  1. Very interesting theory, psycho. I'll keep it under my hat for further research (heh, heh, heh) in the future.
  2. Well said, psycho. Well said indeed. I, too, have been an avid reader and admirer of this site for many a year, and if the fates are willing to keep this place alive, so shall I remain as well. To all of the writers, animators, artists, and mods of WarriorGuyver.com, we salute you, and commend you for your resolve, tenacity, and downright stubborness to let this wonderful site fade away. If it takes some extra time to keep it going on, fine w/ me. Life is our adventure to follow, and the paths we take may lead us one way, only to draw us back when we least expect it.
  3. Anyway, largo, I finally got my copy of Volume 7, and I have to say, it was well worth the waiting. I've also noticed something interesting: whenever Chronos optimizes people into the Hyper Zoanoid level, they tend to get a little over-zealous in their power. Neo-ZX-Tole was really showing off his new abilities against Aptom, and was reveling in not only being able to take Aptom on in single combat, but also being able to damage Guyver 3 as he went for his revenge against them. Then, of course, when Mizuki called out for Sho and he came out as Gigantic Guyver, he started acting like a spoiled child as Sho showed him just what power really means. Thought he was the s*** when he used his Blast Tempest attack to try and destroy them all, including the town, only to have Sho show him up with the Giga-Smashers. Remember, bad guys: you mess w/ the family, you will get the horns of the bull in your a**. Edit: Darn, hate it when I mess up my grammar.
  4. Yes, indeed, my ally Largo, and to you, my faithful comrades, I say unto thee: We must not question the great ones who created this wondrous temple for us avid followers of the Guyver Code. Their judgment and knowledge are great, and many things weigh upon them as they continue the Chronicles within. We must hold true to our faith in their wisdom, and rejoice in the hope that sustains us as we await the arrival of the next chapter in this great milestone in the annals of the Guyver Code. P.S. Someone get me a script. I'm too good for this stuff! P.S.S. Keep the faith, fellas. Good things do come to those who wait.
  5. Now my good man largo, just remember this fact about female Guyvers: their chest plates (or boobs as you see fit to call them ) are much more conical in shape, as well as being much more raised away from the upper torso. The fellas are much broader in form, and w/o any truly raised portions, save for the additional gravity orbs on the sides. Trust me, my good man, it doesn't exactly scream out BOOBS! to me. Just reminds me that if any body ticks off good ol' Sho as the Gigantic, they just might be on the receiving end of the Giga-Smashers (can anyone say, hasta la pasta, baby!?)
  6. In WG's case, Largo, here's a passage from his DF: Just recall for a moment, WG's HSL never went off-line. It was his control medal reducing the number of functions it could do so that it could repair the damage that had been done to it by having to control all of that gravitational energy thrown at him from both the remaining Zoalords and the newly-made Guyvers. Although it is composed of 4 partial C-medals to form the more powerful parallel processing unit needed to control all of the abilities and power that WG has, it just barely held on to all that power given to WG, long enough for WG to give the Guyver Zoalord a taste of his own medicine, yeah, but it still left WG in bad shape from the power overload, as mentioned above. When he got back from Time War, he could not disengage the armor, and he was again powered down, with only one set of swords, and his shoulder guards were different, again noting the powered-down state. The HSL was probably working overtime to supply the energy needed to help with the repairs. I think WG was in that state for a few days, maybe a week, when Chronos caught him, and then, Cyber Guyver Green attacked him. During that fight, WG soon came back to full strength, and whupped CGG into oblivion, although he did cause G2 (a revived Risker) to gain his new speed and enhanced durability by accident when CGG's remnants landed on him, then merged with him moments later. That's my take on it. Drop some info if something clicks.
  7. Just a little aside for you, sonarelite, right from the Life-Force Guyver's DF: As you can see, you are mostly right, save for the fact that it was the failure of the HSL system in LFG that in turn allowed the Darmon draining system to activate to allow LFG to compensate for its lack of available power and energy reserves. Both WG and Assassin Guyver (Isis) were witnesses to its hunger and drive (ouch.) As for what Juggs said about who and what Darmon actually was, we can only ponder and wait for an answer from Sully, Matt, and their pantheon from on high
  8. Too true, Armageddon, too true. What gave Lar'cass that lucky break, IMO, was W'Kar's interest in the Matrix. Seeing as it was what gave him problems before, W'Kar took it with him to make sure that doesn't happen again. Also, thanks for the name of the Creator. Didn't double check it before I wrote my msg. Kudos, dude.
  9. In following Armageddon's last note, W'Kar then proceeded to teleport in front of the Warrior Kavzar Commander, catch his opponent in a field of fluctuating energies, and slam his powered up fist right through both of the WKC's Control Medals / Crystals. Ouch. Ding dong, the big bad yellow ugly is dead. W'Kar 1, Creator (?) 0.
  10. Thanks for the tidbit, McAvoy.
  11. I agree w/ Armageddon. When it's done and you're liking what you've created, then it's ready for others. Take your time, Matt. Perfection and creative thinking are never good when they are too rushed. Let go, go with the flow, etc. We'll stick around w/ drooling chops, but we have patience, and faith.
  12. Hey guys, adding my two-cents here. In WG, it was mentioned that before the Creators threw that moon at Earth, they used their combined telepathic power to stun Alkanphel, and to do something else to him as well that has caused him to need to hibernate a lot of the time he has been on Earth since then. Not to mention using up nearly all of his power to destroy the moon, which really put a strain on him as well. The combination of all of that has been quite the deterrent for Alkanphel to be out and about. That's why Imakarum is running the show, so that Alk can try and do some damage management on himself. That's one reason he wants to get a Unit for himself in the end, so that it can repair a great deal of the damage that has been done to him, return him to full power, and allow him to "storm the gates of heaven." Of course, if this differs in certain areas in the graphic novels / manga / anime, I haven't had the chance to review it in depth. But, that's what I think is the main deal. Let me know your thoughts, k?
  13. I know I'll probably get the same answer that largo will (can anyone say, "NO COMMENT!") for asking Matt if this fic is still being processed, but hey, I'm a fan. A little bit of pressure, properly applied with a lot of begging and huge offerings of Oreos, sometimes helps the writer along, unless of course, life in general is doing its dirty deed to keep him from what he loves to do. Anywho, if Matt's working on the fic, that's good enough for me. Love WGC and his Ultimus form, a young kid with the attitude and power to make a difference for himself and the people he cares about (anybody hurts his girlfriend, and watch out for the whuppin that's a-comin'! )
  14. largo wrote: well yeah, but it's just the Guyver itself. Open up the chest plates, the cells glow nice and bright, inflate just a little bit for full intensity , and then, zap! Plus, the chest plates open downward in the preview (nice touch!)
  15. Speaking of Nano Xetel, I'd really like to see a DF of him if anyone still has one lying around somewhere. I only read about him briefly in a few fan-fics, especially when he was in the fight against Atrahasis in "Meeting of the Warriors" and kinda gotta his nanites scattered for some time (I think?), and he sounds like a cool cat. A Zoagod whose optimization didn't go as planned, thinks his father is dissapointed w/ him because of it, then he all of a sudden becomes one of the top a** kickers around. Sure would like to read up more on him. Anybody whose got the down low on this hip cat, drop me an email, please, huh, would ya? P.S. Much appreciated, fellas.
  16. Hate to do it myself, as I think Dark Nova's character is quite the a** kicker, but W'Kar has the edge in experience over most of the WG characters. His energy draining ability has versatility written all over it, and the fact that he can withstand so much damage and still remain in full control of his abilities is a real deal-breaker. Given a few more years of intense training and understanding of her unit's strengths & ranges in its new form, Dark Nova might very well take W'kar by the short and curlies and heave-ho him right through the heart of a star, so to speak. Until then, gotta give my props to W'Kar in this one. He's one bad mama jama, and he knows it. Arrogant little cuss.
  17. happen to remember the name of that one, xtro? I've a ton of pics of both regular and Hyper Zoanoids, so if a name rings a bell, let us know, k? Thanks.
  18. Heads up for all u happy headhunters: Volume 7, Armor of the Gods , will be on shelves @ Best Buy on November 6! Around eleven days! Plus, the preview they showed @ the end of Volume 6, showing off Neo-Zektole, Aptom, and finally, of course, Gigantic Guyver in all his power and glory . . . ah, it's good to be a Guyver fanatic!
  19. Hey fellas, I remember printing off a bunch of the Zoanoid pics some time ago. I'll take a look there to see if any of the names on the Wiki pages I printed are there, and if any of them look to have any vibrational weapons. Like Matt said, though, just might be an improvement on a weapon he had earlier, like when he was being controlled by Khan as Evil / Chaos Aptom. I let u know what I find.
  20. As I said before, SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEET! Also, was just on Wikipedia, and the article it has on the series/manga/anime also stated that..... SPOILER ALERT!!! If you don't want to know more, stop reading! ... when Sho went to free Aptom from Khan's control, Bio-Freezer went to help out, but ended up sacrificing himself to aid Sho and save Aptom. Aptom now has Bio-Freezer's powers, as well as Khan's powers as well (?) It also states that on his body are characteristic weapons of his "victims", as follows: 1) his head "door" is Zek-Tole's main blaster (duh!) 2) the cold emitting organs of Bio-Freezer are visible on his body 3) spikes on his forearms that are hi-frequency vibration spears, a Molecule Vaporizer (?), and the power to go invisible (from being powered up by Khan as Evil Aptom) 4) particle acceleration beam weapons from the Zoanoid Zangallo (class?) on his chest and forearms Just look up "Guyver" on Wiki, and it should be a nice read. Printed it myself a few minutes ago for my own records (heh, heh, heh) P.S. Also names a few of the Zoanoids Aptom has added to his collection.
  21. Hey fine by me, the character's concept was sweet. Can't wait to see what is in store for him.
  22. Ah well, still, it's a day worth celebrating, W'Kar. Happy birthday, and many happy returns on your own personal day. :mura: : :apt: Keep up the awesome work, man.
  23. Aranor wrote: In my opinion, probably more in the lines of Kali, the goddess of death. Shiva, the goddess of destruction, though, is a nice idea. I also think that Ira wouldn't have the mental fortitude to at least try to channel some of the W'Kar's drive to heal itself with its psycho-tendencies as well as Greg did. He's like Jason (Dreadnought) in that way, beat him down a bunch, and he will still get up to kick your a** in the end.
  24. This particular thread is for those of us who have read the Twilight Guyver fan-fic, and r wondering how much more our buddy Jason Duncan has written. So far, it has been stated that Twilight will be in WG's universe, and his DF is done, but the story he started was left off on a cliffhanger battle between the brothers Nathan (Twilight) and Gabriel (now a Chronos Proto-Zoalord!) Just wanted to hear back from the writer, or any one else, just how much they think Twilight will add to the story (either now in 7DOH or after), or just how skilled he might become under the tutelage of someone, say like, Dreadnought, Zeus, or even W'Kar for that matter (yikes on the last one!) Drop a few lines, anybody, and let's hear what the floor has to say on Twilight Guyver! P.S. By the way, Jay, very cool character. I think he will be an awesome addition to the site, and the fan-fics. Keep up the hard work, and many kudos, man.
  25. SWEEEET . . . makes u wonder if the fan fic fellas just might use this if / when they decide to make a DF for Aptom in the WG universe, since Aptom there has been able to absorb an entire Proto-Zoalord during the battles he's been in. All hail Master Takaya!!!
