well based on the design in the earlier reply which one do you think would look out of this world at the same time, functional.

Basically I need to find a good design for my flying rodents that are unique to the story. The one problem with flying animals is that most of them are clumsy whenever they are on the ground. Here's an abtract from the pterosaur article ""But using all four legs, it takes less than a second to get off of flat ground, no wind, no cliffs," he said. "This was a good thing to be able to do if you lived in the late Cretaceous period and there were hungry tyrannosaurs wandering around." "Birds use legs to launch, wings to flap. They don’t get launch power from wings or flight power from legs. In fact, when a bird is aloft, its legs become payload, or cargo. The muscle on the two back limbs that provides the power to launch must be carried and therefore limits size. Released of that handicap by employing all four legs to launch, giant pterosaurs could fly despite the fact that they were roughly the same size and shape as modern-day giraffes." http://www.4shared.com/file/101514190/5726...g_design_3.html http://dc146.4shared.com/download/10182149...ntDownload=true

True but sfx alone do not make the show, it's the pacing, the story and .etc that makes a toku show good. And the pacing, battles and story is the problem with some of the post-Den-O rider shows nowadays.
-
This is a wing design which allows the creature to walk, run and fly.
-
In my opinions, Den-O has adversely changed the entire franchise of Kamen Rider. First off the budget cuts to series like Kiva and perhaps Decade. I think it was the money siphoned into the Den-O movies that ruined Kiva, a series with great potential. Good storyline and character development is less emphasize compared with slapstick comedy.
-
Do you think that Den-O's appearance has affected the Riders that came after it? Discuss this intelligently.
-
Hey guys, After watching a british sci fi tv series, Primeval, I was thinking of rewritiing a Den-O into a more serious and darker series. Time travel since the beginning of its conception has had bad effects on the timelines, characters of the stories that allow it. Den-O despite the comedy and antics, doesn't give time travel the seriousness it needs. Time travel is a dangerous tool that if something goes wrong, then somethings might affect entire timelines. whatathink?

So what are their roles.

Err bobby do these announcements in the other thread.. this for plans... I will be back to work on this next week.
-
You draw too? I will come with something and you see whether it's okay
-
hmmm it's not so different from other rodents as so to speak.... They might work at mouse-size but then if they want to grow to the size of a tiger or lion I think the dimensions will be different. I will illustrate this soon.
-
that's the skull? Nice find.... but do you have it in 3/4 view too?
-
Hey guys does anyone have the picture of the skull of Grasshopper Mouse? I heard that little critter eats other mice and even centipedes and scorpions!
-
that one is a vampire bat's front incisors..... it seems the incisor is a very adaptable teeth in mammals. Ok here some examples of incisors being used for other things and having odd shapes But I don't understand how this fella eat without upper incisors.
-
You got a point Zeo But then if the rat is to grow to a large size won't those teeth need modifications? In my story my rats are slightly bigger than those on GOUGH ISLAND. I think when I have the time I will post on the teeth designs I have so far...
-
I see... But I think now the problem is to see what shape for carnivorous rodents incisor should be shaped so that it can sharpen by himself and not become overgrown as long as he has "bones" to gnaw.
-
You mean the list of the rat's menu? Yes..... But now I need to know what shape of the incisors would be best at these 1.self sharpen 2. able to cut flesh 3. able to stab
-
But I dunno if this place is the best place to ask such a crazy question. Ok, in my story which is in progress. I am designing some predatory rodents which I need some scientific fact to support this design of the teeth. As you can see the Rodent skull hasn't changed much for millions of years in fact they all look very similar. What kinda teeth will be needed or teeth shape would be best for a rodent's incisors to form so it can stab flesh. I have a few designs but I calculated that the creature might have what they call a teeth occulsion or overgrown teeth if I use my current designs. I would also wanna ask whether is it possible for a molar to turn into another teeth shape? Rodents only got molars and incisors. so I do not want to change the number of teeth but only the overall shape So far I stumbled upon Nixon's Future Evolution book about animals that will exist after Man's extinction. Inside there were rodents that evolved into meat eating predators, but I do not like the shape of the rat's teeth in. It could cause dental occlusion or something. I think this type of teeth might end up like this.... Gopher with overgrown teeth Can anyone help me?

Toku Warrior 18. Magi opens the card slot on his left wrist guantlet and takes out a remant card but Deacde shoots the card out of his hands. 19. Decade takes out his Deca Booker Sword to slash at Kero 23. But Kero drops to the ground into a frog like position to evade his sword and simultaneously punches Decade's knee causing him to fall down. 24. Genbu: Nice Move!

One word: Awesome! So bobby have you got your storyline and characters out yet. Not just the main characters but also the minor characters.
-
Hi Bobby, try to get Medulla to attack Decade in Ep1 I will be putting Medulla's world to the 8th World that Decade will visit so you will have more time to develop on Medulla.
-
then you just have to see what features make Psychosians distinct from other monsters from other series.
-
well if they can make people unconscious, why shouldn't they look scary?
-
That depends on you. Study the creatures of other rider series then just look back again to avoid copying them. something like this? http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/attachmen...achmentid=98431
