No worries, spoilers doesn't really bother me. Its effect on me is quite the opposite actually. When I find out something, the more I want to see it. Why don't I try something different here. Maybe I'll work from bottom up.

This will be the next installment of the PTW (Project Toku Wiki). I selected Ryuki since this will be the next series that I will be watching. Will update the page as I progress with watching the show. Feel free to edit mercilessly.

Sorry, I re-read your post, I misinterpretted what you said about giving Blade a "serious go" as giving a "serious go" on doing the Ryuki wiki. Nyahahaha. Ryuki it is then.

Speaking of Decade, I'm not really happy with the way things are going. I have to admit, Decade was one of the reason why I started watching the other Heisei Riders, (which I think was a successful tactic). But what I didn't like is how they keep sticking to the premise of visiting worlds and not actually giving emphasis on the main story. Up until episode 26, I still don't know what's been going on with Tsukasa besides from him traveling to world. I guess this is one part where they could still improve on.

I also seem to notice another big difference between the Showa Riders and Heisei Riders. The story in the Showa Riders were mostly driven by tragedy, while the Heisei Riders are more of a struggle driven story. Back then, it is extremely difficult to make CGI effects, that is why they have to compensate it by making the story really good. But nowadays, the show seems to target younger audiences, so having a complex story will shy away younger viewers.

Technically speaking Black and Black RX were aired during the Heisei era. But you know what I mean. Black is actually the first Rider that I have completely watched. I loved Black especially the ending song (long long ago 20th century), such a sad song. But I also love some of the Heisei Riders like Kabuto and Blade. Although my knowledge of the riders are quite limited, I have already encountered them during my childhood. My first encounter with a Rider was with V3. I had stickers of V3 collaborating with Spiderman when I was a kid. Also had the sticker of Rider 1, Rider 2, V3, X and Riderman hand in hand. I was always curious and wanted to watch the show they were in, but I didn't had the resources then. Suffice to say, although I grew up with the Showa Riders, I also happen to enjoy some of the Heisei Riders. Also, I think the most obvious difference in the Showa Riders and Heisei Riders is the involvement of Ishimori.

Nope, the only Riders I've seen are the ones that I've created a wiki for. I guess I could watch Ryuki next, seeing that, unintentionally, would be the next series on the pattern I'm watching. Saw Kiva, skipped Den-O, saw Kabuto, skipped Hibiki, saw Blade, then skipping 555 to see Ryuki? Didn't realize that I'm actually watching in reverse skip order. And since you've mentioned wanting to have a go at Ryuki, I would have to yield to you, skip Ryuki and watch 555 instead.

Ok, I'm done with Blade. Finished watching it as well as finished the wiki page. Didn't bother to separate the review of Larz since the review would look lonely if I made another page for it. I'll leave that to someone else. So, what series shall I watch next? Perhaps I should start on Kuuga?

Anybody got any idea as to what is the major point in the plot? I mean, were already in episode 27 and we keep seeing Decade Jumping from world to world, then gaining cards having the same routine every 2 episodes. Still haven't revealed anything about Narutaki, the destroyer of worlds, or anything pertaining to the main story of Decade. All we keep seeing is the story of the worlds of the other riders. It's good that they keep showing the other riders, but shouldn't they at least give something for the main plot itself?

Added some nice pictures of the cards. Finally finished what I was so excited to do. Hehe. Ryuki, nice crispy logo by the way. The page looks much better now.

Some other WTH translations: Hokuto no Ken 2 = Ken Great Bear Fist 2 Youkirou = Geisha? Aishite Night = Love in Rock & Roll? 203 Kochi Ai wa Sinimasuka = Port Arthur?? I find it weird they Name Getta Robo G as Getta Robo G but Getta Robo Go as goldbang?

The page looks like it has a lot more information contained. Looks like there are a lot of "red" links. At least there are more "blue" links in the 2000 era. I think the vastness of the information on Tokusatsu is too great to be contained in a single page. Perhaps someday when we have more pages we could expand this. Project Toku Wiki. Finally done with the riders. Currently adding the pictures for the characters. After that, the rest of the main page. I'm excited. hehehe.

I'm not so sure I would want to rely on that. For one thing, the english titles came from their international sales team, and not from them, so its kinda semi-official. And "Getta Robo" to "Goldbang"? What the hell?

Okay, then I would suggest you refrain from reading the character wiki. It has a chunk load of spoilers. I'm already halfway the series and I read about major characters that haven't even appeared yet. But you really should watch it, I'm enjoying Blade like how I enjoyed Kabuto. An enjoyment that I did not experience when I watched Kiva.

Actually, I was watching blade from youtube. Saves me the trouble of downloading it. Anyway, I'm really excited about finishing the blade wiki, especially the rouse cards. I have a great idea about it and I want to finish everything immediately. Almost done with the list of characters.

You know, I regret never to have watched the other Heisei Riders prior to watching Decade. After reading the Japanese Decade Wiki, I came to realized I missed the "reminiscent feeling" the show was trying to give when they presented the 9 rider worlds. After having watched Kabuto and currently watching Blade, I now got a better appreciation of the past episodes of Decade. It was just too bad that I didn't get the actual "feeling" the show was trying to portray while it was initially aired. I'm not sure if you guys understand what I'm saying, but I missed an important element that would enhance the show for me. On the other hand, Decade succeeded in its other goal. It got me to watch the past riders. Admittedly, I am now watching the past riders because Decade gave me the glimpse of the other riders and along with it the curiosity. I guess this is what they would call the dual purpose of the show. The Japanese really are ingenius.

You'd have to wonder, with Black and Black RX side by side, how would Minami Kotarou split up and stand beside himself?

Ryuki, since you have the Blade DVD, I'd like to ask, where did the "Board Of Archaeological Research Department" come from? I'm not entirely sure if that is official or something the subbers made up. I'm up to episode 22 and I have never encountered it. Either that or I just missed it.

I'm not sure "creep" would have the right feel to it. I think what they were referring to here is the "Mysteriousness" or the "Strangeness" of the enemy. This is also related to the term "Kaiju" which means "monsters" or "Strange Beast". Maybe we can use "Strange Men" instead? Though it still feels awkward. I'm still suggesting "creature", which is somewhat similar to the "Monster" of "Kaiju".

Segregated the rider page and added pics to each rider and their forms. All that remains is the episode list and external links. Then I'm going to move back to Blade.
