Guest Denonu Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 I was rewatching the Guyver tv series and came upon idea when watching the enzyme episode where it kills sho in the forest. After enzyme rips the control metal out of Guyver One the armor begins to overload and devour Sho. It took on a new appearance which has teeth and its body seemed somewhat symmetrical. I haven't read the issue in Manga so I don't know how it looked in the comic. I remember in the 12part OVA where the same thing happened it kind of looked like a mirror image of Sho only deformed. I started to think that this could be the bio boosted organism original form before the control metal bonded to it. Maybe the Advents/Creators/Uranus enslaved a parasitic race and adjusted their structures to create the Guyver for their use. Quote
Larz Zahn Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 the Guyver parasite bondes to a host and takes complete control and i suppose eventually destroys it... i dunno that part. the control medal allows teh host control over the parasite. the Manga goes into it more but the look on the new tv series is pretty close to it. i wished they added it tho, it was really cool. *V Guyver Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 That was actualy the Guyver Clone form. It's a story arc not found in any Animation adaptation, which sucks because it was a pretty cool arc. The Guvyer Clone is formed when the host is killed and some bioboosted flesh remains, such as the severed arm of Sho while fighting the Enzyme monster. After Sho died, the arm regenerated into a Clone of Sho. The clone could take Sho's form, but it didn't bioboost, instead it WAS the bioboosted armor itself seeking out the control medal for re-bonding. It didn't transform like Sho normally would either, instead it transformed in manner like a zoanoid. The plot was this, Sho once day after the fall of Chronos Japan HQ is trying to cope with his death, and that he himself is currently a clone to the original him. Meanwhile the regrown severed arm now turned Guyver Clone has taken Sho's form and begun following him by going to places Sho already visited. That means school, home, and running into people he knows. It eventually runs into Tetsuro (who is taken aback by the appearance of a Nude Sho (Clone is always naked) by questioning him "Look I know you had to sneak in here, but through the window? Hey wait why are you naked?" that promptly transformed and attacked him. Sho arrives and stops the monster, Agito becomes aware of the situation and appears to stop it too as it is a threat to his plans and identity. Sho stops Agito from killing the clone because Sho sees the clone revert to his human form. Agito is bemused and retorts to shot "Fine! Go ahead and go kill yourself..." and Sho begins to associate the Guyver Clone as the Ghost of the original Sho who died in battle with Enzyme. While thinking this The clone transforms again and attacks Sho from behind and tries to absorb Sho, while this is going on Agito becomes agitated at Sho and decides that the Guyver Clone is too dangerous and coldly decides to simply vaporize Sho and the clone to oblivion with the Megasmasher. But before he fires he notices that Sho is instead absorbing the clone thanks to the control medal. Agito stops his attack and leaves a confused and shaken Sho and Tetsuro as he murmurs to himself about it's good he didn't lose such an important pawn. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 i thik the appearance of the clone monster is based upon the human form. If it doesn't use human dna as the core, I do not think it would look like that. Quote
*V Guyver Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Well it is it's own organism, but I don't believe it was a bipedal warrior capable of squashing monsters originally. The Human mixed version was thanks to human DNA. Before that the organism probably was some parasite that merged with it's users for survival. It may or may not of increased any abilities, or possibly it could merge with the lifeform to sap energy yet gave some benefits to it's user before eventually overloading it's host. At some point the Advent discovered a way to make use of it better and bio-engineered it to be controlled with a control medal and balance out the benefits and remove most of the risks in using that life form. Larz Zahn Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 im curious as to find out what made them want to start experimenting with the orginal Guyver suits. could a wild Guyver creature attacked an advent while they were exploring/ experimenting on another planet? if thats the case then the ships sensors and the Creators own telepathic abilities could monitor their... friend as it was being... eatin. this would allow them to discover that not only does the Guyver merge and alter the dna of the host... it gives them great strength and endurance. and from the ships sensors it probably detected its link to the boost dimension and its fantastic energy supplies... so all they had to do was find some way to make its higher brain functions dormant while giving control of the body to the host, and remove the organisms command to consume the host. Quote
Larz Zahn Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 oooo! another theory. it goes sorta long the lines of Jade Tatsu's story the conquered. if the Guyver is actually native to the boost dimension then they advents could of discovered them when experimenting with boost dimension travel. kind of like a reed richards/negative zone deal. that is to say if they are native there. the advents could of easily just made it where the control medal acts as a dimensional doorway to store the Guyver while not inuse.. takes up less room on the ship while not suited up and you wouldnt have to carry it around with you while you explore. *V Guyver Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 that second theory is cool. We also can't rule out the possibility of that Guyver units origins as being a separate experiment, not all that different from humans, probably on some far off planet. Quote

Yes, the CONTROLLER Units were brought about before the Advents had even discovered Earth. Don't quite think it was anything like their attempt at making humanity, since they apparently discovered the creatures already existing and used their technology to reformat the organism to suit their needs. Guest edd2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 i think all the bio-boost organisim origin theroys are grate i think orginism was a parisite the amor seems to me to be similler to the relic hull (at least from guyver dark hero) and c metal like the conroller orbs from the ship i think the story of the unit g would go something like this advent go to a world that theyve been stuiding and find a tentical creatuer that bonds with other froms of life to survive better they find out it increases strangth speed and agility of its hoast and also heals really fast they take sample of this life form and play with its genes to make it stronger faster etc when it bonds with any life froms that they choose including them selfs they use a form of enhanced bio amor from the hulls of there ships and fuse it to the orginism unfortunatly they find that the creatuer theyve made isnt easaly controlled and after a short while will kill the host and absorb them into its self they create a mimi-control orb (contol metal/medal) and fuse that to the amored orginism and it works they mass produce this new bio-boost amor and equip it i beleve that at this stage they still had most of there bodys but there minds had grown to a point were there bodys were no longer needed i know befor anyone says it its all speculation but it dose sound a resonable way they could have produced the bio-boost amor Quote
*YoungGuyver Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 Here's a different theory for the origin of the parasite: There is a species of whale like creatures. Huge behemoths, that suckle the juices of their world. And once a year, or century, they migrate. But this migration is unlike what salmon, or hawks undergo. These creatures release their accumulated energy, and push themselves into a flight far above the clouds of their world. They defeat the gravity of their planet, and begin a journey through space to a second home. Perhaps they take this journey to breed. Perhaps they take this journey to stay on a planet that is closer to the star during its orbit. We may never know. There is however a passenger. The parasite is a creature that absorbs the dna of its prey in order to hunt. Perhaps the whale like creatures have an immune system that can fend off the parasites; it would be interesting to test. But the parasites would find ways of digging into the whale creatures skin, and being carried across to the other world. Perhaps once this voyage mattered little to them. Mattered little until the star at the center of their binary system died, and fell in on itself. The worlds of life in this system were fortunate to not be swallowed in the wake. Over eons the pull on them has increased. Their energy within the gravity well becomes ever greater. The parasite learns a new trick-how to manipulate that energy during its hunt. The parasite hunts as a true metamorph now. With a sample flesh, it can assume the size and shape of its prey by hiding parts of its body as a shadow. (sorry, being flowery with words is really working for my narrative here) The dark star is a link to a realm that so few can see; and as flowers glean from the sun, the parasite gleans from the black hole. (Ok, I can't explain this idea any further without getting into techno terms, and I'm having fun with this, so I'll continue with the fun part. Maybe explain the science part later) Adrift in space was a metal craft. A ship of refugees, of slaves in hiding from their empire. It is suicide to drift so close to a dark star system; and thus they hide for many weeks. Many months, until the passing of the behemoth. The whale like creature scares them, sends them screaming in fear of being caught by the empire. It inspires them, brings them an explosion of euphoria upon discovering a creature so majestic, gliding through the stellar wind with a grace unfathomable. What man could not follow such creatures of wonder? They landed upon the alien world that the behemoth had led them to, and pitched tents in hopes of making this their new home. For many weeks they camped; free from the empire. Free, and happy. Until one of them disappeared. They missed him for only a day, because it was later again that night that it took its next victim. The parasite had hunted, and had taken one of them. It was using their form, the face of one of their own to consume them one by one. They banded together, to use what tools and weapons they could to defeat the monster that wore the face of their former friend, only to have it double to muscle, double the tooth and claw, pervert the nature of their brother into a hideous, unstoppable force. It would pick them one by one. They ran. Every world has its dangers. Every world has its wonders. But what are the wonders if we have no one to share them with? What are they if we leave behind the ones we love? If we leave them to die? The refugees returned to space, the alien world leaving a bitter taste in their mouth. Perhaps the empire was lucky to catch them, or perhaps they wanted to be captured; how could they continue living their immortal life in freedom while their comrades had fallen so tragically? Years went by, and they kept their voyage silent, unwilling to speak of it. Their masters comfortable that such harsh a journey had tamed them. Their masters continued to taunt them, to torture all the slaves of its empire as it had for millions of years, and as it would for millennia more. Years went by, until one of them devised a weapon... A single weapon to stop the beast, to stop the parasite in its tracks. The small cadre of once refugees gathered together, thinking the lone rebel in their group a madman. But he persisted, urged them to remember how hopeful they had once been for their freedom. One of them argued that she could not live with the though of abandoning her people again; and he reveled in it! He argued that it was wrong for any of them to be left behind, and wrong for any of them to ever live as slaves again! He argued that the wrath of that parasitic monster, of -all- monsters is what their masters deserved! That if they could harness that power, then they could finally receive their justice. It was that day that they made a pact. In secret would they begin a new journey. In secret, would they begin a war Quote
Astramentous Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 I'd guess the armor was originally a much more basic parasite - still with some interesting properties, but more like a normal life-form. It was manipulated to have two main features - high growth rate, and an organizable cell structure. With an organizable cell structure, you can create super-strong materials, advanced mechanisms, and some very machine-like objects. The ships are probably a further use of the same organism, just a much larger one. If you ripped out their navigation orbs, they'd probably turn into some horrific monster just like the bio-boost creature. Quote
