*Kenji Murakami Posted January 31, 2013 Author Posted January 31, 2013 Mom and I are both feeling more than a bit crappy; first, one of my sister's friends came over when she wasn't feeling well, and then Mom got sick and I ended up hating care of her, and now I'm sick. Uggh. Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted April 21, 2013 Author Posted April 21, 2013 There was a fire just a few houses down from mine two days ago; mom and I were close enough to see not only the thick, billowing smoke but a burst of flames from the start of the fire itself. Luckily, no one was hurt or killed, and the fire department responded fast enough to keep it from spreading to any other houses. So much for nothing ever happening on this block, though. Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted April 25, 2013 Author Posted April 25, 2013 There's been some tenuous talk about us moving again; nothing concrete as yet, but it kind of does feel as if we've outgrown this house, a bit. I'll keep you posted if anything else comes of this. Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted May 15, 2013 Author Posted May 15, 2013 I've been working a lot on Flesh and Blood again; up to 644 pages, now. I think I might even get a new chapter out soon. Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted May 25, 2013 Author Posted May 25, 2013 Wow; I just looked over the pages I have yet to transcribe, and it seems like I'm nearly at the end of Days of Fire and Thunder. I've just got to get through this one batch of pages, and then I'll have pretty much done it. It's been awhile since I finished a fanfic, I have to admit. Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted June 10, 2013 Author Posted June 10, 2013 The first page of chapter 9: Today marks both the last day of work on my fanfic "Days of Fire and Thunder", and the first day of work on the sequel. It's been awhile since I finished one of these long stories of mine; feels pretty good, I have to say. Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted June 19, 2013 Author Posted June 19, 2013 Thus far, I've made it 5 pages into the next story in my Guyver series; not nearly enough to send it off to my beta and thus begin posting, but I'm very pleased with my progress in any case. Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted August 22, 2013 Author Posted August 22, 2013 I had a very enjoyable birthday celebration; mom, my sister and I all went horseback riding. I enjoyed it, though it works a lot of muscles that you don't usually use. Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted September 16, 2013 Author Posted September 16, 2013 I've just ordered volume 30 from Kinokuniya; they told me it's going to be published on the 26th, so that's nice to know. Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted October 7, 2013 Author Posted October 7, 2013 I just came back from Kinokuniya; Mom and I went down to Strawberry Park, where the shop was located, only to find that they had moved into Mitsuwa Marketplace. It was kind of funny, since a 100 Yen store was in the process of moving into their old location, but I got my book, and then got to have a bowl of rice with pork. It was very good. Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted October 12, 2013 Author Posted October 12, 2013 It's actually started to get colder, lately. You'd swear we were dealing with an especially long summer, the way things had been going the last few weeks. Quote
river_chaos Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 Looks like we switched weather fronts: its warm where I'm at now for the weekend while you guys get the chilly temperatures. Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted November 26, 2013 Author Posted November 26, 2013 Wow; I just realized I started this blog all the way back in 2008. It's been just a little over five years since then. My, how time flies. Quote
