Twilight-Guyver Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 Alright I've been wondering, since there are so many american Dragonball Z games out now which one do you think is the best out of them all? (note that this is going to be based on the PS2 releases) Quote
TheGuyversWill Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 I only played the first two. I'm more a computer gamer these days. Quote
largo Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2 has to be the one I like best. P.S. Poll isn't working Quote
TheGuyversWill Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 Ha, probably because it ended a long time ago. 7 day poll or something. Quote
Twilight-Guyver Posted December 28, 2006 Author Posted December 28, 2006 Yeah the polls over, but oh well. DBZ:BT2 is hte drenn becasue it just is better than all the rest character wise and ability wise. The game paly is move , but I still don't understand the method behid hte dragon balls themselves. Quote
largo Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 Yah, I know find the dragon balls get an item. You would think it would be a more intrect(sp?) part of the game. Quote
Twilight-Guyver Posted December 28, 2006 Author Posted December 28, 2006 Yeah the other games made it easier to find the dragon balls, but now you have to break your neck to find every single one of them. I prefer being able to use the draon radar rather than having it and not doing anything with it. Quote
Rivyn Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 can we get an option for none of the above? >> Quote
Twilight-Guyver Posted December 30, 2006 Author Posted December 30, 2006 :: Someone no like DBZ. Haters, con sarn haters!! That's right, I said con sarn. Got a problem with it? Bet not. Quote
WarriorZoalord Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 well. Tenkaichi 2 has the most playable charactyers, so thats the most diverse of the games. Quote
largo Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Yah the most characters, but why can't I have 18 with the out fit she wears durning bio-brolly movie? Quote
Twilight-Guyver Posted January 1, 2007 Author Posted January 1, 2007 Cuz out of all the movies, Bio Brolly sucked. I mean Brolly has his run of two films and then coming up with hat one was horrible. I mean killed his name. Friggin mutant with legenary super saiyan power. Disgusting movie. So I can see why nothing comes close to that horrid thing. Quote
largo Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 I just want the darn 18 costume. Who cares about all the other stuff. Quote
TheGuyversWill Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 None of the above is pulling away quick. Oh man this one is going to be down to the wire! Quote
Twilight-Guyver Posted January 18, 2007 Author Posted January 18, 2007 Can't ask everyone to likea game based on a plummeting franchise. oh well, it good while it lasted. Quote
TheGuyversWill Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball GT, were over a long time ago. I'd say just the american craze had died down at this point, but there are still some hardcore fans out there. Quote
Twilight-Guyver Posted January 22, 2007 Author Posted January 22, 2007 Personally speaking I say that the series should have brought out in chronological order rather than bringing our Dragonball Z before Dragonball. That way people would have been pushed to watch funny ha ha, and then be introduced to the hardcore fighting craze. but GT and it's return to the old ways of Dragonball . . . I have to agree with masses that it had it's high points but some of that funny stuff shoulda been left out. Of course Toriyama was out by then but still. I guess when it comes down to it Dragonball Z was the best of it all. Just my opinion. Quote
TheGuyversWill Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 My favorite saga is the Piccolo Saga from Dragon Ball. One of my favorite lines in the entire series (DB, DBZ, DBGT) comes from that saga. I don't remember the exact context, but they where at a tournament, one of the first featured. It's been a while since I've watched this, the names of all the characters escape me, but the quote (subbed from Japanese!) was mentioned while Krillen and Goku where watching a match. One of the officiators mentions the combatant took down his opponent with but a single blow. The two of them say something to the effect of "Two kicks, one punch." It was one of the first moments in the series that you truly saw how far above the rest of the game these guys were. I loved that moment. Quote
largo Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Dude the best dragon ball moment has to be when Bulma flashed Roshi for the dragon ball with out knowing that goku took her panties off earlier. That has got to be one of the best seances.(sp?) Quote
TheGuyversWill Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 Yeah those first 100 episodes or so of Dragon Ball had some little "pervert" moments here and there. Mainly because of the Turtle Master... Quote
Armageddon Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 I liked Budokai 1-3. They should've stuck with that series. Tenkaitchi just plain sucked to me. Quote
Twilight-Guyver Posted February 1, 2007 Author Posted February 1, 2007 Come on man. I know Tenkaichi one scuked but Tenkaichi 2 looked like it made up for hte fumbles of the first. I mean no more singular characters. You can power up to all your forms except for SSJ 4, which I'm kinda of okay with due to it's dislodging from Dragonball and Dragonball Z. After all DBGT wasn't made by Toriyama. Quote
TheGuyversWill Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 I just played one of these the other day. No clue which one. I got beat down by an 8 year old. Isn't that just the luck of draw? Oh well, I got him one match out of 4. I count my blessings that I made it out of one of those with my Goku SSJ self. Quote
Twilight-Guyver Posted February 2, 2007 Author Posted February 2, 2007 The kids are evolving to match the skills of the older generation. They pick up the controllers knowing what to do. I hate to think what my kids will be able to do when they're born. Think my gaming days will be through. Quote
