nidhogg Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 Sit back and start drooling, A live action tranformers will be released next year on July 4 or sometime there about. The trailer shows a blacked out and large robot beat the tar out of a probe. Another shows a group of police cruisers and officers surrounding another cruiser that has "to destroy and enslave" (I think thats what the crest says). Quote
*zeo Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 Yeah, there are already some production footage going around the web. Seen one with some tech guys working on a full size prop of Bumblebee, note though all the car models are getting modernized and won't be the same as the cartoon version. The first trailer with the probe shows the transformers awaken on Mars instead of a volcano like the original cartoon. Quote
largo Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 From what I hear some of the orginal voices will be reprizing their roles for the movie. Thou I can't remember exactly who it will be. Quote
Juggernought Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 Yea, the person who voiced Optimus Prime on the cartoon series will be doing the same for the movie. They may do it for many of the other original characters as well. Quote
largo Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 All I really care about is if they get the orginal VA for Star Scream. He is only the coolest of the transformers. Quote

Peter Cullen for Optimus, and i believe Frank Welker for Megatron. It's a shame Chris Latta died. I enjoyed Starscream. Quote
Twilight-Guyver Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 i have to say R.I.P. for all the lost VAs of the series. I loved Transformers as a kid and even now I still do. I ahd to get teh 20th Anniversary edition of the movie and watching it over just made me feel like a child again, it was so great to share that with my little sister. In regards to the new movie; know ing that the VAs from the series that are still alive are doing repraisals of theirs roles is amazing. Who'd have thought they'd stil have it in them. I haven't seen some of these trailers but if someone could, could you post a link or two for me please. I can't wait for this movie already thought about fandangoing tickets for the a midnight showing. Yes, it's that serious. Quote
