Well for me the monthly chapter is a "preview" in a language I don't understand that keeps my hype high till when I will get my hands on the italian version
-
It works fine for me. the chapter the G4 posted is the same of last month but with more pages. Am I wrong? at least I noticed 3 more pages than what I can remember (especially the 2 pages image of the meeting between guyot and guyver I).

I have to say that I'm lucky because in Italy we have Starcomics (http://www.starcomics.com/default.aspx?AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport=1). This company is publishing a lot of mangas and guyver is one of them. Guyver started to be released monthly since 1994 (http://www.starcomics.com/ShopDetail.aspx?Titolo=56) till we reached the japanese release. Luckily they continue to publish it on a different manga collection called "Storie di KAPPA" (I would translate is in KAPPA's tales) . This is a collection of all the mangas that haven't any more a "real" publishing schedule, or mangas that aren't that famous (or anymore famous) but they still have fans that started the series and are still willing to buy it (like guyver), basically realasing them when they have a full tankabon (is this the name for a collection of different chapters, right?). This is the last volume of Guyver realeased in June 2014 , 176 pages. The previous one was relased in May 2013. I don't understand why in Italy we are able to publishing it and in US not though Us is a bigger market. I could be that comics are one of the main reason of it. Italy doesn't have such strong comic culture as US (I started to read mangas before comics. I think that I got to know comics through television before paper, with this ... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0059968/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1) and maybe that's why mangas were able to have a better selling window.

I wonder what will be his next move... fight or flight? it's a natural response against threats...
-
Well... he was able to recover from his father transformation into enzyme I and the fact that he killed him with his own hands (although unconscious). I don't think he has any PTS. and btw he is the hero
-
exactly the same feeling.

In my opinion humans were the last of their "living beings as weapon". they also tried other forms, like dinos.

The guyver design I like most is the guyver 0, the one used by the creators for the first time on a human. I think that eventually lisker would have realized that his damaged control medal meant a guyver not at its full ability and power. useless. I always wondered what would have happened if Lisker were a zoanoid... and not only human... zoanoid + guyver ...omg...
-
We don't know if Apollon has a real guyver unit. we only know that his armor is made by the same material of the guyver control unit. I imagine there is the possbility that, from the time they were on Earth, they improved the guyver technology. or maybe they abadoned it because of its intrinsic problem with the human beings for a different technology.

mhh I should check the italian version for a comparison.. I don't rember this sentence
-
that is what I was calling "alky imprinting"
-
I agree with you. I should have written maybe and not only also in my sentence. It could be both reason but the one you mentioned is the main cause. he used all his energy a power to stop the dwarf planet hitting Earth.

I'm beginning to think after Guyot and some of the other zoalords that Barcas has made poor judgement choosing. Thats why Archenphel just decided to take Imakirum and wipe his mind, give him a new one, because he was probably tired of Barcas recruiting back stabbing ingrates; such as Guyot as zoalords. I mean, its obvious Barcas is second in leadership next to Archenphel and thats probably why half of the other zoalords look to Barcas to solve their problems. I mean, Barcas is smart as a scientist. But when you go deep within Barcas's common sense; street smart wise, he doesn't have any at all.It seemed Barcas was a very superstitious old man when he met Archenphel. He practically worships him and treats Archenphel as if he were a god because as I see it. He looks at him that way. The first thing he does is kneel before Archenphel in his temple on all fours. Everything Barcas loves, links back to Archenphel. He could be eating with Shin and Purgstal and he'd bring Archenphel up out of the blue. Its the only thing he thinks about. At least what was fun about Guyot is that he was screwing someone over to better his benefit which was fun to see. I also found it very hilarious that Richard comes off as a major hypocrite when he refers Agito/ Guyver 3 as a traitor. Its because of that Agito wants to sit on the throne of Cronos, so does Guyot. But to do that, Guyot wants a Guyver Unit. In doing so, he's betraying Archenphel according to Barcas....who by the way ratted him out to the other zoalords. In turn I'm sure Barcas telepathically contacted Alky and told him. Than Guyot gets pissed when confronted by Alky in turn. So in Richard's mind : "I want a Guyver Unit. I'm not giving up the remover, I'll kill Archenphel, and get a Guyver Unit...that sounds like a better idea. I can beat him because I'm Richard Guyot! No one can beat me! I'll murder my maker!" So, In Guyot's case when it involves Agito being a traitor ; Its the pot calling the kettle black. At least Agito admits to genocide when it comes to how he feels. He's more honest about it and his friends knew he worked with Cronos for a while. Just for a long time. Sho and his friends didn't think Agito would knife them in the back too. If you think that balcus was a man of the 15th century... on a island full of fairy tales bacome true... well.. alky IS a god! (found inside a temple ) about the loyality of the zoalords. I think that they are all connected to Alky because of their zoacrystal. I think that alkys diminished power is also due to the fact that part of it is in the zoacrystals that derived from his own. and again I cannot remember where I read it but the zoalords needs some kind of "imprinting" by alky for their loyality and this isn't possible when he is sleeping (this was the case for guyot as far as I can understand). howerver due to his continuos "hibernation" period, Balcus took his place. that's why the zoalords look at him as a leader. maybe not anymore but Sho wasn't trusting in agito that much.. and we don't know yet what happened at the end of agito and sho last fight... I am really curious about it.
-
I am not completely sure about it but Guyot was the last zoalord created and since he was "produced" during a alky's sleeping period he didn't have the submission "imprinting" to Alky. This could have influenced his line of action. It could be that he was in a hurry to gain more power before alky awakening. and this means using a guyver unit. we don't know how the guyver can modify and amplify zoalord powers. and... I will consider richard as a deviate mind frome the beginning... with his own logic and rules. he was cruel and evil since his first apparition in the manga, with Agito uncle and then, with Sho father. more mysterious is Balcus zoalord candidates selectection... he also selected khan and the other 2 rebel zoalords... maybe all three of them were also produced during Alky sleeping times... do we know which is the new Richard puprose now that he has only a shadow of his former powers (he has only a dummy zoacrystal right?)?

thinking about Khan, is his ability to absorb the zoanoids to genereate a huge dragon body a way to increase his energy levels? if Aptom was able to "catalogue" his dna (he would have had some chance to absorb part of Khan's body) maybe now he has a similar power but without the need to increase is size? or maybe the ability to go gigantic... I don't know... my mind is full of imagination about what apton could do... in my opinion, at this point of the story he needs something to stay at the level of the guyver or at least closing a little bit the gap. Otherwise what can he do to help Sho in his mission? I agree that is the zoacrystal the source of the power of the zoalords and it gives them the energy and the strength to make use of it. that's why the collected zoacrystals were guarded not by mere zoanoids but by Caerleon.
-
If Apollion is an unknown entity how comes that he has full access to the shinla island built for Alky by the inhabitants (and not by the Creators)? As far as I know only 3 persons knows about it: Alky Balcus and Murakami. and if he is after the zoalords... why not take alky zoacrystal? he is sleeping now... what if apollion is Balcus trying to recover all the zoacrystal to give them back to Alky?????? Good point about Caerleon. I have no explanation. maybe he was in the wrong place at the wrong time and Apollion couldn't risk to reveal himself yet.
-
I completely agree with Yuki.
-
however zoanoid and zoalord are based on human DNA from Planet Earth. the bio armor is an Alien being. we don't know if Aptom would be able to control something completely different from "our" DNA.
-
I think that aptom cannot absorb Sho bioarmor. Do you remember what happend to the "fake sho" generated from his arm? It tried to absorb the guyver but the control medal didn't allow it. in my opinion it will happen the same in case of aptom cells. they will be rejected. Only Sho, a conscious and alert Sho, can allow aptom to envelop his guyver and also use it's energy. the control medal controlled guyver (as was during enyme 2 fight) is a warmachine focused only to protect its host.

and next month... back to the shila island... this would be disappointing! (although a chat between the segawa siblings could shed some light on Apollion mistery... before the battle with Guyot...)

Wall of Text!!! Since i'm not able to read japanese and I'm waiting to buy the italian manga published by Starcomics, it could be that if you have read the english translated chapter you already know what I will write in this reply. Anyway this is my opinion about Apollion. It apperas to me that in this last chapter Apollion is using his "energy blades" not to stop Guyot (let's say also to stop) but most important to block the fire that is moving towards the town nearby. you can see that the two scars made by the blades are crossing just in front of the fire preventing its advance. and now the question is: why? Why a Creator wants to protect humans since they are failed experiments that would have to be destroyed by a dwarf planet thrown against the Earth ages ago? My answer is... Because apollion is human! or at least in part. He is a zoalord in disguise. Although he seems to use powers beyond the "standard" zoalord powers, in my opinion apollion is Murakami on a mission. what's his mission? collect zoacrystals. why? to give them back to Arcanfel (this is the Italian verision of alky name, more close to the word "archangel" maybe a biblical reference that our takaya yoshiki loves (and his battleform resemble angel wings)) so as to help him to gain part of the lost power. remember that all the zoalord zoacrystals come from Alky zoacrystal so it makes sense to think that part of his power was transferred to the other zoalords, leaving him weaker. and if you think about it, Apollion is collecting the crystals of dead zoalords, with the exception of Edward Caerleon that in my opinion was in the wrong place at the wrong time , and looking for those of the rebel zoalords (at least for now). Why Murakami? If I am not wrong (please correct me if i'm making a mistake), I remember Imakarum leaving the Shila Island after placing our sleeping beauty to "bed", saying something like "I am sorry but I have to do this". Maybe he was planning this charade. This is a hypothesis, but could it be that imakarum battleform was processed in the original Aly cocoon, giving him "special abilities" unlike the other zoalords that wer processed in more modern chambers? or processed in a different way, giving him more powers, to help more efficiently Alky? Wasn't Balcus saying something about this? I can't remember. And, thinking of why apollion is interested in the fate of the town, don't forget that Imakarum remember everything of who he was before is ascension to one of the zoalord divinity, and maybe he isn't completly changed in a slave of alky will.
