  2. Just as people struggled to find a practical application for hydrogen balloons, small thinking has also plagued the development of one of today's flashiest technologies, virtual reality devices. But VR doesn't need a killer app. It just needs to be unleashed on the world, so the people tinkering with it can lead us all someplace new. The post Why Virtual Reality Doesn’t Need a Killer App to Get Huge appeared first on WIRED.

Truth is the Foundation of Liberty What if I told you that I could see the future....? You would laugh at me right and say that I'm completely mad. What if I told you I can see the future because it is a future that we will create. I want you to think about who has the power to create your future. I believe we stand at a fork in the road for the future of our civilisation, down one path lies secrecy, deception, manipulation, fear and oppression. Here the needs of the few outweigh the needs of the many. Down the other path is a civilisation based on Truth, Equality, Liberty, Unity, Harmony and Courage. Here the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few; or even bett…

  5. So I am working on a project, well restarting it because my luck with electronics as not been the best this year so far. But it is going to be a rather massive drawing and I was wondering if someone can help me find the one picture I need to complete my cache of reference pictures. My plans and goal is to have an "out of control" Guyver-1 surrounded by every popular alien, robot, cyborg, armored hero and villian, and other bioweapons from popular anime, movies, cartoons, and games. But the one picture I so desperately want or a picture close to it, is a full body picture of Armored Batman from the leaked Comic-Con Batman vs Superman trailer. Has anyone been able to f…

So. Hey guys. How do you like your popcorn? What flavor do you like? Do you like it with white cheddar? Butter? Lots of salt? How do you like it? I just add salt or some spice to it. My favorite is Kettle Corn mainly and I also like butter with it.

So do you normally take a cold shower or a hot shower? Honestly. I hear cold showers are good for you. But I prefer a hot shower. What about you?

What was your worst birthday experience? (Could be your own birthday or someone else's.) On my 24th birthday I had food poisoning and was sick for the entire week. It was horrible. After vomiting a second time after having eaten a Wendy's Baconator at 4 in the morning. I began to keep count. So in 5 days. I had vomited over 20-24 times. My wife thinks that I should have gone to the hospital and put on an IV because I couldn't keep anything down. I also had bad diarrhea. It was the worst birthday I ever had. My wife and I ended up waiting a week until I was off work to do any kind of small celebration.

To stir up some conversation, where was your first date? My first date took place in a local Chinese restaurant. I had a crush on the waitress so I asked her out to the movies. I bought her lunch at her work place and invited her to come sit with me. We dated for 2 weeks which consisted of 2 dates before I decided that I she was no longer someone of interest to me.

Do you? I do. Every day several times a day. People say you can get arthritis cracking your knuckles. So I still do it all of the time. I've seen old people doing it and they seem fine.

If you saw someone dropped 20 -100 dollars on the gound and didn't notice, would you claim it for your own or try to return it to them? Honestly I've been in this position. I worked at Wal-Mart and came across a 100 dollar bill. No one was around period. No one was around and according to store policy that if any money is lost by a customer. It than belongs to Wal-Mart by default. I said to myself. Does Wal-Mart needs this more than me? I could ask anyone in the store and they'd be like...oh sure, thats mine. Finders keepers and smegg Wal-Mart. I kept it and was 100 bucks richer. Now. If it was someone's wallet, than sure. I'd return it. Because there would b…

So if you had a choice today for lunch. Which would you go with? I'm going to go for Italian. Something like lasagna sounds pretty damn good. I took my wife to Olive Garden last week. It was pretty good. They serve up some really good bread sticks, soup, and salad.

  15. What’s the biggest personal change you’ve ever made? Well, to be honest. I used to have major anger and depression issues. But I think my biggest change was reaching out and going to see a psychologist and psychiatrist for my mental health. Since than I've been on Citalpram and I've been much better. Best thing I've ever done. Its made my relationships with my family much easier and I'm reconciling with my brother. I'd have to say this year has been critical for me.

Thagomizer What dose it mean? A thagomizer is the distinctive arrangement of four to ten spikes on the tails of stegosaurid dinosaurs. These spikes are believed to have been a defensive measure against predators. The arrangement of spikes originally had no distinct name; the term Thagomizer was coined in 1982 by cartoonist Gary Larson in his comic The Far Side, and thereafter became gradually adopted as an informal term within scientific circles, research, and education. There has been debate about whether the spikes were used simply for display, as posited by Gilmore in 1914 or used as a weapon. Robert Bakker noted that it is likely that th…
