March 29, 200917 yr ok, I added a mask to reduce the amount of messy ink and i placed it within a page. http://www.japan-legend.com/testpage/index4.htm if you still prefer the clean version, I will prepare a page with the clean version for people to have a look at. You Should keep this ONE!!! it has a some look as the Street Fighter 4 Logo. that was Awesome.
March 29, 200917 yr I'm in love with the messy one. It just looks so good. It has the old Ukiyo-e or sumi-e feel to it. I think it makes it fairly obvious what the site is about, Japan. The clean version doesn't quite do that.
March 29, 200917 yr Author yes, that was my initial idea. that's why i originally started playing with my ink, and was doing that writing. the initial concept for this whol thing was to have a haphazard ink style. the best thing i can thik to describe my influences is hideo kojima's artwork.

July 13, 200916 yr Author if it comes to a situation where it is being sold, then IP laws protect the font. I can sell my design on a t-shirt no problem. but the font belongs to somebody else and it would be immoral to profit from that. no matter how noble the cause. i guess i could possibly write it on paper, but you saw the trouble i had with that
