  1. Maverik, first things first. Read the rules man! This section of the forum is for official Guyver canon discussion. Meaning the anime, manga, and movies second, double posting is not allowed!

For those you new to this board, I highly suggest you buy the Japanese tankoubon to find what is going in The Guyver currently. (Buy at a local Japanese bookstore like Kinokunia or online, like www.sasugabooks.com )
  3. You also seem to forget that Out of Control came out in 1985 (or somewhere aournd there) and the latter 2 OVAs came out in 1989 and 1990 respectively.

I should save up for an Xbox to play this game.
  5. Has anyone played this FPS game? I'm a total FPS whore and will buy pretty much any FPS game I come across. It takes place during the 1960's. You play as Cate Archer an ex-thief who is now a member of UNITY, a secret British spie grou or somethin. In any case it's pretty fun and some of the badguys have fun conversations. (my favorite is the beer and criminal psychology one. )
  6. My only gripe is that budget for this must have been kinda low. Too much recycled animation. (I.E., GI keeps getting kicked in the head by FGII )
  7. I replied to it. (my screenname is guyverfanboy). Let's all cross our fingers and pray that there will be a limited release for us fans.
  8. Well for those of you without a internet connection, you can use those handy free 1072 hours AOL discs, just to register and then cancel. Just a thought.
  9. Anyone looking forward to this CG animated feature film? It looks pretty funny, especially with those psychotic penguins. "Someone's ratted us out boys. Cute and cuddly, cute and cuddly" -lead penguin.
  10. Pretty cool series. Reminds me of Guyver in a way. Lone hero vs. corrupt conglomerate and all.
  11. Um, No. When Kadokawa Shoten bought the license for The Guyver from Shonen Captain comics when they went under, Kadokawa requested Yoshiki Takaya to redraw some of it. So, it was not changed by Chuang Yi. If you want to see how GII looked originally, buy Guyver vol. 1 (Viz-English) or Guyver vol. 1 (Shonen Captain-Japanese).
  12. I have the first volume on dvd. Although, I'll try and save up for the boxset eventually.
  13. Well, if it wasn't official, Zeo would not have mentioned it. I think siding with the Guyvers is the best way to go. Democracy all the way!

Well, you can buy the current Shonen Ace mag from www.animenation.com
  15. Online petitions never work, but I am sure a letter writing campain would! Oh, and I think this is BS. Kinda sucks for the people like you who do not have an internet connection at home.
  16. Babel Fish is your friend. http://world.altavista.com/
  17. Rebirth, Ragnarok, and Priest are my favorite manhwa titles.
  18. I actually like the long battle myself.... Nathan, Guyver is serialized in Monthly Shonen Ace Magazine which is impossible for it to come out faster.
  19. Knowledge from laying their hand on the orb? I find that hard to believe. I would think that only Guyvers and Zoalords could access Creator tech.
  20. guyverfanatic replied to a post in a topic in General 'whatever'.
Good point. He could fight Big Foot and the Jersey Devil too!
  21. guyverfanatic replied to a post in a topic in General 'whatever'.
Ah, the era of VHS.... I think they made the money back from it with a small profit from theatres world wide and they'll make a money from DVD sales. I am rather skeptical of a sequel myself... Who'd he fight?

Neo Zektole. Sure wouldn't want to piss him off, seeing as how he tossed GIII around so easily.
  23. I have to say this was the best damn movie I have seen all year and in my opinion, was much cooler than Spiderman 2. I also have to note that this have a HUGE Fantastic Four influence A family of five with super powers much like the Fantastic Four Violet - same powers as Mrs. Richards (not bid FF comic reader ) Elastigirl - same powers as Reed Richards The bad guy has no abilities but uses gadgets instead like Doctor Doom. Matching Costumes Um, there's probably more, this movie is simply amazing and you NEED to see it. Quite funny too.
  24. Still a couple of months of waiting for vol. 6 and up because of negotiations.
  25. Well, he destroyed one of 3 control medals, so maybe. M y favorite part was when Dreadnought used Warrior Guyver Vamore as a human rocket.
