Analysis of the New Anime Series
Raven replied to zeo's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
I don't think they changed the hyper-sensors. I (unfortunately) don't have the manga but I recall someone saying that Guyver I's unit deactivated after a sonic attack by some bat-like Zoanoids. This weakness caused the CM to malfunction, which made it for the sensors impossible to detect the Zoanoids. Remember that Sho was inside a sound negating bubble, the sonic attack wasn't directed at the CM but it still might have been effected by it. That's my theory anyway -
That's great news The only thing that's left to say then is: Thanks for all the work you guys are putting into this and I'm really looking forward to the next part!

Hey, you guys earned every praise. I never meant to insinuate that introducing WG (or other more powerfull charachters) would make the story boring. What I was trying to explain is that I hope the regular Guyvers won't be forgotten. One thing I always regretted in the original fics is that the stories focused more on the more powerfull charachters, for which you need more powerfull opponents, which puts the the standard types out of play. The Guyver on itself is such a great charachter, you don't really need a more powerfull version of it. I'm rambeling again What I'm trying to say is: because there is a connection now (at least, that's how I feel) between the reader and the regular Guyvers, it would be a shame if they were pushed to second place. So I hope you won't forget about them when the big guns arrive. (Why couldn't I explain it like this the first time? Geez ... )

I read both chapters yesterday and I all I can say is: wow! Congratulations to the team, 'cause that was the best Guyver fan-fiction I've read ... ever. I'd especially want to conrgatulate Mr. Cox; you kept me glued to my screen 'till the last word. You, sir, are a very good writer. Zeo, I loved the tech-talk (like the part where Jason gets in the Beta armor for the first time, very nice work on the details there) Please continue this in future fics, cause it really added to the realism of it all (as far is you buy into it all of course) I found it really cool that you even used some existing (although in prototype-stage) tech (the boomers for example, for those who are wondering). I have one negative thing though. I really enjoyed the way you guys portraid the 'standard' guyvers. Actually, you did too good a job, 'cause now I don't feel the need for a more powerfull unit (can't believe I just said that). I'm actually not looking forward to it (still can't believe I'm saying this). I like Jason the way he is at the moment, I like the guyvers the way they are ... when you bring in the WG, everything changes because here's a (lot) more powerfull unit which can do pretty much anything (compared to a standard G-unit) which, for me, spoils part of the fun. The fight with the Grakken eg, was excellent, no need for a more powerfull unit there. See what I mean? Sorry, I just keep rambeling sometimes. Thx for the fics and keep up the great work!!

Alkanphel's Abilities
Raven replied to Andersong's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
This might be a stupid question, but did the zoa-crystals that Alk gave to his Zaolords ever grow back? I mean, if you look at pictures from Alk, there are no "holes" where the crystals would have been (not that I know where they were on his body in the first place, but you know what I mean). Or maybe I'm just as blind as a mole Or maybe his body compensated and the wounds just healed without re-growing the crystals? ... Any ideas? -
I rented the dvd last weekend. A very good movie in my opinion. If you liked "Croughing Tiger, Hidden Dragon" and "Bichunmoo", you have to see this one

I have to agree with Xtro. The orbital frames are my favorite Mechs, for the same reasons he mentioned .... and I just like their design a lot. Although I have to admit, the first time I saw Jehuty I couldn't help but laugh with the location of the ****pit . It seemed a bit inappropriate at first ( or maybe my mind was just in the gutter ) As for a non-tech Mech, the Guyver of course. Don't think I have to explain why

Where did the Guyver come from?
Raven replied to daveblackeye152's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
LOL. Don't worry, everyone has those once in a while. And I find your explanation understandable enough. I have to agree with Zeo. The fact that the hosts unit and the Gigantic upgrade work so well together, can't be just because of the CM in my opinion. I believe the biological aspect also has to be compatible in order for it to work so well. Another thing. I believe we've overlooked an important clue here. We know the Guyver organism is highly adaptable. This ability comes from the organism itself, not the CM. The relic was able to do the same thing. It adapted (or at least part of itself) into a gigantic form. It changed it's original form into something new to accommodate to it's host wishes. Not sure if I explained it clearly enough. I hope you can understand what I mean here. -
Over here, it's not even out yet!!!! I have to wait 'till 14th of july damn it!!!! AARRRGGHHH Sorry, got carried away For those who have seen it, please don't post any spoilers! If you can't control yourself and really have to post some spoilers, please put a warning in your message. Thx!

Where did the Guyver come from?
Raven replied to daveblackeye152's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
Hmm, good question. Never thought of the CM being used to control creatures other then the Guyver organism. I always assumed that Relics were Guyver organims themselves because the Gigantic unit is compatible with a standard unit. Ok, it could be said that it's the work of the CM, but I think their would still need to be some compatibility between the two creatures used (biologically speaking). Also, the Gigantic unit (which is a relic in a way) behaves and can be controled just as a standard, although more powerfull, unit. If the Creators could make a Guyver unit, why wouldn't they be able to shape and mold the G-organism (organims?) into a ship? Of course, I could be completely wrong here. -
I don't think a Guyver has telescopic sight, night vision goggles or anything like that. As stated before, we don't know how the hyper sensors work for sure, but something like a HUD is too technological, IMO. Remember a Guyver is still a organic being. My theory always has been that the hyper sensors are more a form of radar, perhaps much like Daredevil's, that are more accurate then anything we know at the moment. I think they work more on an intuitive (sp?) level than feeding the data as cold, hard facts to the host. This could explain how Sho knew that there were Zoanoids (and that they were Zoanoids in the first place) in the hangar. As for Agito firing so accuratly at Zektoll; don't forget that it was Agito himself who planned the attack on the school in the first place, so he knew Zektoll's position up front.

My next fic, you decide which story will happen next.
Raven replied to Sully's topic in Old Important/Great Topics
I was thinking the same thing. Sully, would you be willing to combine two plots? eg. the "Cloaked man" plot and the "Scouting the Creator Empire" plot rolled into one story. -

I'd like to see a story in which we get to see the testing and development of a new armor type (or the Blue armor V2) .. I love all that tech stuff. Let James go wild!! Although, seeing more of the Creator world would also be very interesting!
