Might as well try and clean up shop and try to at least give the appearance of rampant post. In the end, we have the final say... and I'll put it this way... it's a useless poll Just because it's not getting many posts right now, doesn't mean that it won't in the future. Just look at other parts of the forum, and see that they have barely been posted in at all. No, for now, the forums are going to remain as they are.

I just figured if we merged the two forums it would at least compress the inactivity for now, and once things pick up, it only take three seconds to add a new forum.

But those where of days past now we are ruled by a new great ones:TheGuyversWill, Twilight Guyver, and finally most importantly the guru of all things sciencey and the most active of the mods Zeo1234. Oh? How we miss them, when if there was ever a problem they would calm us with their greatness. And when we are selves did not have to entertain our selves by telling eachother our own guyver legends but they would bring down from the heavens their tales of legend about everyother month at the very least one of the three would. Oh? How I dream of those good times but alas those days are gone now is the time for a new generation to go where no guyver has been before. And the one to lead this new generation is .....Me? February 6, 200719 yr Well, I don't hold a mods status but I am here as mauch as I can be. Now that I have the internet at home everything is all gravy. But yes, James is the mod man of more seniority but the Will is here more often. Me, I'm just here for the fun of it.

February 7, 200719 yr Meh, it's all good. I didn't much as a mod that I don't do now. I never kept order or anything I was always about what was going on behind hte scenes rather than keeping people from causing arguments and what not.

February 8, 200719 yr It needs to remain the same. I agree that it's slow now, but it will eventually pick up again. But, in the meantime, don't worry or think about it too much. You might hurt your head. And at any rate, if there is something that someone finds interesting that crops up that belongs here, you'll know. So, relax, and just enjoy the scenery and show. Flow with the current, and all of that. At any rate, does it truly matter? Everything has their peaks and lows. Like I said, don't worry, be happy, and roll with the punches life tosses out. It may be surprising what being relaxed about things you can't control will do for you. Human patterns and patterns of topics included. It's late and I really need to sleep.
February 9, 200719 yr Author If even one forum on this board remains inactive for a prolonged period of time, it will effect the overall activity of the board in general. It doesn't make that much sense, but it's the truth. People want everything to be active on the boards they visit. If this board was merged with the other one, it would add to at least the appearance of overall activity. This in the long run will increase activity and overall board/site traffic. Just the flow of things, ya know?
February 9, 200719 yr Even then, there will be slow periods. Would you combine the slow boards then too? If you did that, in the long run, you'd have only one general board. But, for now, for all intents and purposes, it doesn't look like there has been a relatively large change given that there is an average of one topic being replied to one every board in the last week or so. Over a longer period, yes, it would appear slower, but still, that doesn't necessarily advocate for a major change like you're talking about. Now, if say, there was only one post on this board per every two weeks for say, a year, then yes, that would be sufficient need to add it back into another board. But, as it is, there really isn't sufficient evidence or reason to move the board.
March 23, 200719 yr Author But just think! If this board was part of the "General" board then the 4 topics made in the last 2 months would have been created in the general board!... This would add to the overall appearance of activity on the said "General" board and would perhaps motivate others to give this site just a tad bit more traffic due to at least the appearance of activity! Oh well... Deaf ears and all. But I hear you!
March 24, 200719 yr Dispite your issue with the gigantic I have to agree the video game board gets like little or no attention. So I think it would help, I'd also like to mention that if it was moved to the general forum we might be able to get members interest in talking about video games back up and if it gets big enough then we sporate them again.
