Well that's been the rumor, but we just need to wait to see who the confirmed second villain is. -

I forgot that the megasmashers do not have a sustained beam like in the manga, but rather one massive, one second blast. Also it takes time for the megasmshers to be charge before they can be used again. -
Underworld 2 trailer @ Yahoo Movies Is anyone else looking forward to this movie? It looks even better than the original!
-
just because it is a japanese cartoon doesn't mean it is only in japanese. if that was the case then we'd have no english anime from japan. You seem to forget that most anime is licensed a minimum of a year after the anime finishes in Japan.
-
Of course it's only in Japanese. IT'S A DAMN JAPANESE CARTOON! If you want it in English, I wouldn't expect it to come stateside til early/mid 2007.

I'm gonna order this one pretty soon, since I don't have it yet. ;;;

Episode 13 I dunno about the rest of you guys, but I thought this episode rocked. Seeing Murakami fight 2 of the Hyper Zoanoid Team 5 was cool. I can't wait til we get to see him fight the 3 enzyme 2's. Also the fight with Guyver I vs Enzyme 2 was good too.

A Spider-Man 3 Villain Revealed! http://spiderman.sonypictures.com/ Now for confirmation of the second villain...

Yes, thanks for fixing it. It was rather a pain for scrolling side to side.
-
Sure they do. It's better than one insanely long thread for the entire season.

The Guyver's ability to negate other sonic attacks? -
translated through Google Alright! Too bad it didn't come out on Christmas...

Has anyone played this game? It's a pretty cool western FPS game from CAPCOM. You can choose either to side with good or evil. I found it quite fun, but a bit on the short side.

I am curious, why did you guys decide to rewrite the Warrior Guyver fanfiction?

Analysis of the New Anime Series

No but the armor does protect Sho's friends by accessing his memories. In one of the early episodes, a Chronos agent misses Guyver 1 and the bullet would of hit Tetsuro, had the armor not reacted by shooting the bullet out of the air with the head beam. (how badass is that?!) The armor seems to regenerate pretty quickly. In one scene when Zerabubuse had melted off one of Guyver 1's vibration blades, it had quickly grown back in another scene. -
I just posted a FAQ for the newbs thread but I can't edit it to add in more stuff. Why can't we edit our posts?

How many volumes are there for The Guyver? There are 27 volumes to date. What magazine serializes The Guyver in Japan? The Guyver is serialized in monthly Shonen Ace from Kadokawa Shoten. How many novels are there? There are 3 novels. Two novels were released in 1996 and one in 1998. How much anime is there for The Guyver? There are 3 OVAs & the new TV series. Guyver: Out of Control (Out of Standardized in Japan) came out in 1985 and is OOP (out of print). OVAs 2 & 3 (eps 1-6 and 7-12 respectively) are out on DVD from Manga Entertainment. (The Manga Entertainment Guyver dvds are now out of print) Now there is the new TV series that aired in Japan. (it was coproduced by ADV). The Guyver anime is now out in the US from ADV: Guyver vol. 1: Days of Future Past Guyver vol. 2: Procreation of the Wicked Guyver vol. 3: The Lost Number Commandos Guyver vol. 4: Innocence & Wrath Guyver vol. 5: Secret of Relic's Point Guyver vol. 6: Panemonium's Ransom (9/11/o7) Guyver vol. 7: Armor of Gods (11/6/07) Note: ADV has lost the rights to all their Sojitz titles (Guyver among them) and FUNi currently has the rights to Guyver now, so we should see Guyver dvds back in print this fall 2008. Will there be a second season of the Guyver TV anime? Usually this would happen with a year or two of the original series, and since it is 2010 now... I wouldn't count on it. FUNi has announced that they are interested in co-productions, but this may be for US properties only. However, we can always hope since they have the license to the 2005 anime. Holy crap! There's a TV series?! I didn't even know that! Give me some info! The Guyver is animated by Oriental Light and Magic. It did air on WOWOW every Saturday in Japan at 7 PM. Can I get a torrent to the new series please? Sur... No! That is against forum rules and you'll have to search for it yourself. I loved reading The Guyver in English but Viz canceled it years ago... I sure wish I could... You can! Chuang Yi Publishing has put out 10 volumes. They had run legal problems and are unable to release anything beyond volume 10. I tried to order the manga directly from Chuang Yi, but I can't That's because it is only licensed for Singapore. You have to order them through retailers in Singapore that sell internationally. Refer to this thread on ordering or refer to my signature.

The only country bringing out The Guyver in English is Chuang Yi Publishing in Singapore? So you want to know how to order them? Send an email to support@whatcomics.com Tell them you want the english Guyver manga and use airmail. (it's insured and it takes only 7-14 days to arrive). Use PayPal to pay. If you don't like PayPal, you can buy them from Wallgarden or Popular

White Noise looks really scary. But I just might see it anyway, even though I am not a huge fan of horror films. -
What movies are looking forward to in 2005? For me (what I can remember at the moment): War of the Worlds -A remake with Tom Cruise (Mission Impossible) & Dakota Fanning (Man on Fire) & directed by Stephen Spielberg(SP?). It is aobut Earth defending itself from attacking race of dying aliens. Fantastic Four The comic book heros finally make it to the big screen. Constantine Hellblazer comes to the big screen starring Keanu Reaves. Elektra The Elektra spinoff starring Jennifer Garner. Um, that's all I can think of at the moment.
