Thanks for sharing!! I've bitten the bullet and just ordered the Impact Gray Ver. from Nippon-Yassan for £12.96 including shipping! I think the concrete effect is more fitting with Guyver than the earth..........but I may get the beige one from amiami another time......

 

Now to track down the stands.....Looks like they got a re-release this month. Is this the right one? http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10111431 If so I'm hoping they get some extra stock in today!!

nice one dude!    I remember , it was 1994... back then everything seemed so simple and all we had were these things called ''videos'' , they were Â£5.99 a tape each month - ah, what a year it was! Personally I'd just really pleased to see any more characters from this line!! Looking at how Berserk has 5 figures now (Guts, Griffiths, Guts Berserker Ver, Guts Band of Hawk Ver, Casca) as does SNK (Armin, Eren, Mikasa, Levi & Levi Cleaning Ver.) I'm really hopeful we'll see more Guyvers!!

The only problem, is that the former series both have recent anime adaptions...........but so far there has been no news of a Guyver anime reboot!! Although I really hope there is!!

If you base it solely on recent manga characters though, I think our best candidate for the next Figma is either Guyver IIF or Aptom Omega Blast!! How I would die for a figure of him:

Sadly though, we're probably more likely just to get another Guyver III

I think Guyver 2 and 3 will eventually be made. And maybe Aptom. Like you said hopefully the Omega blast form. As far as Zoalords and the Gigantic Guyvers I doubt they'll be made. But I hope I'm wrong.

Yeah, judging by the general scale of the Figma line, I think it's unlikely we'll see it expand to anything more than the guyver units, and maybe aptom (although apollyon would be amazing!)

On a separate note, I was lucky enough to snag the one set of the Stage ACT.4's from HobbySearch for just 1,105 yen when they re-opened reservations today! Looks like it was the only one! Also, after finding the below picture I decided to go for the beige IMPACT EFFECT as well, since they look amazing together!!

I will most certainly display my Guyver I like this!! Only thing is, I'm not sure how they are using 4 arms on one base.....unless this isn't the ACT.4, since I think it only has 3 holes?? Anyone able to confirm which base this is, and whether arm extensions are being used?

I wish they would just do recent manga events aswell.  

 

the dream would be... Guyver 3, Guyver 2f, Aptom omega blast, Apollyon, and a playset of the holiday home next to the pyramid with a sleeping Archanfel inside it - seeing as that's all hes done for a while!

with the Stage Act 4 you will quickly discover - especially with a set up like that, that they don't go very far, as you only get 3 adjustable arms (+ 3 stationary but pretty useless apart from just holding figure in a standard pose)

on the bottom of the effects base it has 2 different sized holes in various places,for the two different sized pegs on the act 4 arms. ...

you should be able to do that pose but you'll probably have to balance the guyver in place if you only have 3 stage act arms

Pretty sure some of those arms are plugged into the Impact effect rather than an Act-4 base.

Awesome!! Amiami got the ACT.4 stage in stock and just put up an extra 7.

 

I just placed an order for 1 and the beige IMPACT EFFECT. So now I have both Gray and Beige IMPACTS and an ACT.4 stage set coming down for around £30.

 

I was tempted to buy an extra ACT.4 set, but since they have 6 more in stock I'll wait until the end of the month as I already have another pre-order that I can combine it with. It's only the arms I need really..........not sure what I'd do with 6 stands!! haha

 

Now I'm wondering whether the BURNING FLAME effects are worth getting............I think I'd rather hold out for the Explosion set! They look amazing!!

bought one of these ages ago, comes with three extra shorter arms (6 arms in total)and three extensions, figured it was pretty good value, i'll get to use it when the new figure is released.

Wow!! Awesome!! Those blasts would make for an awesome megasmasher pose!! Just ordered myself one from amiami for 1,490 yen!! They look awesome with Vegeta!

So now I've got coming:

2 x Stage ACT.4

1 x Beige Impact

1 x Grey Impact

1 x Saint Seiya Special Display Stage

These should make for a sweet Guyver display when I get the figma!! Now to decide whether I want to get the flame effects......I guess thats more than enough for now though!!

I actually just pre-ordered mine from Big Bad Toy Store yesterday.

So I think I went a bit mad with the Tamashi Stages.......I saw Amimi put them back up for order, so I snagged another 3!

I got thinking when I was looking at my BFC collection, how much better my display would be if they were on clear stands instead of the original black ones with those horrible fixed metal poles!! Problem is, I don't know how sturdy these stages are.......

Anyway, I've got 5 coming now, along with an extra Saint Seiya stage so I will have 6 of those energy blasts and 12 feet effects, plus a load of extra bases and arms to go with my impacts.

I'm hoping I can put all of my BFC's & BFW's on those stands with the exception of ZX-Tole, NEO ZX-Tole, Derzerb & Gyuot!!

I'd love to make a dynamic mid-air battle display with GD & Imakarum, with Energy Blasts and Impact Effects!! Probably still my favorite fight in the manga!!

I just ordered some from figma and amiami. I to may have went over bored but it's Guyver.

Something that bothers me about this figure that was also a problem with the BFC- is that extra bit under the Megasmasher plates necessary? I know it gives the illusion that also the top two abs are moving along with the rest of the upper torso, but could they simply have just left that extra bit out? Have it articulate right beneath the smasher?

I remember right around the time the BFC line was in full swing a lot of people were making fan art of Guyver 1 using the BFC model as a reference and erroneously gave him another set of "half-abs".

I tried to photoshop it out and then it just makes the top two abs look way too long. I wonder why they couldn't either bring the megasmasher plates down/make them larger, or fix the proportions of the abs.

Look at some more pictures I found. The piece under the Magasmasher looks way better in these pictures. Maybe they fixed it or you can almost hide it.

well, although i'm happy about something being released, it's just another F@#*N G1!
ok, it's all good since being the 30th anniversary and all, but maxfactory better have a whole line comming with different figures that havn't been previuosly released yet, that's for sure. and not just another g2 and g3, then later down the track another g1 with a different head!
from memory,with this new release, it'll be max's 10th g1 coloured version release!

let me expand on this alittle, cause its been so long we tend to forget what's been previuosly, so in no specific order of g1 releases;

 

1 bfc g1

2 bfc g1 open megasmasher

3 bfw action figure

4 bfw action figure v2, image head

5 super deform g1

6,7&8; g1 miniture trading fig.

9 limited ed. miniture bundled with g unit cd case marking the release of 2005 anime 

 

oh, actually, i've made a mistake, there was the original maxfactory kustomcraft kit aswell, so this new release would be the 11th!

As this is a new line and scale I'm all for getting G2,G3 along with G1. Now don't get me wrong I'd go deep with this if they are willing and hope to get a bunch of  characters that either haven't been made before or only done once or twice including G0,G2f, Apollon, Aptom's first form and a bunch of Zoanoids.
