Darksenshi Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 (edited) Hopefully we get the updated form of Aptom at some point. Omega Blast Aptom would be beyond awesome. Edited September 23, 2013 by Darksenshi Quote
*guyverfan Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 yes they are fragile, aptom seems to be the worst. I have bought 5 over the years now and have only got 1 without broken hip joint. thats because only toys are ment to be played with, not collectables, lol. Quote

*guyversudo Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 I have a couple and have never experience any joint damage or any breaks on Me. Thanks sudo Quote
mrpsychopath Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 only figures I have had probs with are aptom and murikami, since release I have bought 5 aptoms, I only have 2 at moment only 1 not broken. the others were sent back. the were broken at the hips in sealed packages the same with the other murikami. GutsGuyver Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 I've had a couple (Non Guyver) figures arrive broken. I hate that. I don't mind figures being fragile but they're too fragile if they can't even survive removal from the box without concern. Quote
*PrimalNemesis Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 I've had a Max Factory Gigantic Dark for years till the darn thing broke in half. I was cleaning my dresser one day where the figure was being displayed at the time and tried to pick it up to to clean it too. When I gently lifted the figure by it's waist it suddenly snapped in half! I was shocked, angry, and heart broken! I spent a small fortune on that figure. I have no idea why it happened and it broke in a way that I cannot have it repaired. My limited edition Guyver I figure also has it's share of problems. Such as it's chest plats falling off of it's hinges. I do not think I will be looking forward to the new Figma Guyver figure unless it is more affordable and more durable. Quote
*guyversudo Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Sorry to hear that Some of you have had that happen. I would be so upset if any of my Guyver figures broke. I guess I have been lucky that mine never came broken or have never broke from playing with them. They even survived my son. Quote
mrpsychopath Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 my son managed to break quite a few. hence the spaces in my collection pics. I used to have 2 of each figure. Quote
*guyverfan Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 your absolutely right about the joints, i haven't really taken mine out of their boxes, a few were checked then put back in. their just too fragile, thats why i don't consider them as toys(especially for the price these days). the solid fixed ones are fine unless you to take a knife or hacksaw to them. 8rucel33 Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 that's a pretty extensive collection 8rucel33, I never picked up on the zoanoid bf figures because of the scale differences. yes the superglue fixes are a must for figures so expensive. Just how inaccurate are the scale differences for the zoanoid bfc's? I can remember a scale chart that Ryuki did, that highlighted just how enormous Enzyme 2 and Guyot are, but the rest seem pretty reasonable. Even though Zx tole is a BFC Max and the rest of the team 5 are just regular BFC's, they still look really cool together. What does everyone else think? When the new figma range is launched, would people pay for proper scale versions of all the zoanoids as well? Enzyme 2 might be quite costly as he's huge!!! Quote
Gray5 Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 Guyot and Pluqstahl are both about the same size and about the same as the Gigantics. Didn't realize Enzyme2 was so big. Still trying to get the 2 sets of BFC twin carded figures. Would like to get Imarkrum but he's way too expensive now. Usually see him listed in the $300+ range. Still kicking myself I didn't get him when he was first released. I have all the rest Hoping with the figmas they will remake all the existing figures plus many of the others. Quote
mrpsychopath Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 be glad if they just start to release them. bfc is still waiting for the 3 figures they already shown at one of the toy fairs a few yrs ago. Quote
Darksenshi Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 (edited) I just managed to buy the 2 BFW Hyper zoanoid 2 packs for one astronomical price. They are ultra rare so they are well worth it to me. I always wanted to display the Hyper Zoanoid Team 5 together and now I finally have my chance. I'll post a few comparison pics once they arrive. bio guyver Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 i prefer first they complete the BFC line and then begin with the figma line. every one tell me what do think of this?? Quote

I feel the same but let's hope they do continue the line. Let's hope they make a few Guyver figures in the Figma line for the casual collector's and continue the BFC line for the high end collectors. Gray5 Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Another thought; I wonder if they do get the figma line going and say they make figmas of all the current bfc figures do you think it might lower the price of the bfc figures since people would have a lower cost alternative?. Or do you think it may raise the cost by possibly generating more interest in guyver? Quote
Darksenshi Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 I'm not sure what their plan of action is. But like I said I'm hoping they keep the BFC line going while releasing Figma's as well. I doubt the Figma will affect the price of the BFC's because they are two different animals. The figma is more aimed at action while the BFC's are work's of art. Take the joints for example. The BFC figures win in that department. Quote
Gray5 Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 (edited) X2 on continuing the BFC line. Maybe the figma line will help it along. Definitely love my BFC figures. So still no pics of your latest additions? Edited September 24, 2013 by Blue5ive Quote
*guyverfan Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 i know which ones they are, well done darksenshi, good to hear it all worked out for you. those figures don't come along very often so you just have to bite the bullet and pay a hefty price. i really can't see them decreasing in value, plus, their pretty to look at, lol. here's to speedy postage. its amazing how much they've increased in value actually and they were only released in 2005! and have to agree with you that even if new figmas are released, it won't affect the bfc's/bfw's. Yup thats them bro! lol Thanks, I managed to grab em for a more reasonable price than what was being asked but it still was a staggering amount. Its mind blowing how rare these guys have become. I cant wait to finally get them in hand though. All I need now is Pluqstahl and I'll have all the BFC's and most of the BFW's. Im only missing the two packs for Zencrebe & Ramotith and Zerbebuth & Gregoile in the BFW line which personally I have never seen ANYWHERE. Anyway I'll post some pics once they come. Hopefully by the end of the week. Edited September 24, 2013 by Darksenshi Quote

Gray5 Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 (edited) Haha, I'm currently bidding on the auctions for the 2 sets listed on eBay right now. Decided since I just got a bonus at work I'm going to get them no matter what since I don't any of the 2 packs yet. Hoping I don't have to go as high as those $400 sets from Maryland.
