let's figure out how things work. whether we're coming up with theories for how our favourite characters do what they do, or talking about real life science and belief systems, we can talk in here.
There is a specific rules for this forum, inside. Read them.
I think it goes without saying you have to have an open mind.
If your mind is closed or you are devoutly faithful to your own beliefs it is advisable to skip this area.
This place is a discussion board.
If you show a repeated refusal to listen to others views, it ceases to become discussion. You will then be barred from this area.
So discuss your ideas, think up new possibilities, be creative and have fun!

I've gotten an idea for one of my fan fic characters and his battle form. My character Camel is a vampire hybrid that's capable or transforming his body into any battle form that he pleases. But one feature I want him to have is bio-luminescent highlights around his eyes. My inspiration doesn't come so much from nature, as from a technically inanimate object. Both major generations of the Audi R18 e-tron quattro Le Mans race car has used back lit strips in their headlight bins that are different colors so the teams can identify which of their cars is in pit road at night. I also got influence from how occasionally a Guyver's eye lenses will light up red as a warning…

Les Baugh lost his arms as a teenager. Engineers at Johns Hopkins are trying to give them back, but better. Mr. Baugh is testing a robotic prosthetic that he can control with his thoughts. I thought this was really amazing. Technology has really come far. Thoughts?

Whatever.....they apparently have civil marriage confused with religious marriage. The two are very different in terms of definition. I'm not sure that they understand what a marriage is. Marriage is different by definition with many cultures and societies. For some people, it is considered a religious activity and to other cultures it is completely different. Basically, in my opinion, marriage means different to other people. I think anyone should have that right because marriage is different in every country and with people. Here is a great definition that I found on the wiki.

Do you believe in ghosts? Why or why not? Not sure on this myself. Its possible. I've seen things I can't explain. But I'm not going to just say that I knew it was a ghost. I had a pretty wild imagination as a young teen. 14 years old. My father owned this really old house that was built in 1818. He had it remodeled somewhat. I saw this woman in really old fashioned dress one evening around 6pm walk past me as if she were there. My father was out late I remember. I was very curious...so I followed her half way before realizing she had disappeared into the guest rooms. So I stood there outside the guest room and asked if she could come out. No answer, no one had re…

Is taking a life ever justified? If so, where is the line? In my opinion.....I think if you're defending yourself than that is acceptable. But I think if you're just killing for sick pleasure, money, tying loose ends or revenge / closure than I'd have to say no.
