Have you painted yours yet?

I am slowly working on getting the eye lenses put it.  Accidentally over drilled one eye a bit due to a sneeze lol.  When the milliput comes in I can fill in and shape so it will be perfect.  Probably going to spray a gray base coat down first. Any type of paint preferred for resin statue?

I've painted the spinal column and guts and am going to try and get the rest finished next week. I believe you can use pretty much any paint on resin but i'll probably be using tamya acrylic paints. Good luck with the milliput fix, if you need any advice working with it let me know and i'll try to help.

Here's the guts

Milliput fix went well for the over-drilled area.  Also using it to smooth the transition where the top horn attaches. Also used milliput to slightly fill the subtle gaps between the cut holes for the eyes and the actual eye lenses themselves.  Want a tight fit since I am putting some leds lights inside the head to turn off/on so the eyes can glow.  Don't want any light leaks around the lenses.  Now I will just have to order some paints.  Are you using brush on or spray or both?

Just sprayed a flat black base down in preparation to wipe it down with acetone to just leave the black color in all the cracks and recesses.   Have to say I like the all black look right now lol.

Yeah i sprayed mine very dark grey first and it looked good like this. Just waiting for some varnish to arrive to finish mine up now. Having problems with the delivery people now though.

The paint job is amazing. It looks just the way guyver 1 should do!
