I saw the 1st episode, I dont have Amazon prime so I saw it thru less reputable means.... He goes by Ben Reily, but not sure if it's a fake name he is using or just born with it. Surprisingly enough I like Nicholas cage as spiderman, which is a sentence I never thought I'd say.

I actually liked it, it had some good throw backs and a good cameo. I really liked the real world bits, tho I will be the 1st to admit it kills the realm of disbelief it was still a pleasure to see happen.

I have a rule, only watch one trailer. Trailers these days seem to give away every part of a movie so you get no shocks or surprises, im already annoyed I'm seeing clips of hulk cause I had no idea he'd be in it. That said, I got my tickets last week and I'm very excited.

I'm just gonna say it...this intro is absolute goddamn briliance.

enjoyed the trailer and excited to see this in hd but not crazy about that cover art, the proportions are super weird and visually it's not a great representation of the film's vibe. never liked that artwork that is used for the reverse side either - was always under the impression it was ai given the loose details and bizarre visual noise. if it's not ai then from an image-making POV there's objectively a lot of weird stuff going on in it. but i guess there was that really weird cover the first film got where the arms out guyver didn't even look like the guyver so there's precedent for weird guyver covers. oh well anyway, pretty interesting to note that the black smoke coming from the landscape at the beginning of the trailer is not in the original version of the film. hopefully there aren't too many other instances of excessive zoom in, though if this is a limiation due to film deterioration around the edges then fair enough.

I'm losing my mind...

Speaking of cameos, I hope they have some of Marvel's mightiest make appearances again. They really went above and beyond in the Season 1 finale...

I am liking the fact that both X-Factor and Havok are in this season. Always loved him in the comics and we only got a very short cameo version of him the original series.

Still looks like lots of fun! The loafers on Malmot are a nice attention to detail from his OVA design. No way it's coming out this summer though
