His wings seem to extend for the new form. -An original rider from the Kabuto World may appear, with a Mantis motif -Den-O is also rumored to get a new form, with a helmet that's completely red Quote
Bobby Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 (edited) its cool. i sorta figured he wasnt a cat ace seein how they are the cards. and they pointed out that he was an undead early on. im on 24 right now. tis really gettin good an im gettin impatient lol. do most of the riders use cards as power ups? Leangle doesn't get a power up, dude. He TRIES to. Kabuto battled Mantis-like Worms. The Sectioworms. Edited January 15, 2009 by Bobby Quote
Toku Warrior Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 Actually Bobby, usuing any of the cards for an attack can be considered a power up so he does in a way achieve this. Blade, Garren and Chalice are the only ones who get extra forms. Quote
Bobby Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Think it was a reference to Forms. Cards aren't power ups but ways to execute attacks. Except for the Ace, Jack, Queen & King Cards. Quote
Larz Zahn Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 ah sorry i mispoke. do most rider series use cards to attack? with the exception of den-0 kiva and kabuto? (only one that i seen so far that doesnt? an i guess im only referrin to the heisei series. only seen black of the older versions. Quote
Toku Warrior Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 That makes more sense then Larz. The only Riders of the Heisei era to use cards are those from KR Ryuki, KR Blade and now KR DCD. Kuuga and Agito used belts that they could just summon sorta like the Showa era but with Kuuga, his was aciidentally used and it was from an ancient civilization....from what I could gather. Deka, could you clear that one up for me. Agito's power were basically those of humans who evloved and had the power of the god of light. Those of Faiz (555) used manufactured belts whose buckles were made up of cell phones....except for KR Delta, his was a type of gun. I don't know about Hibiki as I refuse to watch that one and you already know about Den-O and Kiva. Kabuto I presume you know as well though I'll just elaborate that they used things called Zectors and they were based off of different insects. So here's a quick list: Kuuga - Ancient power Agito - Evolved power Ryuki - Advent Deck, card based Faiz - Cell Phone Blade - Undead utilizer, card based Hibiki - I don't know but from clips I'd say a type of tuning fork Kabuto - Zectors based on insects Den-O - Train pass Kiva - Kivatt Bat 3rd Decade - Card Data, card based Quote
Bobby Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Hibiki & the other Oni Riders used Tuning Forks, Whistles & wrist-mounted strings. Tap them, blow into them, and pluck them before holding them in front of the forehead to make the Oni Symbol appear. Get engulfed in flames, surrounded by wind & struck by lightning. Quote
Guest DekaRed Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 ye, the tuning fork, et al, basically called out the demon power in them. Quote
Bobby Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 To summon their TRUE forms which are their Rider Forms. Here is a picture of the bug that Decade's based on: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Bec...s_Galicia_5.jpg Quote
*Jess♥ Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 bobby can you change that to a link please, that is a big picture and even struggles to load on my connection, I dread to think what dial up is like. Quote
Guest DekaRed Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 To summon their TRUE forms which are their Rider Forms. You don't have 2 split hairs, or clarify further bobby, i think everyone gets the gist. We were after all talkin about wat powers them, an with hibiki, it is their inner demon power. Thats why they are called oni. Stop being so picky, this isn't a competition. Quote
Larz Zahn Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 im a lil confused on that. pretty sure i wont understand it till i see the hibiki show but i wondering, does that mean its a little like den-o in that respect? Quote
Bobby Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Wasn't competing. And I didn't anticipate for the picture to be so big. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 then why haven't you changed it to a link like i asked? I guess i have to do it for you? next time, I'll just delete your post. Quote
Bobby Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 I was a little preoccupied. Just got home from work a short time ago. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 I was a little preoccupied. Just got home from work a short time ago. just please try to be a little more careful. we have always frowned on direct linking anyway. and the image is quite enormous. I feel like every time i talk to you, I'm asking you to change something or remove something.. It makes me feel very sad. Quote
Guest DekaRed Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 im a lil confused on that. pretty sure i wont understand it till i see the hibiki show but i wondering, does that mean its a little like den-o in that respect? nah tis not like den-o. each new rider to be, trains with a master (the current rider) to release their demon power. once they train hard enough they gain spectacular powers, and change, inside. this is when they take over being the rider. so the current hibiki learnt from the previous one, and the current one eventually trains a new one. the tuning fork, when tapped, resonates sound waves, and when held to the forehead, reveals a demon face on the forehead, this initiates the transformation which releases their true demon form from inside. the three main riders Hibiki Ibuki Todoroki and you know him better as Jirou from Kiva, but here he is as Zanki Quote
Bobby Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Hibiki was the only main Rider who DIDN'T have a Rider Kick. That went to Ibuki. That's the only bad thing about the series. That's just my opinion. Quote
Toku Warrior Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 TBH, the whole series of KR Hibiki sucked. Larz, I would strongly recommend not watching that series as it's the only Rider series that Deka and I both agree that is terrible. Quote
Guest DekaRed Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 i personally don't even count it as a rider series, but that is just my opinion. to me the basic elements of a rider should be bug eyes (or just double eyes, whatever), a henshin belt, saying henshin to transform, and rider kick. also a bike, but hibiki did gain a bike later on, even tho it was just a bog standard bike with no special features. so apart from that, hibiki had absolutely no rider qualities whatsoever. also the story was all over the place. i didn't mind the first half (even with the stupid random musical style) and i was sort of getting into the idea of asumu being trained to be the next hibki, and growing as a character. him and akira, thats what they were going for, and thats what i was looking for. but then they fired all the creative staff, and hired completely new guys, who changed the show completely. changed the story, the feel and the theme tune. now again, i wouldn't of minded the second half, if taken as a separate show from the first half. because everythin that changed just didn't fit. the whole sudden introduction of kiriya (played by yuuto's actor fact fans) and the story of him bullying asumu was horrible. the changing of the cafe environment, alienated me from that aspect. i didn't understand what was going on there at all. worst of all they dropped training asumu, and focused on training kiriya instead, which i definately didn't want to happen, especially after the way he treated asumu. anyway, rant over, did anyone see the new promo of decade? on the end of kiva last night, and TVN have it subbed already. Quote
Toku Warrior Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 I did. That was better than the first promo. I loved how they showed Wataru and the Riders' Faiz and Kabuto in it as well along with Kuuga. Quote
Bobby Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 I didn't see it. Can someone link me please??? Quote
Bobby Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 In my experience, Google isn't always reliable. Quote
