I have thought about this for awhile. Now the creators have Extinction devices for Test units right? Well I was wondering if Max who has the giant unit, would be affected? If so would the Giant unit be the only thing destroyed or would the Giant unit and Warrior unit be destroted, or would the Warrior unit protect the Giant unit from destruction?

I think it would be the latter. Regardless if Max knew the Extinction device was there or not, it comes down to a matter of survival and if the WGC unit senses that this could potentially end its and the host's existence then it could take steps to prevent this.

How? Could be many ways, like blocking the signal that the creators would send to the units to self destruct....could also be that since the unit is active on a warrior guyver its original programming is overridden by the warrior unit.

I had asked once before if that favor that Max wanted to have from Dreadnought was either to remove the extinction device or possibly to remove his unit as well....of course i received a big fat "No Comment"

Well Max has no way of knowing about the extinction device. The guyvers have correctly figured the creators would have some way to rein in the test units. However to date the only mention of the specifics have occured when the other Guyvers are not present.

Anyway to help fuel this here's some important info that you'd see in the fictions:

1. Max's WGC unit is orginally a Uranus Standard Unit-G (this is important and will be explained more so in Time War). It was modified by the WG2 Universe Gen made Matrix and given a "upgrade" to be a WGC unit.

2. The Giant Unit is a creation of the Gen and made after the "Extinction Device" was made so like all modren test units all the Kavzars and up are capable of using what's basically a modren remover to dart these units and basically kills the Unit off. There is no hiding from this has all weapons on a modren test Unit e.g. shields etc will simply not prevent the weapon from hitting it's target.

The debate is though does 1 and 2 together give the Gigant Unit protection when the Test is over?

Well then if Max's unit is a Uranus version, maybe then the Gen Matrix whilst giving it an upgrade to warrior status also gave it another ability to be able to utilize Gen tech.

Since these 2 kinds of creators are vastly different and apparently rivals one would think they would implement steps to prevent each other from using the others tech or at least provide some measure of protection against each other.

So with WGC unit gaining the Giant Unit it was able to do so due to this 'compatibility' upgrade but since at base it still is a Uranus unit then the extinction device probably wouldn't recognize the Giant Unit as one of the test models anymore.

Keep in mind that a Uranus Guyver unit probably is inferior in terms of technology to any Gen technology. That and Uranus technology is probably a base level technology for the two species. With that in mind, it comes to no suprise that Guyver C's Uranus model upgraded by the Matrix into a Gen style Warrior Guyver unit can use a inferior technologically advanced unit like the Giant unit.

I doubt that if the Extinction Device could actually harm the Warrior unit itself while bonded, but could damage it as a side effect. Not kill it.

My guess is the Giant unit is vulnerable to the Device regardless. Only a Gen/Matrix/Dreadnought could remove it or neutralize it.
