Guest Bonnysmith Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 Is it the gravity from the moon or the reflected light? If a werewolf actually lives on the moon will it constantly be a wolf? I need to know because recently I have been growing hair on my arms and having black outs, I want to control my desease before I become a full werewolf and kill my family. Thanks! Quote
*Jess♥ Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 I'm not sure exactly how to approach this.... but my opinion on the effects a full moon might have on people, is based on the gravity of the moon ad the effect it could have on the fluids within our body. similar to a high tide, the blood in our body could be drawn more towards our brain i that time and the air pressure could also potentially be increased by the tide squashing the air. there could be various things going on with the atmosphere as well. the collective centre of gravity for the earth/moon system would also be closer to us so that could affect us in some way. I don't personally think reflected light has anything to do with it as the clouds would have an effect. I don't think they do. unless increased visibility at night has some psychological effect. perhaps it could give us a kinship with nocturnal predators. Quote
Salkafar Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 It can't be the gravity, otherwise werewolves would transform at least once a day and possibly twice. In folk-lore, the moon has little to do with the actual transformation - werewolves usually were people who had made a deal with the Devil and used a special implement - a cloak made of a wolf pelt or a belt made of wolf skin - they put on and were changed. The werewolf transformation being contingent on the phase of the moon is a Hollywood invention. I am starting to seriously hate werewolf wannabes. It seems its vampires, mermaids and werewolves on a cycle. Quote

Now you have to add Zombies to the list. When I was young and researching the paranormal, there were a few different sources of the werewolf myth. -those that angered the gods through child sacrifice/cannibalism is another one to mention -kinship with the animal spirits Ways to tell a werewolf -cut open the skin, see if there is fur on the underside, as that is where it might go when in human form -check the palm of the hand for a pentagram, as a sign of a pact with a devil I'm sure there were other ways to tell, but it's been so long, and werewolves weren't my specialty. Guest Bonnysmith Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Hey guys, thanks for the info. A quick update: I recently went to the doctor and they told me I had a condition called 'puberty'. I now have hair on my legs, underarms and tuppence. I also have werewolf 'mounds' on my chest. Quote
durendal Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 NYAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! I've not heard of the word "tuppence" before, but a quick google search resulted me the following definition: Two pence or Pennies. Now what part of the body could that be? hehehehe. Okay, I'm shallow, so sue me. Quote
