost to death. 2 Quote
Larz Zahn Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Ya know if he just got thrown into the middle if the story with no warning, he would be his worst enemy. Most of his ranged weaponry would be powerful enough to peirce the hull. Imagine the chaos that would cause. Quote
LordSpleach Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 True, but it would be interesting to see how long a Guyver would last in space. Quote
*Chernaudi Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 Well, I did in the past ask how well Guyver characters would do in the realm of Twilight... But I think it's a fair point to say that the Guyver units were designed to function in space, but that was with aliens, and not humans. How Guyvers work with humans in space is sort of an unknown, unless we know how close in Guyver canon that humans are related to aliens. Quote
