Anyone got any ideas as to who they would look like/resemble, or any specs on their abilities and intricate function with the Ark??

I for one think they are beings of immense psychic abilities albeit, it is specifically tailored to operating and maintaining all the functions of the Ark. Perhaps little offensive and defensive capabilities but just enough power to hold off in the rare if ever situation they should ever be forced into combat; basic abilities could range from teleportation, standard zoalord body shield, durability suitable to stand up to anything under guyver full powered pressure cannon attack, enough power to produce various gravity based or energy based fire power, although significantly weaker than zoalords designed for combat.

I think they are as powerful as a Supreme Zoalord, befor ethey were Elites. Maybe have mental power comparable to an Elite. Mainly I think they are similar to Overlords, but as Zoalords.

Nothing has really been addressed about the Navigators abilities. But overall I would wager a guess similar to McAvoy's theory perhaps with a little more emphasis on their psionic abilities. It has been said they possess full Zoalord Zoaforms and are equal to the Supreme Zoalords, but I would have to assume they would be optimized for psionic abilities over other unnecessary abilities such as combat abilities. Although abilities similar to Guyot/Imakarum’s gravitational abilities would be helpful in the Ark’s maneuverability and combat abilities.

Actually if you think about it, all zoaforms are specialized for a specific purpose and for the Navigator Zoalords their purpose is powering and controlling the Ark. . . So don't think of them in conventional zoalord terms, they are more like a cross between a Bio-Titan and a Overlord, providing energy reserves for the Ark and controlling it in the absence of the higher zoalords but they aren't intended to replace the higher zoalords and as such their telepathy is more precision than power.

Which reminds me, has anyone here ever watched the anime "TRIGUN"? If you have, you can think of the Navigator Zoalords as Telepathic versions of Vash and Nails.

trigun is like one of the best animes...and using vash as a comparison to the zoalords makes it easier to understand

Yup, being navigators means they have to be good at math and other mental disciplines. . . except they don't need special guns to tap the power hidden in their body.
