Guest Dr. DekaRed Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 tvnihon also translated what the grongi were saying. ryuki, try NTN, they release episodes far quicker then TVN, and they translate everything, and without flashy special effects. Quote
Toku Warrior Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Well, do you think you could give us their web address? Quote
Bobby Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 As a member of Ooz's forum, I only watch Decade because they're way behind on Shinkenger. They've only done the first two episodes of Agito & Kuuga. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Well, do you think you could give us their web address? http://tnull.11.forumer.com/ i discovered these guys yesterday actually. they are made up of TVN staff members but those who want to do the kind of thing we want to do. actually translating things. it's a shame they don't do HD because i do prefer watching it like that. i want what the original broadcast was. Larz Zahn Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 i watch the sd version of decade. i just watched 16. dude this was funny. "its so hard to be famous" i nearly fell out of my chair when tsukasa said that. and when he started to go den-o... o man... "ore, Sanjou!" thebee and gattack lookin at each other "so what?" poor decade... that had to been embarassing.. but not as embarassig as when he went to gun mode... and that dance... that was horrible i just felt bad for him! "i cant hear you!" the zect troopers in the back... lol. "he didnt ask us anything...." "he didnt..." hey ryuki, do you mean that tv-nihon didnt put the english verion of the den-o imagin's catch phrases? imo im guessing that they didnt translate the others since they didnt translate ore sanjou... i mean.. it would be one japanese phrase, and then three english phrases... who knows, they might of decided to leave it in japanse when the belt says the phrase, but then translate it to english when tsukasa says it, like they did with gun modes "kotae wa kiitenai" wait.. they didnt translate ore sanjou when tsukasa said it.. oh... nvm. but what really got me was when it revealed thebee as the brother... and so ya all know... that grandmother rocks!!! Quote
Toku Warrior Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 No Larz, TVN never translates Ore Sanjou. When they first started translating Den-O a few years ago when it first came out they said in Eps.1 that they would just use it as is and not translate it. Ever since then that's how it's been. Quote
durendal Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 LOL at Decade Den-O. Well, at least it was effective enough to stun his opponents. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 yeah, I recommend anyone to watch NTN version of dcd from now on, but i don't know what OOZ version is like. but NTN will translate all that they possibly can. which makes more sense to me because any of the catchphrases they say, you can hear it. and it makes sense to be able to understand it. only drawback is no HD, but actually, I am willing to make that sacrifice since i watch fansubs to get a translation. apparently some at TVN considers their fansubbing to be 'art'. yeah, that sounds like what graffiti artists say. when fansubs are considered to be work of art, it ceases to respect the original material . it's like they are using the show as their own canvas. it's like what that documentary are saying. it's a sad state of affairs when a sub group thinks their work is more important than the show. Quote
durendal Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 I'd rather not dwell on how the show was subbed, as this will kill the enjoyment. Looking aside from how it was subbed, I found episode 16 to be well written. The writers were giving an impression that Kabuto is Mayu's brother, but later revealed that this is not so. The fight scene in the clock up mode is also very well done. Not to mention that what Tsukasa expected as a powerful attack in Den-O form was actually something useless and funny. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 I'd rather not dwell on how the show was subbed, as this will kill the enjoyment. the lack of translations killed the enjoyment for me. since it would have been funny but i did not understand it. but eh, we can move on now anyway. I just needed to vent of course. I love dcd recently. it was weak around faiz world, but now is more fun. I am looking forward to watch 17, i think i will watch it before i go to sleep today. Quote
Renegade Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 It's a great introduction to Kamen Rider for a guy like me. I'm up to 13 now, watching 14 as we speak. Why does Kuuga never transform? He about to in episode 13, so there's no reason he shouldn't be able to outside his world. Quote
Toku Warrior Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 (edited) There's usually never a need for him to transform. He does in a few worlds like Kiva's back in Eps.4 and in a few future episodes but I'm not going to spoil anything for ya (but if ya want to know then look in the attached spoiler tags). He just transforms when either the need arrises and Decade isn't around to fight the enemy or when Decade is around and he needs help in defeating his opponent and the aid of the lead Rider whose worl they are visiting just isn't enough. like in Den-O's world where Decade, Kuuga and Momotarous/Den-O fought the main Imagine or like in the current world, that of Hibiki's where Hibiki actually became the enemy and Tsukasa wasn't around so Yusuke became Kuuga to try and stop him. durendal Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 Perhaps they are limiting it to a 2 riders per episode due to lack of suit actors? Godai didn't henshin in Agito's world but doned the G3 (of whatever its called). Quote
Abarekiller Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 Now which final form/ Finisher is your favorite Which one seem to hurt the most or leat http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oABg0wp1PKU&hl Quote
Bobby Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 I just watched episode 23 and it & #22 remind me of a classic Doctor Who episode I never saw but read about. The Happiness Patrol. Quote
durendal Posted August 2, 2009 Posted August 2, 2009 Anybody got any idea as to what is the major point in the plot? I mean, were already in episode 27 and we keep seeing Decade Jumping from world to world, then gaining cards having the same routine every 2 episodes. Still haven't revealed anything about Narutaki, the destroyer of worlds, or anything pertaining to the main story of Decade. All we keep seeing is the story of the worlds of the other riders. It's good that they keep showing the other riders, but shouldn't they at least give something for the main plot itself? Quote
Toku Warrior Posted August 2, 2009 Posted August 2, 2009 The final 3 episodes should reveal all the truth. there are a bunch or rumors going around about Decade and Kuuga in the series and a few about Narutaki as well. Quote
Toku Warrior Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 What in the blue hell? TVN just posted on their main page that Eps.30 is the finale. WTF???!!! We all know that Decade has ONE MORE EPISODE LEFT. So why did they post such a thing? Quote
