I think it it is unnecessary to make him bigger, I think his size is good in comparison to the new Guyver 1 sprite, I will I may try to tweak it a bit later, dunno yet. anyways, here is another update that you guys may like and it is concept art for a what if? boss dun! dun!, duuuuuun!! Zoalord Guyver Guyot!! let me know what you guys think, it is not the final version since I am not satisfied yet with the design. September 15, 201312 yr That's actually a neat concept. But I think the color should be changed. Guyot being proud and arrogant would probably also have a more bright colored armor. Likely golden like his Liskar.Also, this for everyone to try. did some recordings myself and the Zoanoid voice effect is evident.

The thing is that if I do that he will not be too different from Guyver Zoalord Archanfel, I decided on gray since that is the color he has when he is zoaformed without his battle armor, It is a concept so I will see what color I will decide with in the end, thanks a bunch for the feedback.
September 15, 201312 yr good work Odin. btw, you should check out the height chart I did ages ago. Cannibal saved it to his site - http://guyver-world.ru/guyver-wallpapers-3.html I probably exaggerated guyot a bit, but we need to remember how big he is. he is a freaking monster.
September 15, 201312 yr Author I'm going to have to compare the size chart with the vdf and the 2005 anime dvd's I have bought, something seems off to me, I know guyot is huge but I did not noticed he was THAT huge. Thanks a bunch Ryuki, I have been meaning to ask if something like this existed.
September 15, 201312 yr yeah, I think what happened is that the horns threw me off. when the guyver measurement was shown, it stated that it was his height minus his horn. I assumed that the same was true of guyot's measurement, but when viewing the tv series, I think this was wrong. well I did make the height chart before the tv series. anyway, if you look at the top of guyots head minus the horn. that is the measurement given in the manga. it's possible and quite likely that the top of his horns should come to where I put the top of his head. this is sort of corrected.
September 15, 201312 yr Author That seems a lot better, here is a quick resize of Guyot's sprite? does it seem a bit better? I am glad I decided to change the default size of the sprites considering most of the bosses are freaking giants, if I kept the original size then the bosses would have had to be almost Guilty gear size and that is a bit too much. XD

The only thing I can say about Guyot's suit is that I know some of the gravity orbs do break through the cloth(?) material, most notably the ones around his hips. Also do you plan on having Guyot without his suit, perhaps an alternate costume? Keep up the amazing work Odin!

September 16, 201312 yr i have to agree with ryuki, you can probably go taller with guyot, as im sure even in human form he was taller than g1. but thats if you decide to maybe use the human form in the game?

September 17, 201312 yr Hahaha that is pretty funny. and i think the revised size is pretty good. I think it works out much better, though we will need the orbs placed on him to complete the look. But we can understand the limits of animation if becomes too difficult to work with all that detail. Also, remember the anime scene when Guyot walks up to a poor confused mook? He pops up. ---- looks pissed ---- mook notices ---- Gets bigger ---- and Bigger ---- AND BIGGER ---- and finally mook soils his pants as he's killed. Also consider the camera angle is still making the mook look bigger in comparison than he actually is.
September 17, 201312 yr Author you mean the orbs in his torso? they are actually there, if it is on the head I also added them in the smaller version, I did not add them in the big version but they will be there.
January 26, 201412 yr I been reading through this whole thread, and I'm quite impressed with the progress. If you want story with plot twist and intense scenes, I might be able to help in that department. Here are some Game play idea's: *While progresses in the game, have branching paths that leads to different Mid bosses and or end bosses? *Every stage has 2 different paths that leads to a so called "Alternate" stage "X" (like in Castlevania rondo of blood) How about a "What If" mode? You play as Guyot trying to retrieve a G-unit? Have collectibles in stages hidden, to unlock characters and gallery stuff. I believe that will increase the replay value, hope this helps you make this game happen.
