lost unit Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 oh man what you done to a great model, i understand what your trying to achieve turning it into a poseable figure but its made the arms look out of proportion and the hinges on the knees are below the knee cap, but if its what you want its your well spent money gone to waste. *guyversudo Posted March 14, 2013 Author Posted March 14, 2013 update. Just started some more putty touch ups and am fixing to place things. Prep work is almost done and painting prep should be soon. I'm looking at trying to make the control metal have the new lines on it. And I have given her an up to date hip and waist look. No more 80's from mom pelvic look. Quote
lost unit Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 did you put the model over the top of the moveable figure or use the hinged joint to where you needed them. It look quite good in spme poses will you be painting the figure if so how you plan hide the joints with spray or gonna leave them be. Quote
*guyversudo Posted March 19, 2013 Author Posted March 19, 2013 Both its a Frankenstein under there. I'm going to sand the joints and use putty on them and then a primer. This will take sometime. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 I am rubbish at models etc, but Da-amn, that is one heck of a collection! I'm keeping an eye on this thread, the model looks to have improved, the hips do look a lot better. Quote

lost unit Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 very nicely done, Are you happy the way its turned out , will you be doing future projects now that this one is near completion. I love the way you painted your guyver 1 was that all your work if so i might ask for tips as its the standard im looking for. Well done. Quote
*guyversudo Posted April 27, 2013 Author Posted April 27, 2013 It's starting to look really good. It's hard to tell by the pictures but it has two different purple paint coats and I'm fixing to do a wash and highlights. I used to do a lot of customs. the two best techniques that I use would be a dry brush technique And the wash technique. any place that you have rub areas if the action figure is possible then paint the area and if you have a place that rubs off then you can place a drop off super glue that's clear over that area after you've touched it back up with some paint and then the next time you will not have a rub area. *guyversudo Posted May 8, 2013 Author Posted May 8, 2013 almost done, just a little bit more to go. Quote
