Guyver arcs!?

Hey guys i was wondering if Guyver can be separated into arcs? I admit it's been a long time since i've read it and i'm at like chapter 174 or 175 so what do you guys think? We can all agree that the first arc is something like "Guyver origins" where Sho learns about the Guyver and gets to know how to use its weapons. Maybe it's safe to say that "Arc I" is up to the Sho vs NeoZx or X day? Feel free to comment and keep those suggestions up!

The reason i'm asking this is because i want to make a Guyver torrent and upload it on bakabt.me and ongoing mangas are allowed if that manga has a proper ending of one of its arcs. Also what are your thoughts on me offering a torrent on baka? Do you think it'll benefit the Guyver community or make things worse?

As a LONG Time member of Bakabt, since it was still called BoxTorrents before the coup, i know for a fact that It DEFINITELY be popular there. I had planned on posting it there but have had issues meeting their torrent requirements. Mostly to do with their guidelines (file naming system, type, and what all and Verifying they are official release Files. It was a lot of work, more than I was willing to undertake ESP with trying to do the same for Fist of the North Star... which has been a fricken nightmare, thanks to all the groups who scanlated it, the VAST difference in quality as well as the lack off official files. Its taken me over a a year and still not done prepping the torrent to make an offer. They are extremely strict & stringent when it comes to their requirements. that said it assures that their torrents are of the highest possible quality. They would probably be more Receptive of and Open to the torrent if approached/offered by an official member of the Guyver Advocacy Group as an official offer from the group. It cuts through a LOT of the Red Tape for such a release not to mention they tend to favor official releases. I would be willing to work with you guys & reinstall eMule and prepare a torrent with the files the files you would Like me to offer as an official representative of the Guyver Advocacy Group. I would also be willing to with Del Create, Upload, & Maintain said torrent as I am Familiar with their Policies & Upload Guidelines. I Already have all the files Needed save for v27 ordered and in the correct format.

P.S. It's gonna be Kinda Hard to Offer this without the first 7 Volumes... having the first Volumes is something BakaBT are HUGE sticklers for. As in its almost a Guaranteed Reject unless there are extenuating Circumstances... and this is one of those Cases as you guys are the ONLY ones that have done a Scanlation & have up till recently held off on scanlating the original Volumes in support of Viz publishing the series again.

Well right now I see about four arcs.

1-8: Opening storyline/Mimikaki.

9-16: War with Chronos.

17-25: Rescue Aptom/Assault on Arizona Base.

26-???: Final Arc maybe?

here are some of my own thoughts on some major milestones in the manga.

not all of it, as it is late here. these are points where i felt it was a natural stopping point.

fall of cronos hq

rescue of segawa siblings

rescue of father and subsequent death of fumio

restoration of bioboost

destruction of relics base

return of shou

defeat of imakarum by gigantic dark

Awesome then it sounds like the torrent is in Capable Hands. In regards to Hokuto no Ken, I can DEFINITELY help with that. I have ALL the chapters. Perhaps we could work togeather on it. Which Chapters of Delinquent Manga's release do you need?

Side Note I'd be happy to help with Initial Seed as well if you Like on both of these because I have no doubt they will be uberpopular releases that will get flooded.

I see, I was thinking of how dragonball is split up, it has about 10 arc's or something like that. what you mentioned seems more like 'acts' to me, what is your view on that?

Acts, arcs, sagas... Whatever works but you get the idea now Ryuki. In this case we can name them whatever we like. Being a big Toriko fan (i HIGLY recommend the manga and anime btw, it's silly and over-the-top but once you read the first few chapters you get sucked into it) i was surprised to learn that in just 19 volumes there are like 12 +/- arcs so it's really fast-paced (but then again those might be just fan-made to segregate the manga). Like someone said - eating is the secondt manliest thing after impregnating women lol.

Sounds great. I don't mind you helping with the initial seed at all. My upload speed is messed up anyways (not to be mistaken with low speed, it's like my utorrent is not configured properly or w/e) so i'm not really doing it for the ratio, but rather than because i like the manga and i want to be the one to offer it. If possible upload all of d-m's releases to mediafire and send them to me please.

Regarding DBZ - i think Toriyama was supposed to end the manga with the Freeza battle. After that everyone became a super seiyan but i still find it entertaining. According to fans the best part is just Dragon Ball without the DBZ material.

Sure. Like i said for me the whole thing is basically the introduction to the Guyver and Cronos, the middle is the battle with Cronos or the Zoalords and the last arc is the coming of the creators (if that will ever happen lol).

Of so then the first arc would be the fall of chronus japan.

2nd would go till the fall of relics point and death of the sho.

3rd goes to death of hayami.

5th whatever follows.

it's really a intro, but not a compete arc.

but what you said about mount minakami i agree with.

so we could be looking at roughly 8 volume per arc or thereabouts.

so it could go something like

volume 01 - 08 (cronos the secret organisation)

volume 09 - 17 (cronos the world government)

volume 18 - 25 (the exceedingly long night)

volume 26 -

so looking at that, I think it seems a good arrangement but a bit of uncertainty about the first volume being separate or mushed in with mount minakami story. saying it in that manner, it seems clear what my view on it is.

so I'm agreeing with bbdude and larz.

even thought the first volume would make a relatively small torrent file, this should be largely irrelevant to the actual structure of the story.

I DEFINITELY second this. It was pretty well self contained... then they found out that Cronos was a Multinational Corporation/Secret Society/Cult. That's Why I refer to it as the Cronos Japan Arc.

when you say you're 'about to' offer it, does that mean you are ignoring what I said earlier about giving the community a week to give their views?

also, I don't think it's the right thing to ignore what people have said here about volume 1 being one arc. I think it would be most appropriate to, in a weeks time, offer up to bakabt what the community has asked for. if they say no, then we can reconfigure.

Why do you ask this again. I already said that i'm going to wait. Instead of Guyver Discovery arc why not Guyver Origin Arc? Reborn Arc, reborn in what sense? Gigantic Arc sounds alright but i don't like Gigantic eXceed arc. As of now everyone is coming with their own arc names so perhaps someone should make a poll and give like several arc name suggestions.

i dont really get the pros or cons of all this Baka buisness but heres my opinion on the arcs...

i see what you did with the 'exceed'ingly long night arc Ryuki! seeing as it lasted 7 books and the outcome was MASSIVE!

i think to get them accurate you'd need to do it by chapters, rather than by books , but heres my quick opinion, the names might not be the best, but i think they are split up ok:

1. 1 Guyer activation Arc

2. 2-5 Fighting Cronos Japan Arc

3. 6-8 Relics Point Arc

4. 9 -X day Arc

5. 10-13 Gigantic Arc

6. 14-17 Cronos Arizona Arc

7. 18- 25 Rescue Aptom Arc

8. 26-28 What the Hell is gong on? arc / Who is Apollyon?? Arc

reasons:

1. Sho activates the guyver

2. Battles between lost numbers, HZT 5, Enzymes etc.

3. They go to Relics point!

4. X day - a pretty big event by anyones standards

5. Gigantic fights

6. Makashimi takes it to Cronos

7. Hmmmm... they go to rescue Apyom at cloud gate for 7 flippin books

8. well - i dont know!!.
