Shion Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 ok, I added a mask to reduce the amount of messy ink and i placed it within a page. http://www.japan-legend.com/testpage/index4.htm if you still prefer the clean version, I will prepare a page with the clean version for people to have a look at. You Should keep this ONE!!! it has a some look as the Street Fighter 4 Logo. that was Awesome. Quote
Bio-Boosted Dude Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 I'm in love with the messy one. It just looks so good. It has the old Ukiyo-e or sumi-e feel to it. I think it makes it fairly obvious what the site is about, Japan. The clean version doesn't quite do that. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted March 29, 2009 Author Posted March 29, 2009 yes, that was my initial idea. that's why i originally started playing with my ink, and was doing that writing. the initial concept for this whol thing was to have a haphazard ink style. the best thing i can thik to describe my influences is hideo kojima's artwork. *V Guyver Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 so this is how the new front page came to be. Neeto! I thought it was an abstract control medal as well, lol. Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 I do like the new front page design, Ryuki. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted July 13, 2009 Author Posted July 13, 2009 thanks, I am pretty happy with it. i want to put it on a t-shirt but the font cannot be used. Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Is the font copyrighted, or would it just be too difficult to write in? Quote
*Jess♥ Posted July 13, 2009 Author Posted July 13, 2009 if it comes to a situation where it is being sold, then IP laws protect the font. I can sell my design on a t-shirt no problem. but the font belongs to somebody else and it would be immoral to profit from that. no matter how noble the cause. i guess i could possibly write it on paper, but you saw the trouble i had with that Quote
*V Guyver Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 I was creating a font on my old PC, it would of solved that problem. Quote
