durendal Posted July 28 Posted July 28 Just seen this yesterday. It's a refreshing take on the classic first family of Marvel. It was rather predictable at times, but it was still enjoyable. Mid-credits scene was great, but was disappointed with the post credit scene. I take it that some of the classic cartoons they used was newly animated since it has an uncanny resemblance to Pedro Pascal. I also remember watching the original cartoons as a kid, and Reed doesn't look like that. 1 Quote

I also found it kind of predictable, but kind of in a good way... In that the events happened the way I wanted them to, so it worked out for me. I liked the general feel of the movie. It didn't feel like a standard Marvel movie, and had its own style. I can appreciate what they were going for with it. It's not one with badass scenes that I will revisit often... But as a whole it was a good movie. Definitely the best Fantastic Four movie out of all of them. But yeah, post credits scene was disappointing as I would have liked a bit more set up for Doomsday... But I guess we'll just have to wait for the next one... Which is sadly about a full year away... And then 5 months later than that for Doomsday itself. Quote
