When one thinks about it, both sides are often equal on some level.

The reason why I was torn between Samurai & Viking is because you guys know about my fascination with the Japanese, especially the Samurai due to Shinkenger, and my heritage. I'm 1/4 Norwegian via my paternal grandfather.

ah yes.

well i have a great respect for vikings. the culture comes from a similar place to my own and the peoples did have a good relationship.

and also i do have a great respect for samurai for the same reason as yourself bobby.

i am about halfway through..

while watching, I became totally inspired to read up some more on ancient history. i have learned so much about culture this evening.

some of the fights are really thought provocing: Like Maui vs shoalin Monk. You'd think the monks would be more peaceful, but when you just see some of the weapons these guys weild, its insane

I mean what would allow the two to meet & fight.

i'm still confused.

it's almost as if you are replying to somebody, but i don't seen anyone saying anything that it could be a reply to.

perhaps it's a grammar thing?

maybe it's due to slang in your local area.

ok, i can accept that, but it's like a bolt out of the blue. and your original post still makes no sense.

is it my fault, am i being stupid? does that make sense to anyone else?

i'm usually pretty good with linguistics so this is really bugging me.

the use of the word 'or' requires a preceding clause. you don't appear to have one.

bobby i think you need to think more carefully about how your posts are gonna come across.

understanding what you are saying and why should never be this much work.

or would you prefer people to ignore you?

Gomenasai.

The most interesting thing that happened during the depiction of the IRA & Taliban is that one of them took one one of his own teammates with the rocket launcher.

Actually Ryuki, I read that post of his and I could understand it. He was going off from what BK was talking about. As BK was refering to the Monk and Maui, Bobby the went and added an 'or' as if saying "or what about so and so?", basically continuing a conversation if one would call it that. He just should have used an ; instead of a , when switching to the next part of his sentence.

Does that help at all?

Yeah! IRA won, can never beat the Fight Irish! HAHA yeah! Grawr!...ok iam done hehe sorry...

Ok, I think they should use the celts too ryuki. I think that would be really cool. They should do the Celts vs The Persians, or the Saxons vs the Persians. I think that would be really cool. Or maybe, the Aztecs?....

thanks dark wraith.

I think i understand it now.

I think this must be a culture thing, that it does not make sense to me, because you guys are american and i am british.

bobby, no need to apologise, if that is how you normally talk, I am just suggesting what may help and what may happen.

i hope i didn't come across as nasty.

If they were to do an american cowboy, how about they face him off against a nazi, or a anceint warrior race like the egyptians or the babylonians.

Now acter watching the Spartan, Apache, Samurai, IRA episodes I have been wondering who would win if a Spartan and a Gladiator went at it. Or a Spartan and a Roman Centurian, or a Mideval Knight, or even a Samurai.

To Ryuki: It shouldnt come as a surprise. Not all native peoples were peaceful. The main reason we became blood thirsty is the injustices that fell upon us. But long before the white man came, many tribes had very brutal rivalries between eachother. The Navajo and the Apache. The Sioux and the Crow. But it was the warrior cultures that were the most feared. IE the Cheyanne for their Dog Soldiers. They would actually stack themselves to the grown, as in staking a stick with a leather strand connected to them to the ground, and fight. They would not retreat. They would just advance towards the opposing forces. The Commanche who were one of the Apache's rivals like the Navajo. Not everyone was like the Cherokee who were the epitomy of peaceful tribes.
