yeah, i was going to clarify the House of M stuff but thanks for doing it, I was going to say also about what you said about spidey, forgot to mention that he was first a reserved avenger, but he is currently a full-time member of both the old and new avengers till this day, that's what i was going to say. I am curious what other characters will appear on the avengers movie, probably the original guys and later the rest of the crew on the sequel (if it all turns out good) Back on topic, do you guys think that there will be a second villain on the film or do you think that the lizard is enough for this one? I for one think the lizard is enough, he has always been more then a match for spidey .

He is still an Avenger till this day, his is part of the original avangers that has thor, Iron man and Captain America and Wolverine but is also now a member of the New Avengers with Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Spider-woman, wolverine (yeah wolverine is on both teams also, both of them are very invaluable members) and others. Stan lee only appears on the movies of characters that he made, just like bobby said. Onslaught was not a reboot, just a way to change some things on some characters, the mutant thing was called House Of M where Scarlet Witch in the end made the majority of the mutant population powerless making the Mutant Race almost extinct, Spider-man suffered through the dreaded and stupid one more day arc but it did not really change anything in the continuity other than Harry being alive and Peter not being married to MJ.

yes, the Spider-man Reboot is in an entirely different universe from the Raimi films not a continuation, I would say Earth 199999 like the other recent marvel films (Iron man 1 and 2, Captain America, Incredible Hulk, Thor) since they are making the movies for so just to make the avengers but it has not been confirmed yet, I guess if this movie turns out successful it will be part of the same universe and maybe we will see Spidey in the Avengers movie, maybe the sequel if we are still alive. lol I don't think we will be seen any of the actors from the last 3 movies but we may get cameos from the other superhero movies, Stan Lee will probably appear there tho, we will have to wait and see, once we get more info i'll let you guys know.

there has only been 2 Reboots that i know of, Incredible Hulk and Punisher Warzone in which both were excellent in my opinion (although it was not necessary to reboot Punisher since the first one was great to begin with). giving the good that those two did for their respective franchises I will give the Spidey reboot the benefit of the doubt, it may turn out surprising us.

yeah, the organic webbing was cool but I am really fond of the artificial webbing, supposedly this time spidey will use artificial webbing so I guess we will see him make it this time around, I like the raimi films but only cause of the Villains, they where the spotlight of each film, Spider-man? although Tobey is a good actor he did not fill the roll well, Here is hoping that Garfield can redeem Spider-man's Image, also i am really digging Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, bow-chika-bow-wow!!

Due to a request i am making this thread to discuss the spider-man movie coming 2012. Well, where to Start....I guess i start to WHY it is being remade, from what i gathered they where pushing Sam Raimi to make a fourth movie a year after the 3rd which it would not give him enough time to film a decent story and i would have been rushed, so He quit, all the actors too and now i think sony is the one that is making the movie, Marc Web is the director now (500 days of summer) with Andrew Garfield (social network) playing as Spider-man. the story will be focused more like Ultimate spider-man where Spidey is still in High School, this time the Love focus is not going to be Mary Jane instead it will be Gwen Stacy who in the comics really is his first love (thank god they got this right) played by Emma Stone (Zombie Land ) the villain will be at the moment from what i can tell is The lizard . here is again a pick of how spider-man's costume looks like now:

well the Raimi movies are basically a different universe now form what i can gather. The Spider-man Reboot is going to focus more on when peter was in High school in his beginnings as Spidey, they are fixing the who is peters first love which is Gwen and not MJ which is cool, The lizard is going to be the main villain which i guess is the perfect 1st threat for spidey. I have a little glimpse of faith in this new adaptation Garfield looks like peter but i really hope he can ACT like peter AND spidey, the Raimi films where excellent in their own way but one thing that bugged me is that Tobey did good in the first movie as peter with and without but failed as Spidey and went downhill from the 2nd and 3rd. when i think of of Peter AS Spidey i think of confident looking character that delivers a lot of wisecracks, jokes, puns etc. ALL THE TIME on his opponent so they get frustrated and make a mistake so he can beat them up, some people dont like that but that is basically what Spidey is all about aside from solving his problems with science methods, Tobey did not deliver on any of those aspects i am really hoping that Garfield does. here is a first look at the new spider-man costume look in the movie:

according to the info, it is the venom symbiote just not Eddy Brock (original venom) since he is now Anti-Venom who is dedicating himself to fight the drug industry and eliminate all the symbiotes, and is not the former venom Mack Gargan since he is back in his new and improved Scorpion Suit (which looks awesome), The new venom is tho going to be a secret government agent but supposedly is a familiar character, dunno who but i hope this turns out good, i have seen a lot of hate for this new look, dunno why, is not like he can't show his monster form like the other Venom hosts did. Spidey will apparently evolve in powers in a few more issues too, or maybe get his former power upgrades back (since the whole one more day thing did not really intervene with anything in the spidey lore aside that Harry is alive and peter is no longer married, he should have had the powers he had after the awesome "the other" story arc, seriously , one more day has so many plot holes it is not even funny) and new costumes, can't wait to read the upcoming issues. btw, the new hobgoblin is awesome.

interesting, an unknown director for the godzilla film, this may go both way, either very good or very bad, hopefully very good since he could use this movie to make himself known to the world, he may actually put a lot of effort on this movie, only time will tell.

agreed, i mean we can understand his pain but man is he going overboard, if he was crying out of joy every time he sees one i would not mind, but nosebleed? it gets rater old fast.

well, they would use a regular wrist communicator (like in mmpr) or plain old fashion cell phones, when it comes to morphing in power rangers (depending on which season) i always like the idea of mystical items as the source for them to morph, in some seasons modern items would fit like In space, turbo and lightspeed but in others like wild force (phones to morph into animal themed rangers) it just doesn't. it just a matter of taste for me in that, they could have been a little more creative.

looks awesome, only have 2 minor problems with it at the moment, The masks underneath the helmets and the puns (they hurt) other than that it looks like saban is going the right direction with this, also, i would prefer that instead of phones (or in shinkingers case phones that turn into brushes) it would be mystical brushes that they would use to transform, but beggars can't be choosers I guess.

Interesting combos, I still laugh when i hear the Sagozo combo, Why? cause when i hear japanese words in a video game or anime or whatever most of the time i tend to misinterpret what they say and confuse it with a Spanish word since my native language is spanish, in the sagozo combo y confused SAGOZO!!!! with SABROSO!!!!! which means DELICIOUS!!!! in which then i proceeded to fall on the ground and laugh, i am sure i am not the only one that confuses Japanese word with another language word, but anyways, i wanted to share that cause i found it very funny.

i have no idea but i am interested to know who he really is, where is jimbei at and such. also my wishing of a merman being on the crew may not be so far off after all, they really do need a merman for situations like these and more, they where in a total disadvantage in the last 2 chapters, oh an hoorayyyyyyyy for sanji who got his wish granted to see mermaids, I shed manly tears like him when he saw them (and laughed too ) after all that he had been through he deserved to see them.
