My sister's just been a bit too busy for me to ask to use her digital camera. I'll try to get her to let me use it for a little extra time next week.

I just had the most wonderful Easter feast; roast beef, with potatoes and carrots. My mom's a great cook; I love it when she makes these special meals.

i think your concept of family is somewhat different from mine, kenji. :)

actually... no I have a concept of family from watching tv and hearing about what other people experience.

I think it would be nice.

the people that i happen to live with don't give a drenn about anything.

to them, family is just people that you borrow money off.

Ah, that makes more sense. I guess not all families are as close as mine. It'd be nice if they were...

Still, I hope you had a good Easter, regardless.

my family is divided into two groups, the loving side, who you'd break your back for tryin to help out. these are the people you hang out with, have those family dinners with, and those wonderful family get-togethers.

then you have the other group, the one who you'd rather break their backs. these are the moochers. they borrow money, movies, anything they can. and they dont return or pay back anything for about a year, if at all. i actually lost some great movies by letting some of them borrow a few. next day they moved to the other side of the country, and neglected to mention it to anybody.

ah, family bliss.

Well, I hope you can stay closer to the former half than you do the latter. Besides, bloodlines don't make a family, they just make someone related to you. That's something I've learned over the time I've lived with my family.

Me, my mom and my sister all live together, but we haven't had much contact with any of the other relatives. By our own choice; they were a bunch of no good jerks.

i only hang out with one cousin. but i will get together with my parents and a few of my dads brother and sisters.

i really dont know very many people from my moms side of the family. they are all.. dangerous people. thats the nice way i can put it.

i live in the same house as my mum, step dad, 1 brother and 2 half brother. 1 half brother doesn't care about anything at all. if you're lucky you can get a conversation out of him. the other one has an attitude proiblem, thinks teh whole world is revolve around him and everyone bend to his will. he's a real piece of work.

my full brother is a clown, he rides on unicycles and makes balloon animals. every morning you can hear him dancing to the lyrics of grease and he keeps a pet iguana in his shirt pocket at all times. he likes to be called "le docteur von dekared".

my mum is not really there. too wrapped up in her own schedule. watches tv and god fobid you disturb her.

step dad is like... a troll i guess. literally. near zero intelligence. probably knows only a quarter of teh amount of words as a normal human. communcated in strange grunts. walks around half naked(not a pretty sight)...

Man I am sorry to hear that, but I somewhat expected you were going to say something like that ryuki. About family dinners I mean.

Hope that doesnt have any negative hold on you, or anyone on this board, if they are going through a similar situation.

I wish you all the best.

family is often a point of headache for many people.

the thing is, what you are exposed to, you get used to it. it's only when you learn about others that you realise, hey, I got it rough.

but it doesn't change who you are. :)

in fact it strengthens it.

You got a point there, Ryuki. All my friends hate my best friend's mom. She is a annoying crazy loud mouth. However, compared to my mom, she's a push-over, and I only get slightly annoyed.

Well, I suppose it all comes down to the way you look at things. If you look on that kind of thing as making you stronger, than I guess it will.

Well, I had a fairly interesting day yesterday. It was the first time that I had ever participated in an Anime Costume Contest. Unfortunately, that day as also the start of what I later found out was a record-breaking heatwave.

So, there I was, in a heavy, black cape and armor, not to mention the fact that the costume I was wearing was made of polyester. It was sheer, unmitigated torture. I look forward to doing it again next year; with some choice improvements to the costume, of course. ;)

Pictures will, of course, be forthcoming.

Cool! I am looking forward to seeing your missery in that costume! Hehe I am just messing with ya. But hey! Thats neat that you got to participate in a costume contest. I plan on going to sanjapan in august,I will most likely go as Cap Han from hellsing, but we'll see. So who did you go as? Or was a completely made up character

yes! pics are a must, and a big circle in every pic you are in that says KENJI IS HERE.

ya know, hot as it was for ya, you must of been sweating up a storm, unless your goth, then you dont sweat, you simmer. (10pts for the reference)

not sayin your gothic of course, but that popped in to mind when you said black cape, sorry, crazy mind works in crazy ways.
