  1. No word at the moment, don't worry I'm sure if somthing gets done guyver fans will find out some how, after all we have our ways Shenzon, I would hope that they had, but, I guess not. Meh, whatever.
  2. Well, if the two units (Sean's and the Guyver Zoalord's) were the same, make things a bit interesting. Would there be any residual effects (of any kind) be left over from the Guyver Zoalord because, if there would be, then Sean's Unit most likely wouldn't be the same as the Guyver Zoalord's. Even the coloring and texture isn't a guarantee you're looking at a match. Unless the color never changes. Then your possiblity of it being the same one goes up. Quite a bit too I would think. But, if the answer is "no" in either case, then there has to be some residual effect on the Unit from its previous host, either actual memories, or distinct patterns of thought, anything really, to distinguish it from millions of other Units laying about in the known Universe. Really there are too many "if's" that need to be answered for anything to be said more concrete. My guess is that in general the Relics call to the Units. But then why didn't Sho and Agito get a call? Probably because the affects of the call are different per Relic. Kinda like a fingerprint. It could also be that both Units are more modern (like by several million years) and don't have a Relic they're attached to as the Relics were run by the Creators (or Ancients, or whatever you wann a call 'em) and they needed someway to have a ship to Unit communications system. Kind of like the systems used for airplane to carrier or airfield communications. It's a theory mind you. I'm working it out as I'm typing. Or it could be just a pilot to ship communications system. Not a pilot as in airplanes, but as in ships, water-based ships. Since there are no visible physical controls (aside from the vertical cloumn Sho gets held in to pilot the Relic), there has to be some form of communication between pilot and ship for any control to be wielded by the pilot. Unless it's run by and AI, but neither Relic has given a distinct feel of an AI run ship. But again, too many "if's" unanswered for me to feel comfortable to say anything. Too things to make assumptions about. It's unnerving.
  3. Either that or he's laughing his ass off in some secluded corner of the world. But, I would imagine that he's repairing the damage done to him. I would imagine that you would write in the next portion. Of course, you could be really screwed up and mean, and hold off on it for a few parts of the story. And I don't mean for you to actually do that. I would imagine I'd be come after with a really big stick. I'd rather not end up in the hospital, thanks.
  4. It's um, it's fricking huge! It is kinda lame I agree. It's also really funny to look at as you really wouldn't expect it from the manga. It's just...I don't know, bizarre in a way.
  5. I'll admit, I am looking forward to when they produce the second season. I know I said when and not if. Call me overly optimistic about the whole thing. Anyway, yeah, I definitely want to see more. I just hope they think it's worth it. Anyway, if it were to take hold in a number of countries outside Japan, would they just forego the Japanese voiced and go straight to English?
  6. Largo, but assuming it's not a Warrior class unit, then what? And, you just don't write/say/do things that you'll get hurt for when the person is standing next you/reading over your shoulder. It's sort of common sense. And the scientists theorize the air was something like several million degrees just seconds after the Big Bang. So, yeah, you would fry. Even if you were frozen before. And again, McAvoy, assuming it's not? On a side note, the units have a temperature regulation?
  7. Wow. I really hope she wasn't leaning over your shoulder after you hit 'Submit'. I think I'd go crazy too. But, what the hell else is there to do besides sitting on your ass all day or training? That's gonna get boring real fast you know. You'd probably adapt by the time life showed up anyway, considering you're sitting there. You need energy somehow. And Unit's like the standards won't provide it for you. (Come to think of it, I don't think any of them will aside from Reaper, but if there's no life, well...) You'd end up becoming plant like with the whole photosynthesis or something similar. Even then, you'd probably end up doing an omni directional bit with the whole 'I can tell where everything damn thing is' tid bit, for oh, say half yocto yocto second considering the speed at the time of the big bang was like well, really high. It would be akin to: "Look mommy! It's a big bright light! Can I touch it? Never mind, it went bye-bye. Oooh, pretty lights!" No, seriously. In like 3 seconds, you'd get burnt to a crisp, armor or no armor. And on top of that, you're more likely to freeze to death instead of getting bored to death. Especially if the armor doesn't do much to protect you from the heat/cold. You're talking about sitting in something that's like -300 degrees F for 13.7 billion years. "Look Mommy! It's a giant popsicle!"
  8. If my guess is right, it'll take more than a few hackers before Matt and Sully decide to shut down. But, I don't think it'd happen anyway. I think there more likely to keep it open than anything else. But, it is good to see you again (or rather read).
  9. Hence the 'cabin fever' comment. Oh, and it could also be stir crazy. But, if you're sitting on your ass for 7 and a half billion years waiting for a life form to be created, other than you, odds are, you'll be a tad insane by the time life does meet you.
  10. And then, can it even communicate telepathically, or even verbally, is another part to question as well. Time can be a tricky issue. Well, it is tricky period. First of all, I assume you mean isolation, even after life begins. Though, how you do that is...darn near impossible I should think. Anyway, by the time a species becomes sentient enough to understand, it doesn't matter if the person trained or not. They would be considered a god anyway by the people, just because of the fact that he/she/it can do very 'magical' stuff. Given the current consensus of the scientific community, the age of the universe is somewhere around 13.7 billion years, give or take a few hundred thousand years. Back tracking a bit, from our time, our Earth is about 4.57 billion years old. About roughly a third of the universe. According to the timeline, Alkanphel was created roughly, 2.6 million years ago. Since the Creators were advanced enough to move from place to place where you traverse a great quantity of distance one way (in other words, they moved a hell of a long distance) in a relative short time in whatever way possible. Assuming, that their technological advances were about twice our pace, let's say it took them about a quarter of a million years from the equivelent of cavemen, to conquerors of space. So, that's about 3.1 million years ago. Now, let's assume that their homeworld's timeline looked vaguely like ours. You're looking at a guy who's twidling his thumbs for about 8 billion years. That's a lot of time to be sitting on your ass doing nada. That's also assuming they were in fact the first sentient species. In the end, you're talking about a really bad case of a rough equivelent of cabin fever. I would say space fever, but that just doesn't sound right. And, if everyone grew in power with time, I doubt a 1 million year old Creator would need much of a boost from a bio-armor.
  11. Did you check the pantry?
  12. Eh, some of it is creepy, I'll admit. Macs aren't that difficult, really, they're pretty user friendly. Granted you may run into a bit of trouble now and then, but for me, either PC or Mac works.
  13. I figure you add a bit of hair, claws and sharper teeth and you're good. Here's a question... Are you refering to the stereotypical lycan and vampire?
  14. Mmm, what do I like best about stories? They're engaging, they have this surreal and realistic quality about them. By no means does this include or exclude "Cool Magical Powers" as you so well put it. The characters develop over time, and not just stay the same mental age, or physical age for that matter. I also enjoy stories that have both action and down time. That's pretty much it though. Sometimes it's fun seeing the authors insert themselves into fiction if the characters aren't quite on the right path given their mentality. Also, no complete stereotypes, that is partials like a certain ethnic person doing some stereotypical things, and then doing other things that are partially or completely opposite of the stereotype. Some crazy is expected.
  15. I should think that Anubis' opposition ought to be thinking of ways to rid themselves of Anubis. Not running and hiding. Of course when the blood hounds have an appetite for your flesh, that would be a good motivator to run, I suppose. But, giving a werewolf a nuke would be infinitely worse. Which, if you tacked a Guyver or Guyver-like organism onto a Lycanlord that is essentially what would happen, I imagine. I would imagine your inspiration for the Lycanlords were the Lycan Werewolves themselves?
  16. Well, I didn't think I implied that they were the same person psychologically speaking. Because I know that who we are is based on our experiences, and it's sort of a given that since the two have had significant;y different experiences, that it would in fact result in different people. And as for Anubis' goons being psychotic, it's all a reflection on him. Given the fact that who he was before, and the trauma of what happened to result in his final transformation, would probably drive anyone insane, or even more so if they all ready were insane. But Malice is definitely, um what's the word? Psychotic doesn't quite cover it all I think. It's a bit more than that. Anubis' need to play god is just a bit unnerving as well. *shivers*
  17. To answer if I think there is a God? Sure. It would certainly explain some of the unexplainable things I couldn't begin to try and explain or comprehend. Understand? Good. Could there possibly be more than one? Maybe. Religion? Eh, it's a toughie. It's biased. It rarely looks at more than one viewpoint. Or perspective, depending on how one explains it. It makes all these labels that aren't always necessarily all encompassing. There are of course exceptions to the labels. There are certain things that just are, there are no labels to define them. Yet, as humans, we have to define them in some way that encompasses more than just a few. We're utterly and completely scared out of our wits as a collective of the completely unknown. Death, space, the future, whatever. We figuratively take a crap and piss in our pants, then have a massive coronary. If it explains to us everything, so be it. For so long, they thought the Earth was flat, simply because sailors were too afraid to go beyond that which they could see ("Captain! Captain! We're nearing the western edge of the planet!") It's part of why there are few traces of civilizations intermingling between the Americas and the other continents. Sure there wer instances of intermingling, but relatively speaking they were isolated instances. The Chinese visiting the West Coast, the Vikings saying hello in the North East. But, is God an almighty being? I wonder sometimes. Especially with a commandment stating "Thou shalt not worship any other god except me." Which indicates, yes there is actually more than one god, and that God is a jealous little fellow who only thinks of himself while appearing to be benevolent, and as was stated, he's a bit immature. Maybe a youngster compared to like say Zeus. One never knows.
  18. Aye, I didn't mean the circle bit literally. I know we all have a better understanding. I meant in realtive terms to the quesiton. And now, I have a huge headache from the explanation. Thank you. And conciousness is simply being 'awake' as it were. As in, not in bed and asleep. Now Conciousness, that would be self-aware, yes, but also the ability to better one self, regardless of a handicap, or impairment. Like lack of sleep. Which I am currently deprived of.
  19. Aye, the origins are definitely desired. And what happened with the others. Oh, and why 'Anubis'? He's not generally considered evil according to Egyptian mythology. That would have been 'Set'. Much more appropriate in the red dragon demon's case.
  20. So, Allen, here's a relatively intersting, and not to mention completely theoretical in its entirety. What would happen if you could have both on one person? On a side note, it's spelled 'matrices'. No 'X', just lonely ol' 'C'.
  21. Gee, I can feel the love all ready. And good. That means I can expand my project to the WOTG area too. Hopefully if it works right.... Well, we'll have to get there first, won't we? And, Allen, I would, really I would. But I have school (like you probably have a job) not to mention there is actually a whole lot of stuff I have yet to do on my **** list. Plus, about the only decent thing I can draw, are mountains and trees. Even that's not exactly what I'd call great. Besides, who knew becoming an engineer could tire one out?
  22. And that's where things would be a bit, um, odd, wouldn't it? But, theoretically that's impossible as there would be an entropic paradox, wouldn't there? And given their power, that's not something I'm willing to feel safe around. It would be a bit like the universe collapsing in on itself. Or is it reality? I can never get them straight when it comes to paradoxes, entrophy, and the like. Again, (and I feel like a broken record say this), in an all out no hold fight, it would be a bit difficult to see who wins and who is the real Jason. After all if you've died and been ressurected, are you still you? There are many things that come into play that would effect the outcome. Changing one would change things quite a bit. Even a small change as to the overall fitness or how well rested each were would affect the outcome. And some of the seemingly small things have very large affects too. Allen, technically both are the real Jason. If you mean from our perspective, it depends, who would you rather have win? And yes, Allen, I do mean you as in you personally. Same with W'Kar and Anubis, there are various variable at work, and in a no holds all out fight, it might be difficult to determine. But again, who would you rather have win?
  23. I agree there are a number of loose threads to the fan-fic. But that isn't neccessarily a bad thing per se, though seeing some of the threads tied up nicely would be, um, nice. Besides, with a few loose threads (and screws), here and there, you can let your imagination run wild, though if yours tends to go on a psychotic rampage, that might not be a good idea.
  24. Perhaps. But it will still take time. After all, others have to find out about it first. Not to shoot your hopes down, though. But realistically, chances are unless they are really lucky, they most likely won't stumble upon the article, or the link.
  25. Somehow, I highly doubt that he getting a wife and getting laid would do much in the way to correct that. Even if they were to come and dote on him, two and a half million years is a bit of a long time to stew and hate would have definitely cemented itself by then. Then again, I'm no psychological expert, nor do I pretend to be. However, for Sho, just by getting involved with the Guyver means that nothing will ever be the same. Nor would it be wise to dream or pretend it will be. Keepin your mind on the "what ifs" of life will do you no good, nor will pretending like you're a small child pretending to be dinosaurs, or a princess or a knight. It may seem cruel to say that, but it is in fact, a fact. On the upside, at least his enterance onto the stage with Chronos, meant that he in effect by just bonding to the armor, ended Guyot's plans to bond with the Guyver himself. Even if Sho hadn't gotten involved, by no means does that mean things would have been better. Indeed, it probably was fortunate that he did get involved. He and others like him (and I'm not really counting Agito on this as his motivations are slightly...darker in nature) will fight for freedom, and for the right to choose. Not just between the big things, but the small mundane things as well. Others, like Guyot, or even Alkanphel, will fight merely for power and to maintain that power. Much lies within the perspective we look at things. From many points of view, we can get a clearer picture, but by no means does that mean we will get in its entirety. And no, one couldn't really blame one for trying to reach their goal by the means they do, though there are sometimes other paths that are less self-destructive. But, if events like what happened to Sho, can one really go back to how things were before? And given EVERYTHING that has happened, I highly doubt that. If he survives until the end, that is.
